Teo did our backyard sod installation, replaced 5 boards on our deck and cleaned our gutters. So far so good. He arrived when scheduled, removed the old grass, graded and prepped the yard and laid the sod. It was done over two days and looks great. He even said he would return in two weeks to check on it and do the first mowing. He was very friendly, fast and efficient. He was also the lowest quote out of the three we got. Teo was the best quote we got of 3 in the DC area to upgrade our back to a lawn from mixed plants and to add a new gate further back and that provided more privacy. The back and front look great now (it's been a year) and we have him come to mow or clean up the front plants now and then. He and his daughter to great work and are great people! read more

Teo's crew is timely, very hardworking, and extremely courteous! I needed a lot of work done on an overgrown property and Teo delivered on the promise to have it looking spectacular by the end. To be honest, if you had seen the property beforehand you would have said "spectacular" was not possible, certainly not in a single morning, but Teo did the impossible and made that yard look like it had been loved and tended to all along! Long story short -- Teo's is great. Reliable and fantastic work. Definitely call them for a quote! I asked Teo's for an all day job. Trimming all the trees off of my house, mulching, and weeding. The estimate was reasonable and the work stellar. Communication: incredibly strong. I reached out on Yelp and heard back right away. They were happy to answer all of my questions and didn't pressure me to buy things that I didn't ask for. Teo's has great customer service--highly available. In an age of robo answering machines, this was a nice change of pace! Quality of work: I am very pleased with the quality of work. My patio still needs new furniture--but the weeds are finally gone. The thing was COVERED. The trees have been trimmed back enough where I won't need work done for another year, but they still look healthy. I wish I had taken a before/after set of photos--it's truly night and day for the work done on my yard. Price: Teo's prices are reasonable. They're not so low that they're concerning; but, they are affordable. They were definitely better than many of the other quotes I received. I used the get a quote option on yelp for a job. This in turn turned into me getting 4 estimates for the job. We talked in yelp. It seemed like a generic message. They asked me to text I did. They did come and ask what work I needed done. (All of this was in the text) but whatever. I wanted lawn work done. He suggested a patio build. I guess my job wasn't big enough. He said he would give me a quote the next day and days later. Nothing. Would not recommend. read more

After interviewing several landscapers we chose Teo's Landscaping and couldn't have been happier with his work. Price was more than reasonable, and actually considerably cheaper than the other landscapers. He showed up on the date scheduled, and on time. He did the work in a timely fashion and worked with us throughout the process. The property had been neglected for several years and it was a very large project. I posted a 1 star review for this business on 7/14/2022. 30 days later and many more phone calls Teo has not responded in any fashion to fix the drainage issue he created. The BBB has reached out to him twice and he has not responded to them either. Talking to several other people in the neighborhood that contracted him to do work; Teo took their down payment deposits for material, the material was not delivered and he never did show up to do their work. My advice is to beware of this company. After paying in excess of $33,000.00 we, at an additional personal expense, had to hire another company to repair Teo's shoddy work which he refuses to stand behind after he is paid in full. read more

Teo's team worked very hard weeding and trimming our big front yard hill. It was a little more expensive than I had hoped, but it seems to be market appropriate. I plan to hire Teo's again in the fall to do the hill again, and some other yard work as well. Teo is good people. I like him and I feel like I can trust him.
