Only got SNS on my nails. I love that they soak each individual nail in wrapped foil to take off old SNS polish. I prefer this method vs. putting my whole hand in a sandwich bag, rubbing my nails on a paper cloth and smelling all those fumes. 5 stars already just for the polish removal process. Good selection of colors. I'm super basic and always get some shade of pink. Lots of pinks to choose from. Liked that the nail tech didn't really talk to me until she was finished as I was watching a show on my phone. Nail tech did a really good job on cutting and shaping my nails. She also didn't grind them down so that they feel weak. Love the clean, neat look. A little pricey - $50 + I added a tip. But she did a really good job and I am quite pleased. I'm sure I'll be back to try the pedicures. The nail techs were really taking their time on the individuals getting pedicures.

A technician started on me right away. I needed my old SNS removed, and wanted new SNS. I do wish there were a larger selection of SNS colors, particularly more light shades, but nonetheless I found a color I was really pleased with. The technician took her time removing my old SNS. They use the individual foil wrap method versus the dunking your entire hand in acetone method; I was pleased with that. The nail tech took her time on all aspects of the SNS application and gave me a fabulous manicure as well. The hand/arm massage was amazing. The atmosphere is really nice. I was offered a beverage upon sitting down. I asked for water, but they do have wine should you feel so inclined. They have chandeliers which give it a fancy ambiance, and there are a good number of spa pedicure chairs. Probably the most I've seen in a salon. All in all it was a great experience, and I plan on returning when I need another new SNS set in addition to trying a pedicure. Thank you for a great first experience. I look forward to more!

So I was in the market for a facial, and I googled spas near me and found Salon and Spa Vanessa. I chose it because it was the closest thing to where I was, lucky me. It sits in an old historic home. It's an Aveda spa. This whole place smells amazing. They've got great products. And then obviously, they're a good enough high-quality spa and salon to be able to carry the Aveda line in the first place. I understand they're fairly selective. So I got in same day for a facial, same morning, which was great because I hate waiting. Worked out perfect for me. The facial was great. Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff were warm and welcoming. I picked up my favorite candle, some hand wash, and got a little voucher for some money off my next different treatment since I was a first-time customer, new customer. Parking is free if you're there for the salon. Otherwise, you have to pay behind the building. Really nice experience. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone in the Woodstock area looking for a nice spa treatment.
