But my favourite was the chicken, tender breast chicken bits, wrapped in a nut/rosemary/sea salt mixture, with manuka honey sauce. It was freaking delicious. After that, several wines and a rousing debate over local body politics we attacked a dinner. I had a steak and due to my long lasting hate affair with tomatoes, I asked for a different sauce and settled on a red wine jus. What followed was their special triple thickness home cut chips, heavily battered (but not oily) onion rings and one of the best steaks I've tasted.
