If I can give this place zero stars I would. Not only was the manager rude and wouldn't let me explain myself, she continue to say that her food was fresh daily, and that is a lie. Nopales were sour and chicken was dry like our desert. The drive thru wait time was ridiculous. Buy plenty of toilet paper after. read more

Drive through waiting over 35 minutes is completely unacceptable, regardless of how busy they are. Never again.

Was looking forward to eating at Pollo Feliz we got there at 7:10 pm and walked in to all the chairs on tables as if they were getting ready to close. Sign on door Says they close at 8:00pm. We began place our order and the employee voices we had to take it to go because their lobby was closed. We stated that their hours of operation stated 8pm. To which she had no answer. Disappointed as we were, we decided to eat at another chicken establishment down the street. Needles to say, visitng Pollo Feliz was a very unpleasant experience. read more

The staff was super helpful and friendly. They work so hard and quick! Not to mention the food was so yummy.

My big family came into town for a funeral and we had to order food and the service was great and fast I truly appreciate the service and their kindness :) I would give more stars if I could . read more

Wow, their chicken is so moist w/ a superb charcoal grilled flavor. I don't particularly like the sides offered w/ the meal. A small salad in lieu of rice or charro beans is an up charge. Unfortunately, there is only one of these in ElPaso. Yum, that chicken is flavorful, moist and delicious! read more

Wow this chicken was the bombbbbbbbbbbb and we were so happy to see that there was a char broiled chicken place in the area! It was empty when we arrived and so the cashier quickly came to the front and took our order. We ordered two number twos which included one leg and one thigh, two small sides, a drink, two tortillas, and anything from the never ending salsa bar. We asked if we could have two legs instead of the thighs but the cashier said no, there are no substitutions, boo. Our food came out rather quickly as we were still at the salsa bar when the cashier came out with our food. How was the food? The chicken was to die for! The skin was crispy and the inside was hella juicy! It had so much flavor, omg yum. The sides were also great as the red Mexican rice was cooked to perfection and the beans tasted really good too. The corn tortillas (you can get corn or flour) were definitely hand made and bigger then your regular sized corn tortillas. The salsa bar had grilled jalapeños, regular jalapeños, cooked onions, raw purple onion slices in lemon, salad, croutons, cucumbers, and ranch just to name a few! The restaurant is pretty big, clean, and there are plenty of places to sit. They also have a drive through and that I noticed was pretty busy. Prices are ok and the taste of the food is great. It definitely has that home cooked meal flavor in it! We spent about $18 for two. read more

This food was way too good. My family and I are big Pollo Tropical fans in South Florida and we were looking for some good chicken in El Paso. This restaurant was better than any Pollo Tropical we've been to, highly recommended! read more

Went to El Paso for a concert and my friend, who is from Chihuahua, was raving about Pollo Feliz and how it's authentic Mexican pollo asado. We decided to try it out & when we got there, they were having technical difficulties, which pushed the location to open the restaurant late. We waited an hour and then went back-- IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. We walked in and the entire place smelled like a flavorful chicken heaven. The tortillas were freshly made, the salsa bar offered the works: cebollita curtida, cebollitas asadas, chiles toreados, salsa, limón, jalapeño curtido, naranjas, pepino, freshly fried tortilla chips, and salad. I highly recommend this place. #MexicanStampOfApproval read more

I ordered take out on one of your family chicken orders. That was a great deal. First, it was delicious. 3 adults ate a complete dinner. I packed 1 man's lunch for my husband and I packed a leftover plate which was eaten by my daughter later that day. All for less than $25! Thanks, Lucy read more

Amazing chicken,, but take out orders need to be verified, as items are sometimes left out by accident, esp if you order extra salsa. It IS pricey, for chicken, but the flavor of the meat and the amazing flour tortillas are worth the trip. It's hard to believe that a restaurant in this day and age has neither an online menu nor take-out menus nor the ability to fax a menu, but this is true for Pollo Feliz. Therefore, it is my pleasure to present you, oh public, with photos of their menu board. Enjoy! read more

So I love grilled chicken and I recently found this place and it's pretty good but if you're willing to wait 30 minutes for some food then it's definitely for you. I don't think I'll come here ever again read more

After waiting about a year and a half to come here, a large group of us got together and came here. Such a huge hype that I wasn't as impressed with this place as I thought I would have been. Happy chicken. No no. Sad chicken. Maybe it was the group I was with, I should get a different group together and maybe it would be a better experience. read more

This is the best chicken in my opinion in El Paso. Love this place. Reason I only gave 2 stars is due to wait time. I ordered on drive thru and waited for 1 hr to get food. This place needs to get better prepared if they plan on having drive-thru window. Besides the wait very happy with food. read more

Great chicken and the BEST CORN TORTILLAS IN EL PASO! And you know me, I've never been one for superlatives. I only recently discovered Pollo Feliz after no longer being able to satiate my cravings for El Pollo Loco with KFC's "grilled" chicken (that's right, I don't think its really grilled), and I'm completely hooked. I am even going to go as far as to proclaim Pollo Feliz to be the best pollo asado I've ever had. Hear me out people, I know what I'm talking about: the chicken at Pollo Feliz tastes great, on par with the best El Pollo Loco I've had. What puts it over the edge is the superior sides. Pollo Feliz serves the best corn tortillas in El Paso, period. Kind of odd for a town that by law has to have at least 3 Mexican restaurants in every corner, but that is just the way things are. On top of that, PL gives you pickled red onions with every order, and they are delicious! Combine them with their amazing tortillas and its perfection. Their salsa is rather generic, but that is forgivable. Finish it off with one if their delicious flans and you've got yourself a 5-star meal, amigos! Not that it matters comparing Pollo Feliz to El Pollo Loco, since there isn't one in this town, wonder if its afraid of something... Drive-thru available for maximum convenience! read more

