GOOD FOR CAT BOARDING! They have a good cat care record with me. I've had Tee Emm's board my cat about 5 times for a week or more each time. Making reservations over the phone was easy and organized. They are extremely organized regarding their record keeping. The office staff pulled up my records, knew exactly what my requirements for food/medicine were, knew where I could be reached, and there were no surprises in the billing. The staff there seems competent, caring and attentive to animals. The cat boarding "rooms" are quite large and each one has a window and a shelf to perch up on. I plan to continue to take my cat there when I am out of town. read more

I had an interview there hoping it was a actual hidden gem lol no super dangerous packs way to many dogs in one small yard and they use nylon leads and keep them on the dogs during daycare for dogs who seem how should I say it *risky* that is a safety hazard a dog could get choked out a dog could die. I also got pulled aside by a rude staff member there and thrown into a dangerous group of dogs to "regulate" them I do not recommend this facility which is sad because I was so excited to start somewhere closer to home. read more

After almost 10 months I've taken my dog out of here. While attending their DayKamp my dog made a few great dog friends and favored a few of the "kind" workers who really cared for him! He had been going there Mon-Friday full time, but because of my recent work schedule change he has attended less days ...over the past few months I noticed he was coming home after a full day 8-10 hours and was still rambunctious and not tired at all. There was an incident with him and another dog recently (come to find out, a puppy, and my dog is 3) They know my dog does better with bigger dogs, as my small dog at home and him have butt heads in the past and this is why he was going there to socialize and get his energy out...I was told he was in the group with bigger dogs. When picking him up at the end of the day when I'd ask how his day was, I was told he had a great day and was a good boy! This past week, a newer employee who really took to my boy and worked with him to build his confidence (because while attending Kamp, he became fearful of men he didn't know) told me they were isolating my dog and lying to me saying he had a great day. I've trusted them wholeheartedly and when I went to address my concerns with the (male) owner, he painted my dog as a "problem" and said, "What, do you think you're special?" I was floored to say the least. I forget, this is a business and they don't really care about individuals, obviously. He also told me he's an engineer and leaves the animal part of the business to his "behaviorist employees". Ummm, having previous experience from working at another daycare facility with dogs previously does not make them behaviorists. Also, I'd like to point out that my dog is afraid of his wife but does not fear women in general. I have no idea where this came from. They are constantly accepting new dogs and always hiring but I don't see much new staff... my takeaway is that they are understaffed with too many dogs and obviously they're putting dogs together who don't belong together and isolate/remove dogs when they have too many. I should've taken my dog out of there sooner as I see now they don't really care about individuals. I wasted a lot of money taking my boy there and trusting them, just to find out he had been being separated from the other dogs and I didn't know, which makes me sad and upset. I'd also like to point out that my dog had a hurt paw one time and they said they had no idea how it happened... I let it slide. At that time one of the workers in charge "supposedly" gave me her cell number to contact her with any future concerns, but when I actually contacted her, she gave me the wrong number and would only contact me via email. Another worker in charge friended me on Facebook and come to find out she blocked me for what reason I don't know. Also, they post 100s of pictures in 1 day on their facebook page of their daykamp dogs but I've gone on many days to see my dogs pictures during his day there and fine none... this should have been my sign, especially since others asked them where their dogs picture is as well... meanwhile, some of the workers there have 1 and 2 dogs of their own whom I'd see dozens of pictures of. One time there was a picture of my dog mouth to mouth with a dog who had a prong collar on! Everyone knows this is a dangerous situation as my dog could have gotten his mouth, paw, etc. caught in the other dogs prong collar!! When I voiced my concern about not wanting my dog playing around dogs with prong collars because of obvious dangers, they said there was no guarantee. I can't make this stuff up but I feel like they were using my boy as a guinea pig with a possible problem dog. Too many dogs and not enough staff is a recipe for disaster... and they don't have a protocol to break up a dog fight if one breaks out. This is scary! Please be careful who you trust your dogs with; they're like toddlers and can't tell us what is happening when we are not around. read more

