Beautiful flower arrangements every time! No matter what the occasion may be - the flowers are fresh and beautiful!

We spent over $4,000 with this shop for my daughter's wedding on June 25. My daughter's wedding bouquet was beautiful. Unfortunately the shop neglected to de-thorn all the roses and she had cuts on her wrist as well as fingers from holding her bouquet. I contacted the shop owner and sent a pic of the cuts on her wrist and fingers. The response was this is not how we normally do things and to accept our sincerest apologies?? De-thorning roses for a bouquet is floral 101 and a pretty big detail to overlook. Honestly the brides fingers were bleeding but we are so sorry?? We also were missing one of the seven groomsmens' boutinerres. read more

I had a horrible experience with blue moon florist. I hosted a rehearsal dinner for my sons wedding. Called ten days in advance to order the flowers to be delivered on the day of the event. They sent three 6x6 arrangements that were closed up tight. The flowers were horrible. I was embarrassed. Not one person said the flowers looked nice because they did not. I recently received a flower arrangement made and delivered by Blue Moon. The theme was fall and it was filled with weeds that I see growing on the roadside and two lilies that weren't opened yet. In a few days, one yellow and two orange lilies opened. It was never pretty and really disappointing because they used such cheap, dull plants. While green is my favorite color, I like more than that in a flower arrangement. read more

I used Blue Moon Florist for my wedding. I was very happy with my GORGEOUS flowers, but I had a bumpy time getting to that point. I was a bit thrown off at first because when I went in (I had made a consultation reservation online), they didn't have my appointment on file (it hadn't gotten transferred to the paper book). I'm also really not a girly girl so I went in with a few very general ideas I had pulled out of a magazine, and expected to be involved in a consultation. Unfortunately, those expectations weren't really met and I ended up having to just find a picture online of a bouquet I liked and emailing them later to tell them what I wanted for my flowers. They didn't really help me at all. There were also some issues with things added to my bill, but the staff took the time to sort these things out with me over the phone in a very professional manner. Also, upon delivery, two of the corsages that were supposed to be wrist were delivered as pin ons. They offered to take them back and correct them, but by that point the time was almost upon us and we made do, which wasn't a big deal, but I was a little disappointed. In the end, everything came out wonderfully. The bouquets were gorgeous and replicated from my photo perfectly, and my centerpieces were equally beautiful. I would recommend Blue Moon Florist to the bride who knows what she wants, but definitely double check things before the big day! read more

I was extremely disappointed in Blue Moon and would not recommend their services to anyone. I ordered an arrangement for my mothers 85th birthday. She lives at an assisted living facility. I was told that a morning delivery would cost $14.95. I agreed to pay this. My expectation was that the flowers would arrive by 9 am. I wanted my mothers birthday to start off with other residents recognizing her and her big day as they left breakfast. The flowers did not arrive until close to 11:30. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with their fulfillment of my order the owner got on the phone with me. Rather than apologizing for the confusion, his response was that , "It was still morning, and what was the big deal?" I was appalled by his total lack of concern for my customer experience. read more

I ordered a dozen roses for our 35th Anniversary. They arrived fine but seemed a little wilted on the second day. We called and Blue Moon and immediately said they would replace them. We were not really looking for that response, but they wanted to stand by their product. I have used Blue Moon for many years without any issue and still have no issues. CLASS ACT! I have been using this florist for a number of years to send a very special gift. The arrangements are always absolutely beautiful. This year, Blue Moon Florist accidentally delivered my gift too early. When they realized this mistake, they instantly offered to resend the arrangement on the exact date requested. The staff that I worked with was amazingly helpful and sincerely apologetic for the error. I would highly recommend using this florist. We have used Blue Moon for many years, but recently, our experience has been very unsatisfying. I asked about the service charge for delivery and received a call from the owner. This call did nothing to convince me to continue the deliveries. I finally had to terminate the call since the same conversation did no good and I was simply having to hear over and over the same message. I have since cancelled the order and found many businesses in the area who were eager to have a regular customer. I was not treated with respect from Blue Moon and I'm glad to move on. read more

