Gentleman that took my order was very pleasant. I ordered Spaghetti & Meatballs and selected a table. Order was brought to my table with a very short wait. Ample portion of food. This is our son's go-to place for pizza and wings so we decided tonight to give it a try. It's in an unassuming strip shopping center, but the dining area is spacious and clean. You order at the counter and they bring it to the table. They have a wide selection on the menu but we settled on a small pizza and side salads. I asked for the crust to be extra crispy but not burnt--and it was perfect! We will definitely go there again, especially since our go-to place is now takeout only. read more

What a pleasant surprise. I was exhausted after a long day of driving and I decided to get something quick. I found this place on Yelp. It's in this unassuming little strip mall. It looks as though it's been at this location for about 50 years. I walked in and I was so pleased at how clean the place was. The young man behind the counter was very pleasant and he took my order. They made me a mushroom pizza with extra tomato sauce. It was so delicious. I was hoping it would be a little bit better than pizza from a fast food chain, but this place was three times better than a pizza chain. They've really perfected their crust. Hopefully I remember where this place is next time I'm passing near Greensboro. Be aware that they do charge a 3% fee for credit card use. We Moved to the area 3 years ago. Some friends brought us here on 11/9/24 to have some food and snack on pizza. When the super nice lady dropped off that thin crust NYC style pizza. I was surprised! It was a reminder of the neighborhood pizzeria back home. It's a pretty good gas oven pie. A lot better than 2 more popular establishments we were recommended. I give the pizza props. It was really good. I had the chicken Bella Donna which was pieces of grilled chicken with ham and mushrooms in a creamy pink sauce. I thought it had nice layers of flavor. The sauce could've been less creamy but it wasn't bad at all. I would order it again. I gave the place a 5 because it deserves far better than it's overall score. My friends both had the chicken parm. I sampled the chicken parm. It was a perfectly pounded, seasoned, breaded and fried cutlet. The red sauce that covered it was fresh and was flavorful but not overpowering with salt or herbs. The cheese was melted wonderfully. I would definitely have this in a sandwich soon. My wife had the half rotisserie chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. I tasted the chicken as well. It was well marinated before roasting. The herbs and spices are embedded into the skin giving a delicious flavor. The chicken is kept moist when they put rosemary inside the Chicken. Like I said, this place deserves way better than a 3.5 overall. It's a confusing overall. We talked about it as we ate the wonderful food. The lady who served our food was also great. Another great lunch spot in the Greensboro/High Point side of the Triad! I was introduced to Pollo Pizza Pasta (P3 anyone?! No?) by a coworker because he didn't have much time for lunch and said these guys are fast. They certainly didn't disappoint. Charming little unassuming place where you get the entire look, feel, and taste of greasy spoon Italian. There's one critical question you need to ask yourself before ordering: how much do you really need to function for the rest of the afternoon? The 1/4 rotisserie chicken immediately caught my attention on the menu. I opted for all whIte meat on a Greek salad. 1/2 a chicken is also available, but I didn't have any space on my calendar for a coma. My coworker ordered the same as well as 10 mild wings to split. To my surprise, the salads were still enormous. And very tasty. Italian is their standard Greek salad dressing, and I appreciated that it was more of an oil type dressing instead of the typical tart and tangy Italian. It allowed me to really enjoy the salad without overpowering the flavors of the fresh veggies and delicious rotisserie chicken. The wings were also very good - big meaty quality wings, fried to perfection and slathered in sauce. Not the tiny frozen bat wings that you get at most places these days (I'm looking at you, Hooters). While I was expecting a mild buffalo sauce, this sauce was more BBQ in nature. We couldn't quite figure out what flavor it was trying to be. It was good, but not my favorite. I definitely look forward to trying those wings with some of their other flavors. My only real gripe is that my clothes smelled terrible when we left, like an Italian French fry. The kitchen is actually in the restaurant and not "in the back" like most places. My coworker, who frequents the place, said they must be having an issue with their ventilation. I certainly hope that's the case because if not, that could be a huge barrier to return lunch visits. Five