I was very disapointed in my appointment , I didn't like Sara did not listen to me. I did not get the all over color that i wanted. They insisted that it should be highlights and the color came out terrible. Also i have short hair and when she went to cut and style she tried to do it like a boys cut. She is extremely professional, kind, and totally understood what my vision was for my hair. She made sure my hair was exactly what I wanted before letting me leave. I have extremely thick hair, and Susan was able to blend my multiple tones flawlessly. She understands the actual science behind coloring and using techniques that are specifically catered to the individual. I cannot say enough positive things about Susan! I've been wanting this haircut for a while, I grew out my hair and waited so it would be perfect length for my desired haircut. I was excited to go to Pomme Salon reading all the good reviews. One of my friends recommend it to me but also told me that they've cut hair way shorter than wanted. I was a little nervous because I've gone to plenty of places for a haircut. They all have either not listened or cut it so short. When I went to Pomme Salon, I had an appointment with Sara, very nice lady. I showed her the pictures and explained how I wanted a longer length for the haircut. Explained I wanted texture and layers for my hair. When I finally saw my haircut when she was done. Keep in mind I've been waiting for 6 months to get a haircut of my liking. It was terrible. Nothing I said was shown. It was so SHORT. My heart dropped. I told myself hair grows back a thousand times but this is ridiculous. My money should go towards something I like. If you want a desired look for you're hair please DON'T GO HERE. I won't ever go here again. Bad time at Pomme Salon. I'm not sure if it was the lady who cut my hair but it's ruined it for me. If you happen to go to Pomme Salon do not ask for Sara. Reading other reviews it looks like the whole place isn't well. read more

She also is wonderful at making you feel welcomed with her genuineness and sense of humor. I've been going to Pomme salon for about a year. I always have a great experience. I leave the salon looking and feeling fantastic every time. So far, Shantell & Susan have been my favorite stylists. I have pretty bad social anxiety, but these two gals have been so warm & welcoming. Apart from being genuinely kind, they are both masters at their craft. You will love what either of them do to your hair. They really pay attention to what you want. They make helpful suggestions if you're unsure about something, but they're not pushy about it. Bonus: When I see Susan, I usually end up learning some interesting new fact about hair science. From the receptionists to the shampooers, everyone here is so wonderful. They all want you to feel comfortable. It's the only salon I think I've ever been to where I know I'm going to have a great experience every time. Not all Aveda salons are created equal and this salon is certainly head and shoulders above any I have been to. Megan, my stylist is a star; funny, warm, great listener with mad cut and color skills. Christina (receprion) hospitable, accomodating and great personality. The shampoo person (sorry, dont remember name) was amazing... I nearly fell asleep in the chair after scalp massage and shampoo! So yes, definitely coming back and referring everyone I know. This is a great salon where these folks know what they are doing, love each other and take excellent care of their clients. read more

When I first walked in I wasn't greeted right away. I felt awkward standing there as Shannon stared at me and when I sat in his chair he didn't say much just wowed my hair. The woman who shampooed my hair was really sweet and made the experience a little better; overall I am satisfied with the haircut but I'm not too satisfied on how I was treated. I felt like a nuisance and a hassle for Shannon and he wears his emotions on his face which plays a huge part in customer satisfaction. My husband talked him up to be this amazingly friendly stylist which sadly I didn't receive the same satisfaction so I will drive an hour away and stick to the salon I usually go to. read more

Having moved a lot, I'm all too familiar with how hard it is to find a great salon in a new area. There are a few things I always think are signs of a great place to go and Pomme had them all. The prices are standard for their senior stylists, which is fair, but they also offer lower rates for junior stylists. So if you're on a budget, this place can still be on your list. They also offer you something to drink if you'd like while you're there and check on you while your color is setting. Excellent hospitality. Been going here for a year. Usually good service. Last visit, I waited 1/2 hour past my appointment time before I was seen. No explanation that they were running behind. I hurried to get there on time after work. If I never hear the Phantom of the Opera music again, it won't be too soon. Listened to it the entire visit. Stylist said it had been playing all day. After being seated, in the middle of my cut and blow dry session, my stylist asked if I minded if she did a bang cut on someone else. My fault for saying No I don't mind, when in fact............are you kidding???? Of course I mind! I already waited 1/2 hr past my own appointment time. She left me with someone else who blew dry my hair beyond being able to be styled the way I like it. Two regrets, not telling her I NO to the bang cut and giving her a tip. Will never go back. Not professional for an Aveda salon or any salon for that matter. Two stars is generous considering I have given this place the benefit of the doubt for a year now.
