Ultimately we received a great recommendation from a friend that had her as their wedding photographer. We are so happy we went this route! Wedding planning amidst a pandemic wasn't easy & at times felt a bit less celebratory than I envisioned. Christine was great with meeting us virtually, making us feel comfortable, & answering our questions leading up to the big day. For instance, I even leaned on her experience in choosing my bridesmaids dresses... she was helpful all around. Both of us (bride/groom... but mostly groom) have very lively & sometimes crazy, friends/families. Christine & crew did a great job wrangling the herd & getting everything accomplished; all in a very nice manner. Patient, fun & lively were the words I'd describe the crew as, the day of our wedding. Day of went smoothly, including our photos getting ready/around the city/and of course at the wedding ceremony and reception itself. The week of the wedding we decided to extend our 2nd shooter an additional hour & the team was really easy to work with on that. Kate was our 2nd shooter and she was fabulous as well. I'm a pretty frugal guy, so my ideal wedding photographer would be my friends with digital cameras. Alas, that viewpoint is not shared by my wife, so the next best option was Mark Campbell. He was very reasonable and absolutely top-tier. We received the photos via DVD today and they are perfect. He even created a photo label for the DVD... cool added touch, whereas he could have simply written on it with a Sharpie. Also, included was an extra DVD copy for each of our families. At the wedding, he did his thing and directed the photo shoots and was just super organized and energetic. Highly, highly recommend Mark for your Chicagoland events.
