I was however handed off to a class B accountant who took a long time to prepare my returns. Despite having all of my documents ready in February my return was not completed until October 16th, the day after the very last day possible because of a special holiday. Now normally I don't mind extending, but her staff were so overloaded they could not deliver until last minute. The worst part was that my taxes were done improperly to the tune of a six figure underpayment. I spent the next year recovering from that mistake. Their lack of ability to complete my returns accurately and on time literally cost me five figured in penalties not to mention the time to recover from not paying what I needed to during the year. Despite multiple requests to do tax planning throughout the year, her staff were not able to make time for me which I believe also contributed to the last minute and incorrect filling. Perhaps I was not high on her client list, but this firm was beyond the worst experience I have ever had with an accountant. I was forced to choose a new provider because my previous accountant changed firms and I could not use them because of a non compete clause. So I had to try someone new. Needless to say, I chose poorly.

Ella and Shante assured me they would send a crew that would do the job for $700 (no carpet or outside windows) before the Realtor's Open House. Instead, 2 nice people, Frank and Sonya, showed up at 11AM. They seemed to work hard but it was an impossible assignment. Then the texts and calls started: the house had too many windows ($15 for cleaning each one, inside only, see picture below), 2 ovens, and the garage is too big. This goes with big houses. When I stopped, the cost was over $1100. The house was not clean, and my wife and I worked at it the next day.

He sent me a quote for a project that was around $1,200, which I approved and sent it to my colleague to pay on her CC. Then, he sent a quote for another $1,000 for the same project, saying we also had to pay for ink and for them to pull the mailing lists. I did NOT approve this, but we went ahead and sent it to my colleague (who paid the initial invoice). I was his ONLY line of communication this entire time, so it's extremely deceptive for him to have sent it to her. He claimed I approved the quote, so I asked for proof of the approval confirmation. He obviously couldn't find it, so the next day he said that my colleague paying was the approval, (even though she was not involved whatsoever and pays what gets sent to her). Regardless, I still moved forward with him on the direct mailer we did since they already had the design, which was a mistake. I approved on Friday, 5/26 and 7 days later, they haven't even began the printing. He then called me a liar and said I approved two days ago -- so I forwarded the email I sent on 5/26 and got no response. I've worked with many Alphagraphics locations across the country and have never had a bait and switch situation like I had here. Todd is extremely deceptive and unprofessional. We have 50+ clients in DFW alone and I was hoping to work with him on our collateral and signage, but I will gladly go to another location. I suggest you to do the same.

The gallery is small, but has lots of interesting paintings.... I came sooooo close to buying one today, and will likely go back and get it if it is still there. The owner greets you when you walk in, and a lot of the art is by members of his family as well as himself.
