This is…read morewhere our dog almost died - he was attacked by another dog and required surgical wound repair and rabies shot leading to an expensive vet bill. We discovered the wound in the car 5 minutes after picking him up at 6pm. The owner of daycare took full advantage of this and denied that it happened there and refused to provide a video or the name of another dog he supposedly played with in the morning (video was deleted). We were told that our dog was "sleeping in the corner" all afternoon after playing with the other dog, which would be completely out of character indicating that he was injured in the morning and was left to suffer until 6pm. Animal Control got involved and discovered that only one person was watching 25 dogs that day and ordered to reduce the number of dogs to 15. If a daycare is unable to notice such a serious injury, to identify a dog in distress for hours or to cooperate and take responsibility for any incidents that may occur, then it is either incompetence, negligence and/or animal cruelty - take your pick. No dog is safe at this daycare.

She brings with her paperwork and a questionnaire about your cat so that she can learn more about your cats habits, traits, favorites, etc. While away, she sent me regular emails to keep me up to date on how my cats were doing and also hand-written daily journal entries. Lengthy entries that describes in a loving & fun way what the cats were up to on that particular day. Including details that you'd only know after bonding with the fur balls. The best part was returning home after a 10-day trip away and having my cat drag over a feather stick that I *never* used, and insist on play time for the first few nights back. If that doesn't assure you that she does give your fur babies attention and love, I don't know what would! On top of all of this, her rates are right on par with any other cat sitting service. She'll also write you an email the next day to make sure you are indeed safely home and taking over again. The world needs more Cindy's! I am extremely grateful for her - leaving your kitties in the care of a stranger can be stressful, she really helps you feel at ease.

I ordered this online a week before I needed it. Super easy check out process online. Upon arrival the store was empty and clean on a Saturday afternoon. They have a large selection of toys, food, and treats to choose from. It is kind of tempting to pick up everything haha. A lot of the toys were way overpriced though. A handful of toys were listed for $9.99+ but I can find for $3.99-$5.99 online or at TJMaxx. Same exact toys too. Their pastries and biscuits on the other hand were all so cute and perfect I almost got a little bit of everything. I love the fact that they were super accommodating and allowed me to get half pound biscuits in a variety of flavors in separate bags. Check out was fairly easy. They didn't need the order number for the cake. Instead they asked for the dogs name which was actually very shocking yet a lovely touch considering this is a Barkery. The cashier told us how to reserve the cake until we were ready to give it to our birthday boy and how long the biscuits can last for which was helpful. Upon check out we were also offered a free 1/2 pound of biscuits as a birthday gift which is super generous. Overall I would highly recommend The Barkery. They have a large selection of pastries and biscuits online and in stores. Personally, ordering online and picking up in stores was a breeze and we will probably do this again. You will literally be in and out in seconds if it's already paid for. The birthday boy loved everything and so did the other dogs at the birthday party!! Even the other dog owners asked where we got his cake and treats from. I can't wait to be back!