The staff is super friendly, but the process for their DayKamp needs work. When I dropped my dog off for her first day, I was given very little information on what her day would look like. I asked questions that were vaguely answered. I also asked for a tour of the facility but they just described it to me instead. For all I know she could've been in a crate most of the day - they say that they don't have crates but they won't let you see the facility...? They never checked in with me at any point in the day to let me know how she was doing or even to confirm the pick-up time. When I picked her up she was DIRTY. I had no idea they only play in sand when outside. The least they could have done was wipe the gunky sand from her eyes. She was VERY uncomfortable when we got back in the car - that was very disappointing. They gave me a cute report card on how her day went, but I just felt like I had to ask a lot of questions that should've been presented to me in the very beginning before handing her off to strangers. However, my dog seemed like she had fun and her behavior was fine afterwards, but again, this process needs to be more transparent. read more

Our 10-month old Golden Doodle, Rudy, did a multi-week in-kennel program with Danielle at Tee Emm's. Our main goal with this program was to make it so Rudy could function in our home. Prior to the training, Rudy could only stay in a gated area of our kitchen. Out of his area, he would try to run frantically around the house, hop up on tables, eat kids' toys, eat our girls' ponytails, etc. We'd try to bring him outside, but he would just vigorously try to eat grass and dig holes. We could have him sit with us in our living room for the time it took him to eat a bully stick and then he would switch to frantically eating his bed and/or trying to run around. There was never a time Rudy could be out of his gate without a leash. As a near 60-lb 10-month old, this was a lot to handle and we were discouraged to say the least. Since getting Rudy home, he is still that fun puppy we first saw but obedient and calm. When it's time to have fun out in the yard, Rudy lets loose and runs around, plays fetch, etc. But when it's time to chill, Rudy chills. There are no more gates. Our kids spend the first 20 mins of each day petting him. He hangs out with me in my office for hours at time. He's a joy on walks. He politely greets neighbors, and they love being able to pet him. It's well beyond just "being able to function." He's no longer a source of stress and frustration; he is the source of joy we had pictured when we talked about getting a dog in the first place. Danielle also trained Rudy properly on the e-collar. I had read the e-collar was an effective training tool, but had to be done correctly in a positive manner and not as a punitive tool. Danielle trained Rudy and then us on how to use it and it's been fantastic. Danielle and the entire Tee Em staff were phenomenal to work with. They answered all of our questions prior to the program. They kept us up-to-date with pictures and videos. It was clear Rudy was learning a lot and also being very well taken care of. Cannot recommend highly enough. read more

We brought our two large breed dogs to board them 4 separate times. We had a reservation and showed up in the morning and were told they did not have the correct vaccination records. They had been boarded a month prior and we were never informed we needed anything additional. The staff told us it was our fault and refused to accept the dogs. They acted like they were doing us a favor and would not even come outside to speak with us. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNORGANIZED. TM's Kennel is a fantasy land for dogs. I'm convinced it's the best place you could bring your pup for boarding, obedience classes, grooming, and regular day care services. I have a Giant Schnauzer ( / wildebeest) who has TONS of ENERGY, and this place has been exactly what we needed to socialize her with other dogs and get her energy levels down to normal. These days, you'd never know from the look of her that she can be a ravening hell-beast. The people at TM's send me photos of my puppy playing with other dogs throughout the day, so that I only wish I was having as much fun! They are excellent at giving us feedback about her behavior, and have trainers that work on problem spots (like, uh, flying at dogs twice her size and gleefully trying to chomp them; fear of going up stairs and other peculiarities). I never guessed I'd be one of "those people" who take their dog to daycare :-) ...but she is 100% different when she's in DayKamp a couple times a week. To boot, the prices are extremely reasonable compared to training, grooming, and other services offered at places like PetSmart or your local vet... a great value for what you get. read more

Our APBT would trot in with his tail in the air and go behind the counter and scratch at the door to get into the kennel entrance. He loved it there, maybe more than home. Our dog was a good obedient dog, but highly driven and could be rough around other dogs and he would not cooperate with people he did not like. He got on well there. That was not so with other kennels and our dog would let us know. He always came back from Tee Emm's to us fit and in good spirits, even once when we had to leave for two weeks. read more

I boarded my dog at TeeEmm's for 2 nights. When I picked my dog up, I noticed the invoice was for 3 days. Despite my dropping off my dog right before closing, I was charged for an entire day. The staff indicated that they have to "reserve" the kennel for the day so that no other dogs can be placed there. That practice seems like a method to upcharge but put lower costs on paper. They did not explain that practice when I made the reservation. But overall my dog seemed well in their care. read more

