Our family has been searching for a reliable dry cleaner that can deliver ready-to-wear clothes. After reading numerous positive reviews, we decided to give McLean Cleaners a try about a year ago, despite the higher cost and having to trek from outside McLean. Our experience has been far from stellar. One of the major issues is that I often have to steam items in our order before wearing them. In particular, the collars on at least half of the women's blouses I receive are creased. It's also not uncommon for our dry cleaning to not be ready when promised. I rarely write reviews, but today's experience was the last straw. We dropped an order a few days ago and were promised pick-up today. Given past experiences, we called twice to confirm it would be ready when promised at 4:00 p.m. We were assured that it would be. When we arrived close to 5:00 p.m., we were informed it was not ready. The associate could provide no explanation as to why. We are disappointed that the level of service does not match the higher cost or the positive reviews. We will likely continue our search for another cleaner that can deliver ready-to-wear clothes when promised. If anyone has recommendations, I'm all ears.

There are large to very massive sized dryers as well. Note: The newer, shiny industrial size dryers are hot! I put in a queen sized comforter and it was dry in less than 15 minutes. I would start with 10 minute intervals and add quarters as needed. I almost put in 40 minutes worth of quarters which would have been way too much. The machines operate on coins only, specifically quarters. There is a change machine on hand to break down small bills up to a $20 bill into quarters. They have a laundry service as well. I noticed people dropping off and picking up their laundry. Not too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Very pleased. In addition, there are more than 6 casual dining places within the same plaza, so you can grab a bite to eat while waiting for clothes to wash and dry.
