Was driving and noticed this place and remember hearing about it in some publishing . So decided to try it out ! Order the family 8pc meal which they let you mix fried or grilled chicken, both were amazing ! They have a rewards program I suggest you join b4 ordering to receive a $10 perk on your next order . This sides are great , I ordered the plantains that where much better than Pollo Tropical ! Also ordered the Campero Beans kinda spicy but flavorful . And the French fries were amazing ! I was curious about this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. I had the 2 pieces grilled with 2 sides (Rice & Coleslaw) and a drink, the chicken you have the option to order it campero style (Grilled or Fried). They have a variety of options like tenders, bowls, salads, chicken sandwiches, various sides, and family meals. Service was ok not overly friendly, but if you do not speak Spanish there was a bit of a barrier with some customers that did not. food is good and if you are looking to get chicken it's a good spot. read more

I had never heard of this fast food restaurant before and decided to drive through for lunch. I had the 2 Piece Meal - $9.60 with Fried Chicken (breast and wing), mac and cheese side and tortilla instead of roll. The chicken was a bit overcooked and so was dry. The flavor was good, but the breading too thick. The mac and cheese was just ok. It was a bit watery which is odd. The 2 tortillas were small plain corn, and dry. They were tearing and had no flavor. I thought they would be like Pollo Tropical, but they were not. I will try it again, but only to try the grilled chicken and dinner roll. I would not order the fried chicken again. I love fried chicken - Popeyes spicy is my favorite, so for me, I just didn't love it. But again, I will try the grilled. Its fast and very convenient so I hope the grilled is good! read more

The food is tasty but the service is terrible and our orders have been wrong each time we have ordered. We have been or ordered for delivery 4-5 times and each time they have never gotten the order right. We get home and items are missing or they make substitutions without asking if we would be ok with the substitutions, unacceptable. read more

So I went again to Pollo Campero the other day, hoping to get a better experience than my first time. I had it all planned out, I was going to order extra sauce and extra pickles on my sandwich, and order the yucca fries instead of the regular fries. The first indication that this may not meet my expectations was when I ordered the chicken sandwich, the lady at the register told me they were out of pickles. What a disappointment! It's not like I was there late in the day, I was there shortly after 11 AM. so, instead, I ordered a two piece meal with a breast and a wing, and the yucca fries. I really don't like dealing with chicken bones, and I especially don't like super greasy chicken. You can see from the picture I posted where the bottom of the container was literally wet from the oil from the chicken. And I had dined in, sat down right after they gave me the food. Wasn't a fan of the chicken, between the greasiness and having to deal with the bones instead of a nice boneless sandwich like I had originally wanted. The yucca fries were OK, they did have flavor, unlike the regular fries, however, not enough to make me want to come back to get them again. And the kicker was when I turned around to leave the counter with my food, a lady walks in with the pickles that were destined for my chicken sandwich! Of course, nobody offered to swap out my food for what I really wanted. I didn't really expect that, however, that would've been really nice. I really want to like this place! I'm thinking of giving it one more try, hopefully they'll have the pickles for their chicken sandwich and I can get the yucca fries or some other side order. read more

This is more of an in and out dining experience but let me tell you...the food was so flavorful! Absolutely mouthwatering delicious! This place will definitely be giving Pollo Tropical a run for its money. Service was exceptional from the moment we walked in to the time they cleared our table. The employees had that very hospitable Hispanic treatment where you just felt like you are part of the family. The restaurant itself was very clean and easily accessible. I asked for the Campero salad and reiterated it twice to the limited English speaking server but she kept shaking her head and saying bowl, bowl. Additionally, I ordered a diet soda and she kept saying not included...,I just gave up even though I didn't care about the additional cost. Since I was holding up the drive thru line, I took the food and left. I got home and of course had the bowl and not the salad. I didn't care for it but it may have just been my taste preference. I decided to go in because it was my first time and I didn't want to feel rushed in the drive thru while looking at the menu. First of all, the staff was not very welcoming. I ordered and when I asked a question I felt like I was bothering them. It wasn't like it was busy there was only one customer beside myself in the restaurant. When I received my meal and looked inside the bag I had not received utensils or napkins. I had to go back in to ask for some.
