never use this place they are incompetent thieves . hired them to open my pool to get what they called a discount I had to set up a appointment I had to give them my debit information but made it very clear that's not how I wanted to pay . that's fine it's just a deposit this was April .so come may I came home from work one day and noticed my Hayward pump was gone . so I call and ask why i was told they couldn't get it to work I said impossible . just bought it last year sure enough these idiots blew up my brand new pump and I knew exactly what they did and promised it would be replaced not rebuilt .i wanted exactly what I had before they jacked it up (I was beyond frustrated because I know how to open and close my pool I just had a planned vacation coming up and was super busy)so they had a outside source come and hook it up the new pump and come to find out in the process they broke my sand pump so they rebuilt the sand pump . they billed me 5hundred something I wrote the check and just said I want them gone ( charged me for chemicals when they used mine I told them about and just said this is ridiculous. low and behold I had a bill come up that I had to go through my bank history for the last year to prove I had paid . not only did this sneaky dirty company charge me 1700.00 for the pump they blew up they tore up the check that I wrote for the 5hundred dollars and ran it debit too . to cover there tracks. Please read all reviews, I have no idea how pool center is in business. I've been a customer for 5 years and at the start I tolerated the rude/ ego driven behavior but after today I refuse to return. I asked if they had a universal spa part and it was made clear they were not going to help, or look at options, insisting they could not help before looking at part. I could go into detail about our experience but I've wasted enough time, energy, and money on the Pool Center. My only suggestion is to find another company. The Pool Center has poor business practices, awful communication, zero accountability and as an added bonus, after their team damages your property, they'll lie to cover their tracks, make false accusations, block your number and refuse to speak to you. read more

The Pool Center has been a tremendous help in providing chemicals to keep my pool clear and in great condition. They also provide the products needed for a first time pool owner and was given instructions on how to maintain my pool water and chemistry. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy anything from The Pool Center. We bought overpriced, low grade, damaging "Poolife Rapid Shock" from this business based on a water sample we provided them that permanently damaged the liner in our 1 year old pool with shock burns. We contacted the owner Ed who is extremely hard to get in touch with, and he made excuse after excuse and took no accountability for the damage. He stopped responding when we presented evidence after researching reviews of this product and consulting with several pool experts that it was indeed the shock his company sold us that caused the damage. Clearly the owner Ed has no integrity, and he takes no ownership for the damage his products cause. The quality of products this business provides is not guaranteed and can result in permanent damage. Terrible customer service and damaging products is what this business offers. I will absolutely never buy anything from The Pool Center again, and I will definitely warn others not to as well. read more

Horrible, owners & staff very rude. Ordered new liner ($3000.00), would have been more if we didn't have insurance. The tech they sent out to install had no tools and had to borrow my husbands. Their tech cut the pool steps incorrectly which ripped the liner and ruined it. Owner came out & agreed to replace it. Original liner out of stock so we had to settle for a different liner. After several calls & going into the shop, Pool Center considered us a nuisances and became extremely rude. Got their money, so get out of here. Even told us they never wanted our business again, great customer service, right?! Owner couldn't understand why I was so upset, no ownership of their mess up, no apology, no how can we fix this - a big nothing with a hateful glare. To top it off the liner that was finally installed is so far off from the two we had chose. Pool Center picked out the ugliest liner you could ever imagine for us. Pretty sure it was done on purpose. Terrible service. Poor communication. Total disregard for customers. Summary of last 8 months: -Relaced pool pump and messed up electrical. Said they fixed it 3 times. Eventually had to pay an electrician to fix -Hot tub panel went out (under warranty). Came out 4 times, on the 5th trip, tech said panel burned out and lucky it didn't catch fire. Guess it was missed the first 4 times - Opened pool, left water running and left for the day, left pool house light in and door open. -New pump doesn't work, 3 trips and then changed out for different pump - New pool liner doesn't fit. 3 trips before a plastic patch put over corner to cover gap. Also, didn't cut out hole for light. Asked them to fix that. Here's the best of all...they cut out light hole, didn't put light back in and left power cord hanging in pool, and didn't tell us These are the highlights. Many more smaller issues read more

