I feel incredibly lucky to have found Amy. My two dogs are special and quirky - as in emotional and shy and don't take to strangers easily. Within ten minutes my Ranger was giving her kisses! I was sold. Amy has a very calm presence and that came through to me and obviously to the dogs. After providing her with a lengthy set of instructions for just visiting them mid-day for potty breaks, she didn't freak out or think I was weird. She was more than willing to do whatever I did so that the pups would keep their routine. In addition to sending me either a text or email after every visit, she also left me a "report card" with how the dogs did and reacted to her which was a nice treat. I like the attention to detail and extra information. It was just like I was there! As a bonus to the report card, Amy also left a couple of homemade treats for the dogs AND a dozen eggs from her own chickens! It's just so comforting to know I can trust and rely on someone to handle things in my absence. I didn't worry for one minute which is an amazing gift for me when I'm away from home. I've already schedule another week with her and have her booked for a long weekend with overnight stays - another nice bonus - no kennels! Amy's prices are reasonable, she is very professional and dependable - you can't go wrong!

After letting us know the problem, she helped problem solve a solution that didn't require our return home, and in no time she had it taken care of. Because of Patty's sharp eye, we had no worry about potential damage to our home. And no concern for our little guy, Khan. She loves animals and they love her back. Your pet is in safe hands. She's a professional pet sitter and very good at her job. She is gregarious, friendly, and kind. I feel she charges a fair rate for her time, though it can get expensive if you're gone for any time. That said, after spending time at Updawg for daycare and overnight boarding, we've seen a complete turnaround in her behavior. What's incredible is that this transformation didn't come from formal training sessions--we simply boarded her while traveling. Her improvement is 100% due to the environment and care she's received at Updawg. While we'll always be mindful (she's still an animal, after all), I now have peace of mind knowing she can interact with other dogs. That's something I never thought I'd be able to say. Another huge win: nail trims. She used to need a "doggy chill pill" just to get through them, but thanks to the gentle and loving approach from the Updawg staff, sedation is no longer needed. That's a game-changer for her and for us. The genuine love and excitement the team shows every time we drop her off or pick her up makes it easy to recommend Updawg so highly. Took pet to Vet and was told he received a cut to his paws trimmed. Called and reported it only to be told to bring the vet bill and pictures. Did that and was told it was not their fault. Manager never called me, asked me any further questions or ask the groomer if they tried to trim the fur and cut my pet on accident and then just stopped. will not be using their service ever again. Poor communication and no integrity. Bad service.

The dogs get a stimulating walk and a fresh water bowel. I get a detailed, written note upon returning home as well as a text during the day so I have piece of mind that he's walked our dogs. He is so tuned in with our dogs that he knows when our older, arthritic dog needs to be returned home before finishing the walk with our energetic 5 year old. I cannot say enough positive things about him. We're moving back to CA and will miss him. We love you, Bruce!

Both of my cats have different personalities and needs. And Bruce treats them as such. During one awful moment in my life, Bruce proved how compassionate he is with humans, in addition to animals. I called Bruce to share that my greatly beloved Boots, "a dog in cat's clothing", had quite unexpectedly just "dropped dead". (As in one minute he's here, the next minute he's dead). I was devastated. Boots and my special relationship was quite similar to a loving dog who adores, and would do ANYTHING to please his "best friend" (me). Boots, a cat, had no clue that a cat's job was to please themselves, ONLY... Boots was the epitome of an attentive, loving DOG. He would jump on my lap to lick my face, loved learning tricks, he "meowed" when asked to speak, would run to the door when someone knocked, etc.! Absolutely a dog "in cats clothing"!! During my moment of grief Bruce was able to console me like NO ONE ELSE could. While we were on the landline he sent me some wonderful photos (including a short video) that he had taken of Boots during a prior pet sitting stint. Caring enough to photograph/video pictures of MY beloved boy during one of Bruce's visits, showed me a lot. OMG!!! Couple that compassion with Waggin' Tails ability to provide GENUINE and loving care, I trust that when I am not with them, my animals are receiving the best care possible. Before finding Waggin' Tails, I tried other pet sitting services. Most were OK. I believe that (most) parents would agree that they want great care for their children, not just OK care. I don't think the business is ready for prime time, -Services offered are not price-listed on the website; - 44lb poodle cost $140 to groom = excessive [2x Petco]; -assumed tip was included in that price; -a 4% service charge was added for a credit card without warning! -the groomer cut my dog's face under her eye and didn't fess up. - no follow-up apology has been received; This business won't last is my prediction; they are not customer friendly; but rather rip-off artists.