I've always had a good experience with Tee Emm's however I recently dropped my dog off at doggy Daycamp in which she would spend the night after in boarding and the 2nd day she would do another full day of Daycamp and I would pick her up that evening. So she was set up for 1 overnight and 2 days of Daycamp in total, when I received the bill she was charged for 2 days of Daycamp but also for 2 night of boarding ($30x2) I explained this is a mistake and she only did one night in which I was told they charge by calendar day not by the night. So just so everyone knows they advertise $30 a night for boarding but they charge you double. My dog spent one night in boarding which I was charged $60 not the $30 advertised. read more

I'm updating my review to a very guarded 2 star after our recent experience. In short, after an 8 day stay our dog was returned to us with something lodged in his small intestine that required surgery. Thankfully our dog survived surgery and is doing very well. The staff at the kennel genuinely felt bad for what happened and offered to reimburse us for the vet bills which was an extremely sign of good faith for them. I know accidents happen and that's what we are chalking this up to. However it's going to be a while before we have the faith and trust to bring him anywhere. I'd like to note, DO NOT USE THE GROOMER HERE!! Whoever it was tortured our dog and cut through almost all of his quicks and cut his nails insanely short. I noticed crusty clumps of blood on the end of his nails which clearly indicates the groomer cut his quicks and then applied some of the powder to clot the blood. When I questioned the manager on this, she told me the groomer had a hard time with our dog and clipping his nails. This was miscommunication on my part because I only intended/requested for them to give a bath since he hates having his nails trimmed. They have to be done a very particular way so he does not fight you. Anyway, any professional groomer should know if they are meeting resistance clipping nails, just stop. Don't torture the animal and fight with them it will only make things worse in the future for nail trims. They should never intentionally cut through the quick just to get the nails trimmed. Just awful...This person should be fired... At any rate, I'm still confident the kennel is a good facility. However if your dog has any tendency to ingest toys or inanimate objects, warn them very carefully about this. I did warn them ahead of time but it was still missed. Like I said accidents can happen, just don't let it happen to your Fido... read more

TM's is an excellent dog care facility. My dog has attended three different dog daycares in other locations, a couple of different groomers and trainers, and TM's is by far the best on all counts. He has attended TM's daycare 1-3 days per week for over a year, and I only have positive things to say. I don't worry about my dog for even a second when he's there. I know he is being well taken care of, and that he's having a blast playing with his human and canine friends. The staff is professional and friendly. They clearly all love dogs and are enthusiastic and upbeat every single time I see them. They really know my dog and his personality quirks, and they give me honest feedback about his behavior. I also use TM's grooming services. My dog gets both basic baths and full grooming, and Gail does a great job for a really reasonable price. She often fits him in at the last minute, and even though he does not like to be groomed, she manages to make him look and smell great despite him being a difficult customer. I have also used TM's training services. Tracy is a very knowledgeable trainer, and she did a thorough intake/interview with me prior to setting up our appointment. That allowed us to accomplish a lot during our session, during which she travelled to my home to practice in real life situations. She used only positive training methods and my dog responded well to them. I plan to do more training sessions with TM's in the future. Overall, I can't say enough positive things about TM's, and can't imagine a better resource for dog owners. read more

Awful awful! I've had my dogs stay here one other time and it was ok. Not outstanding but no complaints. This month I needed to board them again and I had called to set something up. The barking and noise in the background was so loud that I offered for the woman to call me back since she sounded so annoyed trying to take down info. She said no problem and that she would call back. After a few hours I was impatient and called back...got the answering machine left a message....next day no call again so I called back.... Still nothing so I gave up. To this day I never received any call or correspondence. So irritating, is this a clue in how absent minded or careless they are with the dogs??? You don't know how great a boarding experience can be until you try out a place called "off the leash" in Attleboro, ma. My dogs loved them so much they truly did not want to leave! read more

Doggie daycare is ok. That's about it. If you're boarding your large breed dog in the summer months, think again. No air conditioning whatsoever + high stress levels = bloat=death No drainage system either which is disgusting. With the outrageous prices they charge for their 'services' they could most definitely afford to put drains in. Training is a joke, none of the so called 'trainers' are even certified and are stuck in the 1980's as far as training style. The 'in house' training is especially awful...no positive re-enforcement here folks! Just a whole lotta pinch collars and yelling at your beloved dog. Don't ever bring your pet to a place that does not allow you to enter the specific kennel they will be staying in. And if you're going to train your dog, pretty sure you need to actually be there so the dog listens to YOU. read more