stars....with a caveat. Only eat the pizza Been going here for years and I'll be honest.... it's a shady place. Never busy. Lunch dinner weekends weekdays.... no one. Somehow they've kept their doors open for at least 20 years. Most of the food is garbage and I'm pretty sure it's just a front for something else. Whatever. When the pizza is this good you don't ask questions. True New York-style thin crust that you'll want to fold to eat. It's probably not intentional but the dough is slightly fermented so along with the dusting of coarse semolina gives it that "English muffin" quality. Good cheese. Food was horrible. I ordered Chicken Alfredo today (5/28/19) with a house salad, for take out. Big mistake on my part. The name is Pollo Pizza and Pasta. They need to cut off the pasta part. First the Chicken Alfredo had very little chicken in it. Also very little sauce. But that didn't matter. The noodles were bland, no taste what so ever. They don't season the pasta with salt or anything. The little sauce that was in there was gross. The sauce tasted eggy. Very gross. Under no circumstance should any Alfredo sauce taste eggy. I took five bites and then threw it away. Bbertolli frozen pasta would have been considered gourmet compared to the garbage I was server. I figured I'd just eat the salad. Wrong. The salad had whole sliced rings of onions on top, like they were putting them on a burger. I asked for french dressing, they gave me ranch or some kind of cucumber dressing, which I don't like. I ended up throwing the salad out also because I didn't like the salad dressing they mistakenly gave me. I don't have any other salad dressing at work. Waste of my money and my time. read more

P3 I would consider one of those 'hidden gem' kind of places. I work nearby and have been several times for lunch. I have tasted a good spread of the menu from pizza to subs to entrees, and I have to say, it's all good! I haven't had a slice of true NY style pizza in several years. P3's slices have the size, taste, chew, and grease factor to at least come close to your last slice in the Apple. They do a tasty and huge slice here! I will usually get the 1/4 dark chicken meal w/2 veggies. The rotisserie chicken is go-to here, and it is good. This is a step above your tyipcal grocery store rotisserie bird. It's not overly seasoned, so it has a simple classic taste to it. The skin has a nice crisp texture and keeps the meat tender. The sides are all pretty good. I agree with one reviewer the fried okra is tasty, but even better in my opinion is the fried zucchini! What put this place on the map for me is the Rustic Chicken Sandwich. P3 takes it's rotisserie chicken and adds roasted red pepper and some perfectly caramelized onions and puts it on a crusty soft hogie roll. Some items will take some time (whole pizza, stromboli, etc) while Rotisserie Chicken, pasta dishes, and some sandwiches were out very quickly. They also serve pizza by the slice as a daily special combo with a drink & salad. Pizza(Small with 2 toppings was $8.90) is solid with a nice tasty, thin crust. The cheese on their pizza is not the thicker, stringy kind, not nearly as thick - reminds me on the cheese at Burke Street - but it is tasty. The crust is very nice. The pepperoni on our was rather lightly applied. The Stromboli ($6.99) was very good, could have been great if it had not been somewhat overcooked. It is absolutely loaded with cheese, and a fair amount of meat.The small size here is smaller than other ones I'ver tried in the area. I'll order it again, and request less oven time. The Marinara Sauce was very nice also. The Country Music is more than a little loud, rather irritating at the least. found this place by accident while relocating from NYC/ Hamptons while staying at a hotel close by. The food is fantastic! The pizza is delicious! Just like being in NYC ..the wings are very well done and have a lot of meat on them. I still go and dine there or do take out at least 2 times per month! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who knows and loves good pizza wings and Philly steaks and a Great Salad with delicious rotisserie chicken on top or on the side! The pizza at this place is amazing. I love how you can get the pizza by the slice. The pizza slices are New York style so they are huge. The cheese pizza is only $1.99 per slice and extra depending on the other toppings you add. I would recommend the pizza all day every day. I eat here often for lunch while working. I always get the cheese steak sub which is consistently phenomenal. The meat is tender, the bread is fresh and the cheese is melting hot. I get the combo that comes with fries and a drink. A couple of people in my lunch group get their pizza and salad lunch special. This comes with a side salad and two huge pieces of NY style pizza. It's obviously not too shabby or they wouldn't continue to order this when we go.
