He has old man bumps, hardly any teeth and thanks to COVID-19 about 5 months with no grooming other than what I could (more like could not) do. He was a mess. 2nd pet is a white she devil masquerading as a cat. She was shedding more than my 2 German Shepherds ever could. Huge white chunks of cottony fur everywhere...I swear there were mornings I woke up with the ability to automatically floss my teeth with the amount of fur the cat left on my bed that ended up in my mouth. Enter the superheroes at Wet Your Whiskers! The safety measures in place are impressive. Prices are very reasonable (I'd have paid double for the cat alone!) The groomers not only listened to what I put I had, they actually did exactly as I asked. They do a fantastic job! Please consider giving them a call if you're in the market for a grooming salon.

Our crazy black lab has been coming to Wags since she was 6…read moremos. old. While she's energetic now, she was like a cyclone back then! She needed (and still needs) an outlet for her energy. Wags is a great outlet for all dogs, because there's a big playroom where the dogs can mingle, play, run, nap along the walls . They are not confined to crates all day with just potty breaks and short play times. If a dog gets a bit over the top with playing, there's a time out. Our dog used to run with the other crazy puppies; and the older dogs taught her how to be a dog! After two years, she 's still happy at Wags and comes home tired when she's spent her afternoon there. The staff treats her well and is pleasant to me. I like that they keep records and notify us when our dog is due for a shot. Charlie has also spent time at Wags' kennel when we're out of town. She seems to do well at Wags n Wiggles, and for that, I am grateful to everyone!

My dog had two spinal surgeries so I wanted to make sure he wasn't placed in any kennel during his visit, the staff listened and were super up front and informative. They use a sort of play pen instead of cages/crates. They texted me a photo of a broken nail my dog had prior to the visit that I forgot to mention. Afterwards you get an entire report on how your pup did including a photo. Will absolutely be back and can't recommend them enough. Thank you Lexi and the entire staff!!

My black lab, Maestro Bunsen has stayed at Beyond the Paw multiple times over the last year when we…read morewould go out of town. They have always been great with him. Maestro was scheduled to stay there again for about 3 weeks in June (2025). After he was there for almost 2 weeks one of the owners, Peggy, called me and let me know she was a little concerned about Maestro's breathing and asked if it was normal for him. I knew he had some laryngeal paralysis going on and he pants a lot and gags because of it. I told her and Kenneth to limit his activity and try to keep him as calm as possible because when he gets excited his breathing gets worse. So they separated him from the excitement and Kenneth video called me the next morning so I could see his breathing. It looked a little concerning so I told him we may need to get him checked out by his vet. My family was out of state at the time, and we couldn't get to him. Kenneth took him to the vet and stayed with him while they gave him oxygen. He was blue and had to be sedated and stabilized. Then Kenneth transported him to the MedVet facility where Maestro was again blue and not oxygenating. They had to sedate him and intubate him. The vet called us and it was not looking good for our almost 12 year old fur baby. Ultimately the best decision was to euthanize him while he was already sedated so he wouldn't be struggling to breathe. Kenneth stayed at MedVet the whole time. He sent me pictures on the way to the vet and stayed in contact with me. Kenneth and Peggy did absolutely everything they could do to help save my pup and they were heartbroken when he didn't make it. They gave us a huge discount on the resort fee and took care of our baby until the very end when we couldn't be there. I HIGHLY recommend this resort! They love these animals as they were their own, and I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us! I'm so sorry they had to deal with this impossible situation with sweet Maestro, but I'm so glad they were there.

Dogs get outside time, grooming/bathing is available if required, and you just get the feeling that the people here really love and enjoy working with your pet.