I have never been to a kennel/ day care facility that was so involved with their animal charges. Everyone I speak to there knows the dogs and what they are doing while they are there. The staff is fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. The facility itself is clean and roomy and there is a great place for the daycare dogs to run and play. My dog is kind of a pill but since she has been going there she is much more friendly to people and other dogs. I owe it to them. read more

I just wanted to get the word out there about how great Tee Emm's Kennel is. We have always boarded our pets here even though it is nearly an hour drive from our home. To us, it is worth the drive to ensure that our dog is getting good care in a nice space. We have always had positive experiences with Tee Emm's. On our most recent trip, we got the call any pet owner on vacation dreads - a call from the kennel that our dog was having a medical issue. Tee Emm's called to let us know that our pup seemed to be having some sort of allergic reaction. Her cheeks and mouth area were swelling up. Before calling the vet, they got in touch with us to check that something like this was not routine for her. Then they administered Benadryl with my permission, waited 15 minutes and when she showed no improvement, they brought her to the vet where she received a steriod shot to curb the reaction. The staff at Teee Emm's was in constant communication with us throughout the time this was happening. Despite being thousands of miles away and nervous about my dog, I always knew she was getting great care. Everytime I called to check in on her over the following couple of days, they were reassuring and patient. When we returned to Tee Emm's to pick her up, our dog was bright eyed and back to normal. I had been expecting a giant extra charge for all of the extra care our dog had required during her stay but we were only charged for the cost of the vet visit which was very reasonable. I would never wish that something would happen to my pet while I am away, but seeing how well Tee Emm's handled something when it DID happen makes me feel even better about leaving my dog in their care in the future. My dog loves TM Kennels he goes to doggy daycamp there every friday and trust me he knows when its friday he tries to jump on the bed to wake us up to go! He was an out of control puppy who jumps on people and now since he goes to TM's i swear hes a changed dog, the interaction with other dogs has helped him become a better dog. The staff is great and treats my dog so well I could not ask for more... he has been kenneled there a few times and I have never had a bad experience, last time he came home with an eye infection, i took him to the vet and with a little antibiotic he was fine within a few days, that is the chance you take boarding your dog, i cant help what another dog gave him and either can the kennel, so i was not upset. I have referred many people here and will continue to do so, thanks TM! read more

Our rescue dog has had a lot of anxiety and aggression problems and we didn't think we could ever put her in a daycare never mind board her anywhere. That changed with TMs. Their trainers, staff, and groomers have been a godsend. Not only do they lovingly take care of her... she LOVES going there! With the staffs' care, guidance, and training, she behaves like a champ with the other dogs and people. My wife dropped of our dog for boarding several days before New Years. Before leaving, she asked the person behind the desk if the kennel would be open on Tuesday (New Years day) to pick up our dog. Her answer was yes. When I came to pick up the dog on New Years day, ( a forty minute round trip for me) the door was locked, but someone was coming in the back. I politely explained my situation since the kennel was clearly closed. The woman in charge said " no we are not open, sorry we are just preparing to leave for the day" and closed the door in my face. I have to say that Chris and her staff have changed my dogs life! She was an out-of-control wheaten terrier that did not understand the word NO. Wheatens have extremely high energy and having her attend daykamp twice a week, has brought peace of my mind to me; and positive behavior to my dog. Its the little things that make a difference in choosing where you bring your "furkids". This is the third daykamp/kennel I have used since introducing my dog to the format. TM's goes beyond your expectations, and a perfect example of this is watching my dog get so excited when I turn the corner to enter the campus. Prior daycares that I used, (one on the Cape, one in Woburn), Bailee would actually NOT get out of the car and appeared afraid of the staff after a few visits!! Trust your dogs instincts they can "sense" when something is off, as well as your own judgement! The negative reviews I have read on here are NOT indicative of the overall experience your dog will receive, and ALL can be attributed to POOR people behavior. Yes, accidents happen, THEY ARE DOGS!! As far as kennel cough goes, Bailee receives her kennel cough shots religiously twice a year as all the other RESPONSIBLE pet owners do. Just takes a few ppl to ruin the otherwise very healthy doggie environment. Bailee has had extensive training and all of her grooming is done on-site, to perfection. In closing the most important thing for me regarding my dogs comfort and mental health, is her natural love for all the staff and people surrounding TM's. I bring home a happy, tired, well-adjusted pup twice a week, and my life is better for it! read more

