I order online from Pittsburgh. Online ordering is simple & fast. You can include a personalized note. Each arrangement has been fresh & lasted over a week or more. Delivery fee is $15. If you live locally, obviously you can pick up at the store. I add a small tip for the flower arranger too. Total was about $70 with tax & tip. I have preferred this company as opposed to larger floral shops or national companies, whose flowers did not last as long and we're not as fresh and sometimes even cost more. Tara has an EXTREMELY poor attitude and a long reputation of poorly talking to clients either in person or on social media. She insists that she has FULL CONTROL over your event, and we never allowed to pick or choose the flowers for our own wedding. Instead, we were told that she buys items in bulk, and "I can't control Mother Nature". Our wedding is on a Sunday so it was obvious Tara was only planning on using scraps and left over items from the weddings before ours. After all, she ONLY buys in bulk to do a handful weddings at a time. He emails were very negative and for a person who should be the happy flower vendor is only full of negative comments. We told not to talk to her and let her do her own thing. Just roll over and pay her with no idea what we paid for. We NEVER received a written plan and details of the florals she was planning. As far as an itemized list and pricing, IT NEVER CAME. There are plenty of other flower vendors to choose from that will be transparent with you and work WITH YOU. Tara on the other hand wants to be paid thousands of dollars without a plan, details and to be "left alone" to do whatever the heck she wants to short cut so she can line her pockets with money she historical over charges for. She is being sued.....

So I would not be surprised if I'm her next victim. The following are just a few examples of what went so very wrong. Which, could of easily of been fixed by Tara if she actually followed through with the contract. - The best man's boutonniere needed to be fixed several times before the ceremony. It was falling off during the ceremony. It completely broke before the wedding reception. - The groom's boutonniere needed to be fixed before the ceremony. It also broke before the reception. - The father of the bride's boutonniere started falling apart and needed to be fixed. - The mother of the groom's wrist corsage fell apart before the reception. - The mother of the bride's wrist corsage also started to fall apart. It was not done how we discussed it would be, with Tara , prior to our wedding. - The mother of the bride , corsage Tara made was 3 buds glued to an ivy leaf, which was glued to a wide satin ribbon. Which fell apart prior to the reception. - No boutonniere made for my brother. It was a corsage instead. We asked Tara for help fixing this mistake. To which she replied and I quote "no". We had to make the corsage into a boutonniere an hour before the wedding ceremony. Tara was told of the errors that were made, the day of my wedding. To which she had no solution, and we were left trying to figure it out on our own. The quality we were promised was not fulfilled. We were left greatly disappointed. The talent Tara has is amazing, but corners are cut. The potential is there, but the poor attitude and AWFUL customer service is not worth it.

I e-mailed a few people, and Melissa was the first one to get back to me. We were married in July 2011 and worked extensively with Melissa and her assistant Katie. At our first meeting I was unsure if a wedding planner was really necessary. We live in Maryland and were having our wedding near my family in Lancaster County. After we spoke with Melissa and Katie it was clear we needed a wedding planner. We didn't quite realize everything that went into planning a wedding, and were confident that they were the people to help us. Melissa helped us find a venue and all of our vendors. She also negotiated between us and the vendors and negotiated our contracts. Trust me- you need Melissa. The last thing you want to do is negotiate contracts before your big day. Since we live out of state Melissa also gave us a few suggestions for vendors and coordinated meetings. We wanted vendors who loved their job and were good at it, and Melissa found us those people. We never would have found those quality vendors if we hadn't been working with Melissa. She also helped us find vendors that were better and cheaper than the most expensive vendors. She knew exactly where to go from flowers to cake to buying a dress to getting the dress altered! Melissa and Katie made the lead up to the wedding and the wedding day run smoothly. Her and Katie answered e-mails quickly and they received many e-mails from me regarding anxieties about the big day and our plans. They made sure our wedding day was stress free. We had such a great time that we are ready to do it all over again next year. I would recommend working with Melissa for a small wedding to a big wedding to an upcoming event.
