I've only started visiting Pooch Parlor recently, primarily to get my cat's nails cut. My cat is a little fiesty, definitely not the cooperative kind, but the folks at Pooch Parlor are extremely accommodating and do a great job with the kitty's nails every time. They are genuinely kind and animal loving people, it's very evident from the way they work with the pets, and they have a warm safe environment for our furry friends. Definitely recommend! read more

Overpriced for a bad cut and poor treatment. Poor customer service! Pet owners and pet lovers beware. Ruined my dog's beautiful hair. I love this place!! The staff are very friendly with their clients. I am a new customer and i took my dog for a grooming. I live a little farther, but it was worth the drive for me and my pup. When i arrived i was greeted by a young woman in the front desk, i asked her about the protocol on how to drop off my pooch, she said to just wear a mask. When i arrived it did not smell like dogs at all. i felt confident that they would take care of my pup, i saw all the dogs running around the groomers, one groomer in particular, was very nice to pup, not sure if he groomed my pup but when i picked him up he looked gorgeous! i loved the hair cut, i asked for a semi short body and a round face. the process looked like 3 hours. but it was worth it. I've been going since last October, 3 times so far, after our house-call groomer for the past few years became MIA. It's taken these few times for them to get a hang of our preferences but they've been great because they keep notes in her record of all of our requests so they don't forget. They've been following our requests to the T and our dog has clearly become more comfortable with each visit. We highly recommend them if you live in the area. read more

This is another case of you get what you pay for. Yes, my Pomeranians hair was knotted, because he had a few bad hair cuts before and we were trying to grow out his over coat. Do you know what happens to a Pom if you shave their undercoat? A groomer should and should have called before they decided to shave my dog. She repeatedly said he hadn't been there in 5 months, and it was knotted. He's been to several other groomers who had no problem brushing out the knots. I've brushed out dreadlocks, it's called conditioner. Now I know why they are done so quickly. Clippers and done. They could have at least called to ask. read more

Nothing but positive things about this place and I've had some bad experiences with dog groomers but I have to say this is the friendliest, cleanest, and reasonably price place I've been to. From the beginning to the way the great you and the way they let the dogs interact with each other during service and not keep them locked up in a cage, all the way to the end where they send you a report card on how your dogs stay with them was! My dog is actually happy to go here, I'm the sad one leaving him for a couple short but quick hours. They get the job done and they do a good one at that! I am not too sure about this place last time i went I saw the groomer being way too rough with a grey poodle while using shears to trim its face. The owner, Chelsea, is professional and personable and clearly understands and loves dogs. The parlor is adorable in its decor, easy-to-get-to and ultra-clean. My pooch came home with sweet-smelling breath, a nice clean coat and a wagging tail. Plus, I got a personalized grooming report card sent to my e-mail address before I even got home. I rarely leave any kind of reviews because I'm not good at it.. but Chelsea @ Pooch Parlor is PawesOme!!! I've been to many different groomers whether because my friends owned them or because of just where I lived in the past 10 years. I was skeptical at first of going because to be honest I was never really satisfied of any of the groomers I have been to in the past some of them were OK but just never really fully satisfied. So I procrastinated for about two months and finally decided to go see Chelsea @ Pooch Parlor. because my Yorkie needed a cut. The other people are % right. You do get what you pay for I could tell Chelsea took the time on my pup because her grooming especially around my Yorkies face was so clean. I know it took allot of time to clean because it was kinda bad... . But thanks to Chelsea she was super clean and back to her beautiful self!! . Anyways can't go wrong here and if you live far away its worth the drive!! Pooch Parlor is a great place to have your pet groomed. My dog is shy around strangers and likes to get a little aggressive, so it is usually hard for me to get her groomed because most places turn my dog away. I visited Pooch Parlor and the owner, Chelsea, to my surprise was able to gain my dogs trust. I was impressed to hear Chelsea say that my dog behaved and was not that aggressive towards her. I do not know how she did it but my dog came out of there not only with a brand new haircut, but with a new attitude.The fact that she made my dog feel comfortable without me being present says a lot about her. Chelsea is very passionate about animals and actually takes the time to get to know your pet. She is doing what she loves and Pooch Parlor is more than just a business, it is a second home for your pet. The highlight of my experience was when I received my dogs grooming report card via email on all the things Chelsea checked for while grooming my dog, and attached was a picture of my dog (which I was able to download and save).
