    Bob charged us for repairs that were never accomplished. None of the properties were "rent ready" as he had promised. Instead, they were full of trash from previous tenants and needed work. Needless to say, Bob is no longer managing our properties.

Everything from we wanted credit checks and no animals...No animals means two very large pitbulls apparently. We kept trusting Bob who was assuring us the tenant was quality. After the tenant burnt our entire first floor he abandoned the house. After months of asking Bob for rent, that he would not pay out we did some research. Found out the tenant had left months ago and Bob no longer had keys or documents of our agreement. He charged us for work they did not do and if it wasn't for our neighbor calling us to let us know the condition we never would have known. Bob still owes us alot of money and will not return calls or send checks with the right amount on them. This has been the worst experience working with any property management ever and I have worked for a HOA company. Extremely un professional and has added more stress to our lives than you can imagine. STAY AWAY! I will be reporting him to the BBB. This company is robbing people.

I have lived in that house, now HOME, for a month now and I still look around amazed that it was all possible. She never failed to meet me within a day and with the market that was so incredibly important and valuable. She remained positive when I started to get worried that we wouldn't find The One in time but never let me get rose colored glasses when we both knew it was going to be settling. When we found The One she worked fast and had all the right tactics to ensure my offer, among the Many, had the best chance it could. I Know I wouldn't be in my dream home today had it not been for Stephanie and her team. From financing with Scott Sievers (who met me in person, masks and all, on close day to make SURE I was confident with the paperwork, THANK YOU SCOTT!) to the clear and comprehensive explanations for each step with Joelle St. Claire, I was more taken care of than I dreamt possible.     We used BHHS Select Properties to help us find our forever home. We found a beautiful property…read moresitting on almost an acre of land in unincorporated Saint Charles. It was the perfect property to create our own little mini farm. The home was an older home with (what we thought were just some cosmetic updates) which we didn't mind having some home projects to make the house our own. Our BHHS agent did NOT do her job and RESEARCH the property. We TRUSTED her to research accordingly and provide us with as much information as possible. During our final walkthrough I noticed some inconsistencies in the walls on the main level of our home. I told her that I think the property had previously flooded. We asked her numerous times to find out if the house had a history of flooding. Our agent reached out to the seller's agent (with Alexander Realty), after several days the agent responded saying that the home flooded ONE time during a fluke event back in 2017. According to what the seller said, FEMA came in, treated the mold and repaired everything to code. LIE!! We bought the home in March 2024. In July 2024 our home flooded. Only then did we find out from our neighbors that our home had an extensive history of flooding. FEMA had paid out 3 previous flood claims and paid the MAXIMUM amount of money for a property. FEMA did NOT come in and do any repairs. They simply gave him a check and he did his own half ass repairs. The flood in July caused THOUSANDS of dollars in damages. We had to rip up all of the floors and bottom half of the walls on the main floor. We lost our kitchen cabinets, appliances, lawn equipment, furniture and countless personal items. Once we tore into the walls we discovered MASSIVE amounts of mold (YEARS WORTH) that we had to have treated. Also after moving in we were dealt with Major plumbing issues. About 2 weeks after moving in our daughter was upstairs taking a bath and water started pouring out of the downstairs ceiling. Plumber came in, said this was definitely an ongoing issue because the pipes were duct taped together!!! The flooding was NOT disclosed (actually the seller marked no regarding flooding on the sellers disclosure) and the known plumbing issues were not disclosed either!! We trusted our agent and BHHS to find out these types of issues. My fiancee and I are utterly heartbroken. Not only are we stuck with a $245,000 home that we will never get back what we owe on it, we are stuck with THOUSANDS of dollars of credit card debt we accumulated while trying to make our home livable again, we are stuck with THOUSANDS of dollars in plumbing repairs, we are stuck with frequent flooding and continuous repairs. Not only are we heartbroken, we are aggravated as hell!!! BHHS Select Properties, Gand Alexander Realty put my fiancee, 3 young children and myself in direct harms way. Not only because of the history of flash flooding but because of the MASSIVE mold issues causing major health issues. The day of the flood in July 2024 two of our kids were home alone for a short time. They called screaming about water rushing in the house. By the time we got to the house we could not reach them because the water was rushing so fast. We had to call the fire department to come rescue them. That was extremely traumatic for all of us. I will never get the sight of two firefighter walking out of the house with our children and two small dogs. We live in constant fear now every time it rains. We are stuck in the worst way!!! We trusted them and they have ruined my families life!!! Thanks A LOT!!!!! MAKE SURE YOUR REALTORS DO THEIR JOBS!!!!!!! Ours didn't and we are paying the consequences for their lack of work!!!
