I am so happy that I stopped in here last week for the first time. They have an incredible selection of crystals, books, jewelry... the owner and another woman were working while I was there and they were very helpful when I had questions but they also gave me space to browse- they have such a huge inventory I was there for a while just looking at everything. They were very knowledgeable which was lovely. I have just recently been tapping into my spirituality more and felt very welcome here. I ended up buying a few crystals and bracelets- on the shelves by most items they had small slips of paper explaining what each item was and its significance- I thought that was really nice and you can take the papers home with you. I thought the pricing was very fair and those working were very kind to me. I loved the energy in this place and I am so excited to keep learning and go back soon! read more

The owner is rude and inconsiderate. I've spent 1000's of dollars in that store and i asked to use til he restroom as i have a weak bladder and she said no. The place is no where near any other establishments that have restrooms and her reply was we better hurry up and check you out then. I will never go back and either will any of my friends. Our happy place. We like to go here often, but have to set a spending limit ahead of time! There are so many treasures and precious little things that we always find something new. It is the best guilty pleasure! They have several bins of polished stones to choose from, crystals galore and larger pieces. I have also found wonderful/beautiful cards here as well. A trip to the hippy store for some good ol' fashioned New Age healing! Susan, the owner, is really sweet, and extremely knowledgeable about everything in her store, and beyond. Pick her brain as much as you want; she is super-helpful! We saged last fall, and I have been filling my house with salt lamps, and essential oil burners, to make better energy, and it really feels like it's working. This is important to me, because I have felt like there is extreme negative energy with our house since we bought it over 10 years ago. The former owner of our house died of a lung issue. Strangely enough, after suffering liver issues (which we spent tens of thousands over 2 years to try to help), our beloved dog unfortunately declined, and died of pneumonia in 2014. The following year I got pneumonia, and it took an unexpectedly long time to go away. This winter, after multiple upper respiratory infections, I wanted to visit EarthSpeak to try to help my energy more. While I thought I knew a lot of stones and their properties, and the general rules of which color stones go with which chakras (though there are exceptions), Susan has so many more that are brand new to me. Among others, I was introduced to Moldavite, which is a kind of a glass-stone formed from a meteorite hitting earth over 14M years ago in Czechoslovakia. It is known to help with major life transformations. The stone itself was formed by an explosive chemical transformation when it collided with Earth, and, it is extraterrestrial (which we tend to think of as futuristic), so the roots of the beliefs make sense that way. Though perhaps folkloric, I am still a believer, I have to say. I know a lot of people who have been helped by their stone friends. Here is an odd coincidence. I went to the pocket stones section and started palming them to see if I connected with any energy. I love the energies of the crown chakra stones (many clears and whites). I am drawn to selenite and crystal quartz, but I had never seen apophyllite. As soon as I touched it, I could not put it down. It was such positive energy. Susan heard me coughing the whole visit, and when I got to the register she told me apophyllite helps with the lungs. She even had an apophyllite aromatherapy oil on hand, which she said has been very helpful to her clients. I bought both, and the next day started feeling significantly better. Power of thought? Perhaps, but why was I drawn to that stone, of all the stones in the store, without any prior knowledge of it? If I have to go to the hospital, I'm not going to consult stones first, but I do believe there are subtle aides in geology that have energetic value. EarthSpeak has a website for online sales shipped to your door, which offers cool deals they don't have in store, but vice versa for the store as well, since they have products/deals there, that aren't offered online. Many prices beat Etsy, online and in store, and of course heavier items bought in store save you shipping fees. 16 years ago they were located in Berwyn, but they later moved to Kimberton. Wish they were still in Berwyn, since it's so close to me, but the Kimberton location is a great store, with nice energy! Seven Stones in Media is closer to me, but EarthSpeak has higher quality and far superior customer service, so I will head to EarthSpeak from now on. I came here because of a friend's recommendation. I had never been to Kimberton but it's such a gorgeous PA drive and a cute little town. The building the shop was located in is an historic property. You can sense the energies around the area. There is a ton of stones and crystals and it's well laid out. There's also a section for books and tarot. Essential oils. I took my time because there was so much to see. I ended up purchasing a small bottle of oil and a crystal. The owner was really friendly and informed us of their moving in the new year. I was glad to have made it to its original location because of the old energies on the property which adds to the character and experience. There's a lot of product to choose from, and it's difficult to find a new age shop with this much product as well as positive energy. I highly recommend this business for any of your spiritual needs! read more

Used to go here a lot, then one day I wanted to give them some stuff I had gotten over the years but never used but I didn't want it to go to waste or get lost at a goodwill donation center so I gathered it all together very neatly and took it to the store. All of it was in very great condition and I didn't even want money for it, i honestly just wanted the stuff to get a good home and I figured they could use it for their inventory. Well, I was talking to who I assume was the owner at the counter and she was extremely rude and condescending to me. She cut me off when I was trying to explain to her that I wanted to donate to them specifically and before I knew it she picked up the box of stuff, walked to the door with it, opened the door and practically told me to leave. I was speechless and I felt humiliated. I grabbed the box from her and as I walked out the door she closed it abruptly behind me. Like I said, I was speechless and couldn't believe what had just taken place. I actually cried a bit once I got back in my car. Needless to say, I haven't been back since and don't ever plan on it. I'm not a crystal person but my girlfriend loves this place and keeps asking me to bring her back so I guess they're great quality. She also asked the cashier a question about some crystals and it seems like they know their stuff. I've been here twice. The first time I got a very negative vibe from the woman working there. I noticed she acted annoyed that we were there, even though we spent close to a hundred dollars. I felt like I was bothering her when I asked her a question. She acted as if I should already should have known these things, like I was inconveniencing her by just being there. The second time I brought my well behaved kids, she was still extremely rude and unwelcoming. My hubby and I absolutely LOVE Earthspeak! Whenever I feel off-kilter or down, I go there just to soak up all the positive energy. Susan and her staff can tell just by looking at me what's wrong and when I ask for a stone or crystal to help out, they are always able to guide me to the right thing. There is no sales pressure, just good help. I also go there on a regular basis to buy my incense. When my hubby needs to buy a gift for me, all he has to do is go there and pick something from my wish list, which is a service they offer for free. Also, when I need a gift for a friend who is like-minded, I always think of Earthspeak first. In addition to stones, crystals, incense, and jewelry, they have books, music, clothing, and candles to choose from. Prices range from just a few dollars up to high-end. One of mine and my husbands all time favorite shops. The owners are so knowledgable and are always ready to help us find exactly what we're looking for. When I take my 6 year old grandson with me he walks right up to the counter and asks for help finding a specific color stone or crystal. Today it was a blue crystal that he was looking for, a few months ago it he wanted a brown rock- each time either Susan or Scott very patiently took him around the store showing him where to find the treasures he was looking for.
