For my birthday I wanted to get my hair done (I saved for this) and feel great below the pictures of the style that I have requested and she said it was doable. Discussed her experience and that I was a good candidate for mesh integration. I proceeded with the install which she did not show me, but I thought in my head she wanted to do a reveal so I went with it. It was my birthday and was excited about having a hair style without the exposed thinning crown. midway through she showed me and I saw the exposed hairline on the scalp. She said not to worry because the hair would cover it and she turned me back around and continue with the install as she was cutting the hair I mentioned there's a lot of hair being cut off and nothing. When she finished installing the hair and cutting it and showed me what it look like. my words exactly where that looks funny and she got offended and her energy had shifted at that point I said well I wait till it's fully styled but made a reference to looking like Stuart from Saturday Night Live and she got offended started cutting even more hair and put product in my hair and when she did that, it still looked short (and nothing like the cut I requested) , but I had to leave urgently - I was there from 9 AM to just after 4 PM. Right before I left she had offered to add additional.Wefts so that i could have longer pieces if I was interested which the next day I took her up on the offer. I went back she installed longer wefts. I was happier with longer wefts and left not 100% satisfied, but it looked better than the first appointment. She added the longer wefts on Saturday and come Sunday. I went to bed woke up in the middle of the night in pain. My scalp was tender, and I couldn't sleep. I tried to bear with it thinking maybe I just have to get used to it, but throughout the day, I couldn't focus because my scalp was irritated and tender. Upon lifting the hair I could see the redness and irritation all along where the beads were at, so I sent her a message to advise and of course receive pushback ultimately two days after and I paid over $1000 to have a hair installed for my birthday, I had to have the wefts and beads removed and visited a dermatologist that advised me that was traction alopecia. The natural hair I do have left the cut is uneven. There's a lot of breakage and it will take me years to regrow my hair to a decent length and the hundreds of dollars I spent on PRP injections and caring for my scalp has now gone out the window and I'm embarrassed to be out. I can't have a wig installed as now I have to seek medical treatment (now several hundred more dollars) to rebuild what was destroyed in less than a week. I asked for a refund and she offered to provide me with $360 but offered me that at 8 PM and told me that that offer expired at 8 AM the next morning which of course I did not see until after 8 AM and by the time, I saw the message typed up a response and sent it before noon she never responded back because it was after 8 AM which her timeline was outside of business hours. but respectfully, a haircut and style I didn't even get was priced on her website at $775 and after reviewing all the charges, I pay more than that which means she didn't apply my deposit to that so the hair cost me over 1000. To avoid providing a refund and being accountable, she claimed that I agree to the hairstyle that I got, which is not true and when you look at the picture that I provided and what I got, it is vastly different. Just don't understand how someone could charge more than what's published on their website, not give the person the haircut they want destroy their hair that I walked in with and then not even offered to even provide me a wig to wear to support the regrowth. Instead, I get accused of annihilating and destroying my own hair, which is absurd to say to someone who's already invested thousands of dollars in their hair prior to their appointment and several hundred after. I hope this review helps anybody who has alopecia and is seeking a stylist and maybe my experience will save you from the despair and damage that I went through.

I put down $100 for a deposit and Beatrice assured me it would be applied to the cost of the wig. By the time it was ordered, I was told it was back-ordered but nobody ever contacted me to tell me. I was subsequently scheduled to come in and see Tory (after calling there 3 or 4 times) who stated that the color I specifically wanted was backordered but other colors were not. She pushed me to find another color in the same wig and was not very pleasant about it. When I left, I said to my husband, "I did not like her at all". At one point, Tory even said to me, "You chose that color" when I mentioned my hesitancy about the new color. No, Tory, that was my second choice. Then she quoted me a price of $500 when Beatrice had told me twice it was $375. Tory told me the deposit DOES NOT go toward the cost of the wig. I have spent the last week ruminating over my choice and decided that it was not worth the $100 wig deposit I would forfeit to pay over $350 for my second choice. They can keep the wig or return it but I am going to get the wig somewhere else. Much better experience at LNY salon in Alpharetta. If they truly were an ethical business they would return my $100 deposit. Either these people do not know what they are doing or they are lying outright to get more money from their customers. Addendum: I sent a hand written letter to the owner over a week ago and no response. I guess that shows how much she cares about customer satisfaction and her employees emulate her behavior well.

However, if this review prevents even one woman from experiencing the damage I've experienced, it's worth sharing. I am now two weeks out from the installation, and this is the worst and most damaging extension installation I have ever experienced. I have loose beads throughout my hair, extensions hanging over my ears, and areas that appear to be putting excessive tension on my natural hair. This is not one isolated problem--the issues are occurring throughout the installation. I have attached photos taken two weeks after the install. I paid a significant amount of money for these extensions, but more importantly, my natural hair should not be put at risk because of an improper installation. I am especially concerned for women with fine or thin hair who may not realize something is wrong until significant damage has occurred. I originally came to this salon after my previous stylist left. I ordered approximately $2,000 worth of extensions from the owner, Jen, and specifically requested a balayage look that was a little lighter. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The extensions were ordered several shades too dark, and the order was not placed promptly, resulting in weeks of waiting. On the day of my appointment, which I had intentionally scheduled around a wedding the following day, I was told the extensions would not arrive until after 3 PM. I asked if I could come in later that day, and Jen agreed. While I was at the salon being shampooed by her assistant, Jen called me and told me she was going to be late because she had a "b*tch of a client in her chair." I later she was referring to me and had no idea she called the wrong person. I had never been rude or disrespectful to her--I had simply asked to come in later because of the scheduling issue. Despite that interaction, I proceeded with the installation. When I got home, I immediately noticed how dark the extensions were compared with what I had requested and had concerns about the installation itself. I contacted Jen, and she told me she would no longer see me as a client. Unfortunately, the problem has become much more serious than simply being unhappy with the color or customer service. I would strongly encourage anyone considering extensions here to do their research and be very cautious. Extensions are an investment, and the health of your natural hair should come first. I genuinely did not want to leave a review like this, but after seeing the condition of my hair only two weeks after the installation, I feel other clients deserve to know about my experience.
