TOTALLY SATISFIED!!…read more I am more than pleased with the landscape work Hawkins Landscaping, Inc. did for my total backyard overhaul. I went from no backyard (dirt and weeds) to pool, patio, and landscape. David Hawkins and his crew delivered a final landscape (included a retaining wall) outcome more than I envisioned. Just as important, David and the entire crew was friendly, pleasant, respectful, and more than accommodating to work with (for me and my little dog, Arizona). I truly enjoyed working with and meeting all the crew members on my project. In addition to a beautiful new addition to my yard, the crew left my entire yard, asphalt driveway, and other areas neat and clean. I will definitely contact Hawkins Landscaping for my future projects and recommend them to friends and colleagues. L. Owens

I enjoyed watching Him work it was like watching the artist at work. They had everything down to the finest detail they knew exactly what they were doing. They could tie a rope from one tree to another and swing part of that tree side ways as it fell. It was really amazing I'd never seen anything like it. They had a crew of six or seven men that moved in unison as the need arises they knew exactly what to do. They worked as a team together. You can tell they were professional's of the highest quality. Once we had a chance to review he and the crew were off and running. The overall job done is simply amazing. We had them clean up our front yard (it looks nice now!!!) and remove a tree. You can't even tell there was a tree before. He cleaned out our front flower beds and added a beautiful gravel area replacing the mulch. This was such a simple and easy process! Oh, and Bo is a hoot!

I contacted Nature's Friends to sort out my issues and Cliff was over at my house in no time. He talked through any prior water retention issues I had, and came up with a plan to future proof our house from any flooding that could happen with big storms. The crew were back out within a few days and executed the plan as Cliff specified. The laborers placed one of the pop-ups a little too close to the house, and without any intervention, the day-of-supervisor spoke with me to let me know they would extend it according to plan, and corrected everything. They also replaced my sump pump, which was not the easiest thing due to a seized grate closure (see pics), and at a fraction of the price quoted by plumbers. I was really impressed with how quick everything was completed, and for a job like this (digging long trenches to run PVC), my yard looks nearly immaculate. They gave me instructions to heal the grass patches so my lawn would look as it did before in no time. After the work was done, Cliff reached out to make sure all was working well when it rained. I highly recommend reaching out to Nature's Friend for any of your needs -- you can tell they really care about their customers, and I will be reaching out to them for any future landscaping needs.

The job was half done. I told him and asked him to come back and complete the job and he said it's normal for the weeds to come back and that a lot of his customers have him weed on a monthly basis... maybe a weed here or there, but I paid well for weeding and mulching to eradicate weeds and this was not our arrangement. Did not seem to understand that to keep weeds from growing back, he should have put down weed mat or sprayed - he did not do either and did not raise either as 'extra'. So, $300 for these areas and 2 weeks later it looks like my yard bed is heading back to where we started. Spraying here and there is reasonable as a homeowner, but as a landscaping company, I expected better service and more knowledge. He told me he did his job well and isn't coming back. I wanted to give a chance for someone to come back and correct, but he said no, so I want to leave an honest review for other yelp users looking for a similar project.