We decided not to use Blue Moon for our wedding. BEWARE people. The practice they use is deceptive. I gave a deposit for the flowers, then decided that we did not want to use them for many reasons. They are refusing to refund our deposit and said it states it in the contract. BEWARE you are never given a copy of the contract until you hand over your money first!! If this is the kind of practice they do, then they should tell a customer BEFORE they hand over their money that deposits are non refundable. They did NOT do this. This is deceptive practice. I would never do business with a company uses this kind of practice. BEWARE of this business. I would hate to see others get taken for their money. We are so impressed with Blue Moon's work for our wedding! Our consultant was Sammy, and she did a great job walking us through everything we would need in helping us create a vision. It wasn't very floral - just a few fat, blush garden roses here and there; mostly eucalyptus, wheat stalks, and other non-floral natural elements - but it all came out GORGEOUS. And everything is drying out perfectly!! The bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, flower girl crown, ceremony arch, and cake adornments were all really affordable, too. Not happy. At all. When we initially met with Ami, I felt comfortable and confident that she understood our vision for our wedding day. We talked about a specific color scheme and specific flowers, and I was really happy with what we had dreamed up. White, blush, dusty miller, seeded eucalyptus, garden roses, ranunculus, lisanthus, hydrangeas, and touches of silver brunnia. Fast forward to our wedding day in January, and things were not so great. Upon arriving at the venue, I saw PURPLE flowers being unloaded from the truck and my heart sank. The centerpieces had purple flowers in them, and I mean purple...nothing remotely close to blush. I was super upset. My sister in law instructed the delivery people to bring them back to the shop and fix them. To my surprise, when I arrived downstairs in the bridal suite, all of my bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages were exactly as expected. They were beautiful, but there was a HUGE disconnect between those items and the centerpieces. A girl from Blue Moon eventually came back down to the bridal suite to show me a picture of the altered centerpieces. They had pink flowers in them...PINK, not blush. She asked me if they were okay, and I said "not really," but at this point what else could be done? She also informed me that the wrong flowers were delivered to them...so even though they knew they were wrong, they still used them anyway!! No one even called me to consult or ask me what they should do. I would have told them to just make everything white instead of using purple flowers. Ami and I had discussed some variation in the centerpieces - I was okay with different ratios of white to blush and they did not have to be identical. Well, it looked like half the centerpieces came from one shop, and the other half came from another shop...and they already did not look anything like they belonged with the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages. My first issue was that they were OVERWHELMED with greenery. We had discussed dusty miller and seeded eucalyptus, but there was just SO much greenery in them. I paid for FLOWERS! Some of them had tulips...we never talked about tulips. And NONE of them had silver brunnia in them!! I loved the silver brunnia as a wintery touch and they were not in one centerpiece. Half of the centerpieces were nothing but hydrangeas and pink roses. Mounds of hydrangeas and protruding pink roses. They looked sloppy, and like they had been put together by an amateur. The other half were okay...they had a variety of flowers and were a little neater but they were still not what I wanted. I expressed my disappointment to Ami, and she didn't have much to say. She said she was sorry that I "wasn't happy with the color they used" (which was nothing NEAR the color we discussed) and she was sorry that I was upset. She refunded me $300 which was only a small fraction of what we paid for the flowers. Overall, disappointing experience and I would never use them for anything again. At the end of the day I wasn't going to let it ruin my wedding, and the show went on and everything was wonderful. But in retrospect, the flowers still make me mad. read more

I had an amazing experience dealing with Ami in ordering our wedding flowers. First of all with our wedding package at Hershey's Mill our table arrangements were included through Blue Moon Florist. Our options were amazing. We chose a break-away arrangement so all the ladies at each table were able to take away a tiny arrangement of our flowers. I thought it was such sweet detail. Our wedding had a vintage theme...and Ami knew exactly what I wanted. My bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets came out gorgeous. I was a little worried because we ordered cymbidium orchids for our mothers and grandmother flowers. I have never seen a cymbidium orchid without one or two bruises. None of them were bruised. They were in perfect shape. Also, I wanted fiddleheads in the groom and groomsmen boutonnières. Ami, during the time of our meeting told me fake ones would need to be used. I agreed but she ended up using real ones which were phenomenal! Since our wedding my mother has used Blue Moon for deliveries and orders. They are an all around great florist.
