I saw another woman get them done while my toes were drying and since I was long overdue decided to give it a shot. I was SO SURPRISED. I've gotten my eyebrows done at so many places and this was BY FAR the best they have looked. I was so impressed and happy with them! Get your eyebrows done here! I will definitely be coming back. The place inside doesn't look the most luxurious and when you get your brows done, you just lean against a pillow against the wall. But I give them 5 stars anyway because my brows have never looked this good! The owner is very chatty and friendly. She made me feel at home.

I went to world nails today with my daughter and granddaughters to get our nails done for my sons…read morewedding. First of all, I wanted my nails an almond shape and they could barely get hem to that shape and they all lined different. My daughters nails were the same and misshapen and then had toy come back to the house and file them. Her toes chipped immediately and had to be repainted while we were still there and then she had to repaint a few of them when she got home. We had to ask for top coat for our toes and ask to have our cuticles trimmed for the manicure and it was extra although we paid for a manicure....so confusing. They told me I couldn't use my credit card and had to go next door and get money out of the ATM. I spent $400 and it was not worth it!!! Do not use this place.

The shop was always a cool place to go, and while they took a while to do hair (whaddya expect, it's a black beauty salon), I'd always leave with the freshest hairstyle imaginable. Alex was the town gossip, but he was a true nail technician - you needed to make an appointment two weeks in advance to see Alex. He provided quality and care for nails, something that you can't really get at the Asian nail shops that just process people left and right. Plus you built a relationship with him; something I definitely think is missing in client/professional services these days.