Pollo Feliz - Look for this place! - Mexican Near Me - El Paso, Texas

This is the the only place I know of in El Paso to get Pollo Al Carbon. The freshly mesquite roasted chickens are available in various sized portions, and not only are they economically priced with various sides included, the chicken is juicy, well seasoned, mouth watering goodness. They offer free garnishes and salad, even if you are just splitting a 3.99 plate of two burritos with someone. And if that doesn't sound like enough food, let me tell you, no matter what we order here? It is consistently delicious and we are never hungry when we leave. The chicken burrito plate is now my go-to item. Not only is the chicken well-manicured, they grill it up with caramalized onions and chiles. It is absolutely delicious. The fresh pico de gallo and chips, the free iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, pickled red onion, whole caramelized roasted onions and torreados (fried or roasted jalapenos) along with escabiché (pickled jalapeños) Ranch dressing, salad croutons and orange wedges mean that you will never leave Pollo Feliz hungry. They also serve a delicious gelatina de cajeta with pecan pieces inside, and creamy good flan. read more

Like their food, but their serves is poor. They tried to give me some of the food that was canceled, while I was watching them transfer it to a new box. That food had been sitting on the counter before I got there and while I was there l. It took them like 15 minutes to give me my order. read more

The chicken is soooo dry! And the sides are even worse. I ordered beans and corn but the beans were nothing but water and the corn had no taste. The place looks very unkempt and dirty. I would rate this place higher but the staff was not trained in customer service. I walked in, ordered my food and they were taking a long time. After they see me standing waiting they ask to see my receipt which I show them, they give me the wrong order which I noticed at home. I was very upset and tried calling the number on the receipt with no answer. I drive back through rush hour traffic to their place and tell the staff that they didn't give me the extra chicken that I ordered. They start interrogating me like if I was trying to scam them out of what I paid for. I showed them the receipt, a picture of what was in the container and they still asking me 21 questions. I just wanted them to make it right, give me what I paid for and leave. They have like 8 people working the kitchen and made a mistake. Instead of listening to loud music, laughing, and eating on the job like I noticed them doing, make sure customers are taken care of. To easy! When they finally give me my chicken and get home, I noticed I never got my order of rice. They gave me 2 orders of beans. ‍ read more

Pollo Feliz - This was apparently 2 chickens! Smh!! - Mexican Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I was very pleased with their food and their sides. The chicken wasn't dry and the Mexican rice tasted homemade. The corn on the cob was a little tasteless, but my boys loved it. The flour tortillas were also good. I was a little disappointed in their customer service. We got their a little late, which may be as to why they seemed a little rushed. But I did enjoy the food. read more

This is what El Paso needed. The flavor of this chicken is non ending with every bite you take. They have specials on Tuesdays, Thursday's, & Saturday's. A salad bar with chips, steamed whole onions, navel oranges & chiles toreados. I've had this place twice within the same week and don't get overwhelmed. When on the east side of town, must try. read more

The best char grilled chicken I have had! The Tortillas were freshly made while your order is being prepared. You will not be disappointed!

This is the way to eat chicken! Pollo feliz has mastered the art of "pollo asado". Once you get over the perfectly seasoned grilled chicken you realize the tortillas are home made. They're beans are bomb and the salsa salad bar is on point. Hold on to your wallets! You can get it cheaper but not better read more

This place used to be great but recently went and was greatly disappointed. I've made several large orders and always have issues with salsa ordering and purchasing. I had to take one bags full of mini salsa containers. read more

Four stars for chicken. No stars for customer service. When I walked up to order everyone continued to work without greeting or telling me it will be 5 minutes before we serve you. Great product really fresh food but very poor service and extremely long waits, such a shame.

Great tasting chicken. A little pricey for the portions that are served, and they fraudulently advertise that your purchasing chicken thighs when in fact they are serving chicken backs which have far less meat on them. I could've tolerated that except for the worst customer service in the world, especially at night after 7:00 PM. Whatever you do don't go through the drive-thru. The speaker barely works and you'll wait for at least 30 minutes before you get your food. A very poorly trained staff who could care less if you come back or not. read more

I came in from out of town to visit family and seen that this restaurant was new and by the signage and other reviews on yelp thought I'd bring my family here.. (the in Socorro) people compared it to El Pollo Loco. Which is realllllllly good. So we went and first when we walked in we almost walked out... but we decided what the heck let's just try it. We all thought it was over priced, but we ordered. And let me just say the food by far is nothing compared to El Pollo Loco. Thats an insalt to that conpany. Pollo Feliz has no flavor at all the chicken was so blan not an ounce of flavor. The guacamole also didn't have any flavor. The slasa bar was good but not the salsa... the cucumbers, grilled jalapenos those were great... the rice was very dry and the corn had no flavor. Guess i could've just said it in a shorter way......NO FLAVOR IN ANY OF THERE FOOD!!! It was a waste of our money i would never come back even if it were free.. very very very disappointing if i could give it zero stars i would read more