Do you want your dog to get sick ? Then... If you want to have a dig sick with kennel cough or something else then bring your dog here. My neighbor brought his dogs here 2 times a week for doggie daycare. Both gout sick with kennel cough as did all of the dogs. They had to shut the place done. One of his dogs died from complications from the kennel cough. His dogs got my dogs sick and after weeks of very ill dogs, over $1000.00 in vet bills mine are still not 100%. My vet had 10 other cases from clients of theirs as well. So dont go unless you want a sick dog. read more

Was trying to see if my dog would be a good fit for the Kennel. Wanted to bring her by to see how comfortable she would be with the local, staff, and other dogs by way of either half day daycamp and/or boarding. For some reason the person who answered the phone didn't seem to understand what I was asking. It's like bringing your child to a new daycare or school, to make sure it's a good fit on both sides. HORRIBLE!!!! Taking my dog here was the biggest mistake of my life! The staff, though you can see the have a love for dogs, can not handle the ammount of responsibility that is associated with this type of business. I just put my dog in the DayKamp, and 2 days in they call me telling me he is too intimidated by the other dogs. He has been in 2 previous day care centers and NEVER had a problem. Speaking to ther people, I have found that they all say the same thing. Tee Emm never gtakes responsibility for anything, its always an issue or a problem with your dog, or the way your dog is trained. They are aweful! I suggest any place other than this!!!!! read more

I brought my dog there twice and will not be returning. The first time I brought my dog there he was a puppy and was still nippy. The people who handled him acted like they had never seen a puppy before and were very timid when he started jumping on them. He was only 10 lbs at the time...should have been a red flag for me. Upon picking him up I asked them about their training services to help me with his nipping and jumping so that it would not become a more serious problem in in the future. The woman told me that their training didn't deal with behavior issues. WHAT? All puppies nip and jump. I told her it was typical puppy behavior and she again told me I should see a trainer that dealt with "those issues." Awesome. I didn't want to use them again but I had a last minute trip come up and needed to board him on short notice. He was only there two nights and when I came to get him AGAIN the dog handler was acting all awkward with him. These people handle dogs everyday...it was ridiculous. Then she handed him over to me and his feet were COVERED in mud and he has feces all over his bum. I looked at her like I was disgusted...they are supposed to bathe the dog before they return them to you. She said to me with a flippant attitude...."he was too excited so I couldn't clean him." "Are you kidding me? Again...great dog handling skills...who hires these people? Why did he have feces on him in the first place? Do they not clean their kennels?? While their prices are low, you pay for what you get....LOW QUALITY CARE and low qualified staff. I will never use their services again and I suggest you don't either. read more

So the first time I went to Tee Em's I thought, it was a good place. They seemed like a reputable establishement with good prices at first look. However I have to say I was rather disapointed when they told me not to bring my "puppy" golden retriever back. Accusing him of barking and causing choas and causing other dogs to injure themself. Granted my dog does have a lot of energy, and is prone to trying to escape...but, HE'S A PUPPY seriously...I've had my dog for almost one year and I can count the amount of times I've heard him bark. and he is nothing like they portray to be, at home. In addition to that he has been injured on their property, having scraped his nose on more than one instance. (this should've been my first sign to find another place, but it was close to home and well priced) He's also had access to chew rusted chain links on there doors and has licked off paint on their walls. As told and shown to me by the staff This place has always given me a hard time about my dog, and may have bias towards intact males. I do think this place may be understaffed and not qualified to train dogs. If they can't handle one puppy, how are they going to manage over 50 dogs effectively. My thoughts, this place has great prices but is it really worth the risk. Simple fact is they are too big and not properly equipped to handle and or stimulate all kinds of dogs, even the ones who may have more energy than some. Their kennels aren't "dog proof" and honestly they do pose a health risk. read more

Our senior Shitzu Abby enjoyed daycamp very much at Tee Emm's. She became a very different dog once she started going there. After losing our other dog, Abby was suffering separation anxiety and have "accidents" at home while we were at work. We decided to bring her to Tee Emm's for daycamp 2 days a week, and we immediately saw a difference in her! Thankfully, Abby made new "friends" and looked forward to going to 'school'! Some weeks, she went more often. The staff loved Abby like their own! Being an animal lover and advocate to all animals, I cannot honestly understand where the negative comments from other reviews on this page are coming from? I can honestly say that Chris and her staff do an outstanding job and are fully dedicated to the dogs in their care.
