Maybe I need to try the roasted chicken. I got the nugget meal. Fries had potential but they were cold. No roll was given, but it was part of the meal. The chicken I expected it to have more flavor but it is nice quality chicken pieces. The campero sauce is not for me. Like a rip off of Cane's sauce but Cane's is better. I wouldn't be down any other doors to come here again. I would eat here again, but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

Only been to a Pollo Campero once before and wasn't impressed. However, my experience at this location will have me coming back again and again when in the area. This place was very clean. Service was extremely helpful and they bring the food to the table after you place your order ;-). I had the spicy chicken sandwich with a plantain. Both were cooked to perfection. I love to add hot sauce to my food and their house green hot sauce is top notch, also available for sale. I'll def be back!! read more

Now that I've eaten here a couple of times, and my father was pleased with his chicken sandwich, I'm prepared to weigh in. The restaurant is tucked back in the new shopping center in Jurupa Valley, just past In-n-Out when entering from Pyrite. A large parking lot should accommodate any vehicle, and there's also a drive-thru option. The interior is clean and spacious with booths and tables of various sizes, so that's good for big families. Ordering is also quick and easy. I've only tried their fried chicken, but after a 3-piece and sides, and a 2-piece with the revamped rice (other sides tried were macncheese and potato salad), I am a fan. Dad's sandwich was pretty big, especially the chicken itself. He said he'd come back again, which is basically an endorsement from him. I concur, the place is solid. Service is friendly, professional, and pretty fast on both occasions. I'm interested in their grilled chicken option, and trying more on the menu in general. read more

Customer service is poor and off putting, not to mention how overpriced the food is for the quality you're receiving. Went about twice and never looked back. read more

For being a fast food restaurant for fried chicken it's always super consistent really good flavor and juicy

Decided to try this place for the first time after picking up my kid from the school nearby. Went thru the drive thru so I don't know how it looks inside. Service seemed nice . I ordered a family meal. The fried chicken was Ok. The fries were very stale and seemed old. The coleslaw feels like it needs something not sure what , maybe less liquid. The beans are ok but maybe too much cumin . The rolls were disappointing. Would I come back here ? Probably not. I was not very impressed sadly read more

I've been to Pollo Campero before and usually enjoy their empanadas they're actually really good when they're fresh, but lately they've been hit or miss. Sometimes they come out burnt, which is disappointing. Today I came with my mom and went through the drive-thru (I haven't dined inside yet). We ordered the 4 -piece meal with a side of yuca fries and rice. The chicken was tasty overall, but definitely on the salty side borderline too much. The rice was unfortunately bland with no seasoning or flavor. The biggest letdown was the yuca fries. They were hard to eat literally. Either they were overcooked or had been sitting out too long, but they were super tough and dry. To top it off, we didn't get any napkins or utensils in our bag. We were eating in the car, so I actually had to make a spoon out of the fry container just to eat the rice. Not exactly what I had in mind . There wasn't much of a greeting or friendliness at the drive-thru either not rude, but definitely not warm. I live nearby and really want to like this place. But between the inconsistent food and the lack of care in service, it's just hard to keep coming back. read more

Tried this chicken for the first time a few weeks ago at a party and really enjoyed it. When I saw this location up and running had to stop by and see if the quality was just as good. Walking in on a weekend the place was packed! No indoor seating was available. There's also umbrella patio seating but it was a bit too hot outside. Friendly welcome and great service. Management was present and in the trenches alongside this hard working team. The staff had a lot going on and all were working together to man this ship! Ordered to go and was pleased to find the chicken was just as juicy with a crispy exterior. Yucca fries are not common so happy to see it as a side option. Had to get some Mac & Cheese in the mix and try some empanadas. The empanadas reminded me of a flauta or chimichanga. Melty cheese, chicken, corn with a nice seasoning. Could definitely use some salsa or spice of your choosing. Overall great first visit! New places need some grace. They're getting a hold of the reins, finding their footing, learning from mistakes and getting into their groove. It's understandable for more than a few hiccups upon start up. I hope they can move forward with gusto! read more

My wife and MIL stumbled upon this place this week while out shopping in Riverside. We could smell the food from a few stores down and had to try it out. I got the bowl and had to order a side of sweet Plantains too. Everything was so GOOD. The chicken was juicy. My daughter got a side of Mac n Cheese with her meal and loved it. My wife and MIL both enjoyed their 2 piece combo as well. Our food came out quickly and staff checked in on us throughout our visit. In addition we filled out a survey and got two pieces of chicken FREE for each survey filled out. So that will be lunch tomorrow. LOL. We definitely will be back!! read more

The service was excellent. We used the coupons that was sent to us in the mail. The chicken nuggets are good, just somewhat dry because it's all white meat. Wish it was more crispy. The leg & thigh combo was delicious! Clean restaurant but we also didn't eat inside, we bought it togo. Their campero sauce is ok. I liked their buffalo sauce better. Their yuca fries wasn't what we expected either. Too sweet read more