HORRIBLE POOL SERVICE! Last Summer it was their techs showing up on a Sunday, drinking alcohol in the company van and tossing their 40 oz. cans in my trash. They didn't even fire the guy. And he never showed up on the same day. It always changed depending on when he felt like doing it. This year has been more of the same. They refuse to wear masks, and I've asked the owner 3 times to have them do that. Yesterday, instead of waiting for me to come out and unlock the gate, they drove off and said, "F*** YOU," to my spouse when he said I was on my way out with the keys, But it was 6 p.m. on Friday. Time to start the weekend. Then they expect me to sit here all day Monday, again, waiting on them. Today I called the Pool Center and spoke with Ed, the owner, and he interrupted; said his employees didn't use that language (uh, Ed wasn't there, and I doubt the employee would admit to that). He was dismissive and instead of listening, just said, "We'll just take you off the schedule and won't come to your property anymore." Fine with me. That's why I was calling. And he was rude and could care. Less. I asked him if it would be okay if some came over and said, "F*** YOU to his spouse. He didn't want to answer that. He just got ruder, like we should accept and expect profanity out of the pool boy whose being paid by me to WORK. Their pool boy also left out a plastic container of chlorine tablets which my puppy got open and could have been injured or poisoned. The pool boy also left a long metal brush used for cleaning the pool in the grass, where it got mowed over by the lawnmower because it was hidden in the grass. No accountability there. Essentially, getting pool service from this place is useless. They do not communicate well or show up on time. They expect you to just sit for days waiting for them to arrive at their leisure. And the owner was just rude about the whole thing. Fine with me. It sounds like they need more time to keep up with their work. I'm happy to take some off their overburdened shoulders. They also have zero concern as a business about their customers' safety and will knock on your door without a mask; get crabby if you ask them to; and they really do not care if one of their workers goes and infects someone and they get Covid-19 and die. They want that $$$$ for the drive-by pool service. lol....then the owner boo-hoo'd to me about having to work 7 days a week during the Summer because he owns A POOL BUSINESS. Maybe he should have thought about the before owning one. Oh put on your big-boy pants. When I owned my business, I worked 7 days a week, too. It's called, "owning a business." Get over it or get out of it if you can't do it right or handle the load. And if the customer called to complain about their pool boy saying, "F*** YOU to a customer, the customer is probably not making that up. Why would he? I tried working with this outfit for two years; got poor service; and spent a LOT of money. They are $$$$. Don't you make the same mistake. I took a full time position with this business when I returned from college for the summer. I worked a total of 5 days and within those 5 days I was disrespected, talked down to, and quit. On the fourth day, I was left to man to the store myself for over 2 hours knowing only how to open and close the register. These disgusting owners are the most disrespectful and rudest people I have ever worked for. They leave customer messages unreturned. They don't have the courtesy to call customers to inform them of setbacks in their schedule or problems, leaving customers hanging. When I had finally had enough and decided to quit and walk out, I tried respectfully explaining to the owner's wife why I was quitting, she walked away from me stating I dont want to hear it. Take your business elsewhere, you will save yourself tons of frustration down the road. To the owner, your wife is the reason you can't keep employees for more than a few weeks, let alone days. I ordered a top of the line pool cover and despite being billed for that same pool cover I recieived a very cheap cover when i called and complained the representative said i should take a picture of the cover next to my other top of the line pool cover to show they were different and send it to him(which i did,and it clearly did) and he would get back to me. Two weeks later no return call ,so i called again and the girl informed me that there was no record of my complaint and to much time has passed for anything to be done. Over and Above. This what can make a good small business great. I went to open my inground pool this year, only to find that the pump motor that had only been installed a couple of years before, by the Pool Center, had seized. The impeller had no movement at all. I called the Pool Center. They immediately looked up the bill of sale and found that i had about 4 weeks left under warranty. I pulled the motor off the pump and took it in. They confirmed that the motor had seized up. Now, at this point most small businesses, and pretty much every big box business, would have you either call the manufacturer to deal with the warranty yourself, or at best would help you deal with manufacturer to get the warranty part. All of which would have taken a week or two with your pool slowly turning greener. The Pool Center took responsibility. They pulled the motor off of a brand new pump that they had in stock and handed it to me. The fact that they decided to take care of the customer, at possible cost to themselves, speaks to the quality of the owner and the people working there. Any of your big box retail stores would have said send it in and we will look at it. But not the Pool Center. They really try to earn your trust and your business by being trustworthy. They certainly have my trust, and my business. read more

I woke up to a empty hot tub no water so i called for warranty work after 2 weeks a mechanic showed up told me my pumps casing has broke they took the pump with them telling me they will call me after 1 day i called them they told me the pump was usually a 1 day delivery this was a friday on tuesday i called again i was told the pump is on the truck your on the list to get fixed on tuesday wedsday i called to be told the pump never came in there working on it so for the next month i called every week with the same response we are working on it till i called to be told the pump has been on the truck the whole time so they came sat to install it trusting that they did there job i filled it with water turned on the breaker went to a just temp to find i have no power so i turned off the breaker opened the shell of my tub to find a hose spraying water everywhere and the electrical only being held onto the unit by the ground all other wires where loosely hanging there i realized i could of been electrocuted so i fixed the tub and went to the store in person to report there employees dangerous repair to the owner acted like my report very unimportant said again they would call me two days have passed no resolution in sight 8 days have passed beware that person is still out there working on there calls safety seems to be low on there list the BBB have been contacted. read more