Very dirty inside sad part is it was not busy Food is over rated very burnt and salty. Cashiers very rude read more

Customer service totally sucks here. No greeting, chaotic ambience, everyone seems like they are in a rush... almost like they just want you to go away. Oh but their staff on break eating their pollo campero meal outside in their patio was sure pretty patient and at ease, eating calmly and peaceful. Matter of fact, she was the only calm person there. And they are out of napkins on a Friday early evening (7pm)...how? Who is in charge of inventory here? Bc they suck too! Stock up for the weekend bro!! read more

Very salty and not too much flavor going on. Staff took awhile to even come to the front was waiting over 10 minutes. I ordered the 3 piece with the Mac&cheese and Yucca Fries. Very bland nothing crazy not memorable we not be back. read more

Terrible,I love the food but we ordered food and told us to wait in the parking lot ,waited for 30 min and we pull up at the window asking for our order and they said they must have given it to someone else.Waited another 5 min and they gave us our order but not the correct sides,we got fries, coleslaw and bread, when we wanted fried banana and tortillas. They only apologies and not even a free drink or anything for there mistake,Definitely dissatisfied, they need better staff/employees. I frequented this spot for amazing food and fast service but not anymore,I rather go elsewhere and not die of hunger ,and still not get my order correctly! read more

Tried this place 2 times. Got 3 Empanadas the first time. Had bones in them. Disgusting when you bite and crush a bone. 2 of the 3 were like that. Gave them another try although this time I figured I try the chicken sandwich, after all how can you screw that up. The plantains were good. The chicken had fat all along the bottom. Like when you bite, it's like a rubber band, it stretches till "snap". Another big turn off. Lost confidence in this place. Don't know if it's all locations or just this Jurupa location but I'm not willing to blow $15 to find out again. read more

Food is pretty tasty! Fried chicken has good breading, grilled chicken still has real, satisfying flavor and juiciness. The reason for the 3 stars is that every time I've visited the drive thru, they've left out part of my order, missing some sides/sauces. read more

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant today. As soon as I walked in, I noticed flies inside, which already made me feel uncomfortable about eating there. When I went to grab Horchata, the container was empty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly. there was old Horchata just sitting at the bottom just foamed up It looked gross and completely unappetizing. The service was just as disappointing. The lady who took my order didn't greet me or say a single word unless I spoke first. I had to ask her everything, what my total was, if they had certain items, there was no effort to engage or make the experience pleasant. Overall, I left feeling uncomfortable, unwelcome, and unsatisfied. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to others. read more

Is good but not that good for that price it is to expensive for chicken -si esta bueno pero no por ese priecio por pollo

Chicken was crusty & dry (felt like i was back in the mid-70's eating Pioneer Chicken, if you know). Service was mediocre, 5/10 at best. Environment was crowd overkill. Guess this would be a compliment for first time, since this is the Grand Opening. Any takes read more

I've been here a couple of times now and I can understand some of the negative reviews here but I believe it's because it's still a new place, let them find their groove. I have gotten items missing before or I ordered on the app and when I went to pick up, it wasn't ready. Also waited long in drive thru lines. In my opinion the more recent times I visited, they improved all that. Aside from all that, the chicken itself I LOVED. Both fried and grilled chickens were great but personally I would stick to just the chicken sandwich here. They also have some of the best mac n cheese I've ever got from a fast food joint. So my suggestion? Just like the photo I added, get a chicken sandwich combo with Mac n cheese, add Mac to sandwich then you have an amazing meal! read more

Came here with my family to get dinner. While the food was decent, my experience was not. The drive-thru was closed, so I went inside, where I waited about 25 minutes for my order. There were five employees working that I could see and not many customers, but most of them seemed more focused on chatting with each other than helping guests. I work in customer service too -- I totally understand talking with coworkers, but it's also important to keep things moving. They were literally just standing there talking with each other. The bathroom really needed attention -- the toilet was dirty and the space didn't feel clean. I know these things can happen, but I won't be back to this location. read more

This Pollo Campero is very new and it's horrible! Their chicken is good but they never have enough prepared, especially grilled. Every time I've gone through the drive thru, they have to check if they have enough pieces of chicken ready to go. Not to mention, the horchata was horrible, it tasted like chalk! I told myself I would not go back but I was kind of desperate recently. I pulled up to the drive thru and ordered a chicken bowl, the worker said they no longer offer that. I then asked for a salad, the worker responded they do not have salad. At this point, I ended up saying forget it and leaving. I will never go back to this establishment. read more

We decided to try them out for the first time. We were hesitant because they seemed overpriced, but it was just the wife and I so we gave it a shot. Food is fine, but expensive, however they took quite some time and forgot multiple items in our small order. Ordered nuggets with a side and roll. They forgot the roll. Wife ordered a sandwich and a chicken thigh, they forgot the chicken thigh. Called customer service and they basically told us to go back to the restaurant and while there to call back so they can help us get our missing items. Really?? Forget it, we will just never go back read more
