I called this establishment to find out if the could sona college logo for a recent funeral kybson amd his friends were attending for a classmate whom had passed away tragically. The woman om the phone knew exactly the person that I was speaking ofnrharnoassed away. I thought that was very good, to be knowledgeable about the upcoming funeral decedent. It felt somehownkire personalized whennsoeaking with her and she evennoffered her sympathies. She asked what school, looked up the logo and told me that yes, it was possible to create a funeral palor spray in time (by the next day) and could have it delivered in time for viewing. She quoted me a price, which was reasonable. Unfortunately, the decedants classmates didn't sharpening my opinion that the idea would be a very nice gesture in memorializing theor friend and their connection to him. Honestly, these 23 and 24 year old students were so devastated my the loss ofntheienfriend, none of them could even think straight. Their sadness, grief, anger and confusion were clouding any decision making process they had once had. While they will somehow recover eventually, their thoughts were on the young man himself, not a flower arrangement. Some lovely person sent me flowers bc I'm seriously ill. Have no idea who to thank bc no name included. I had barely slept in two days and the delivery person kept hammering on the front door making me get up instead of just leaving them by the front door or leaving them with a neighbor. on top of that, they don't answer their phone- the message just says to order online. No customer service at all. You can't even leave a message. no email, no way to communicate with them at all. I lost a very dearly loved cat the first week of January and my daughter who lives out of town knew how attached I was to this cat and knew I was very upset. She called Flowers by Priscilla and explained how important getting flowers to me right away would be. She called me during the evening and while we were on the phone I heard a knock at my door and I said "oh there's a knock at the door I've got to go get it". It was already dark but the flowers were put into my hand by someone doing delivery after dark. I wanted to give the Floral Artist freedom to express. Ha. Since I am on the "Left Coast", and wanted to see what was sent, I PAID for a Photo of the flowers. I did NOT get a Photo! When my niece sent me a photo of what she received, I could understand why! It was very poorly done. No special effort. Nothing artistic. Just stems in a vase...haphazard. Ugh. I felt ashamed of it. Priscilla was my florist for my wedding September 19th at Morris Arboretum and did an excellent job. I would consider myself pretty anal retentive regarding tablescapes. Some brides are most concerned with their dresses, others are most concerned with the food, and then there is me...tablescape. We did 2 mock up tables before the wedding to make sure everything looked exactly the way I wanted it to. She did a great job. As far as her not getting back to you it can be a little annoying but if you don't mind doing that and want to save a few hundred dollars then I would use her. read more

At first glance, everything around was dead and uninspiring for flowers. That's because this place gets SO BUSY (maybe because it is the end of prom season), but Priscilla herself helped me out (A guy, dont know much about flowers), showed her a picture and she helped set me up, going to a fresh truck where there BEAUTIFUL arrangements everywhere. As she was helping me out, she was helping others, getting me through the door past all the prom moms in what felt like a breeze. Oh, and the flowers were beautiful too. We were absolutely thrilled with our experience with Priscilla's for our wedding. They were professional, courteous, and really listened to what we wanted and needed. They were familiar with the area, which was really nice because they knew our venue and were able to help us brainstorm ideas. They were also flexible. We had rain on our wedding day, and they were up early to ask us about rain plans and just adjusted their schedule and plans. They also were kind enough to come to where I was getting ready and have me give the "ok" on the corsages, bouquets, and table settings before they went to give them out and set up. And the flowers were just gorgeous! They did a spectacular arch for the ceremony, original bouquets, tasteful corsages, and perfect table settings. Out of all of my vendors, Priscilla was the weakest. Four days after my wedding, and I still don't have a final balance. I should have known better. Months before my wedding, I'd email and call and weeks would go by without an answer. Being the calm bride that I was I wrongly waited until a week before to finally call and demand a rate and photo of the candelabra--what I got was a disaster. In fact, it wasn't until I said cancel my order, and give me a refund that Priscilla got with the program. She completely forgot the rose flower petal down the aisle (though I'm sure whenever I get the final invoice it will be on there. To think, she had to the nerve to stop me, at my wedding, while I was in my wedding dress to request payment. When I said, you never gave me a final balance, and I can't deal with this at the moment she was stunned (so was I). She also called me on the day of to talk about questions---um, take a note from the other venues and get it done before hand. I love supporting small and local businesses, this was one that I shouldn't have. The candelabras did turn out to be very nice in the end--but so not worth the stress (or Priscilla's comment about how they cost her so much money). The bridesmaid's bouquets were average and wrapped in that tacky plastic balloon ribbon. Flowers by Priscilla is disorganized, unprofessional, but the people are nice and I do believe they mean well. You just can't depend on them on such a big day. Maybe there will be an update if and when I get my final invoice which I've been requesting for the last month. Update: 11/27/2012 I got a call from Priscilla about my balance, I asked for an invoice--2 more weeks later and NO INVOICE. You'd think they'd at least want to ve paid. read more

The interaction I saw between the owner and an employee ( who was working their first day, mind you) was bizarre and infuriating. She talked down to the employee in a nasty tone which made me feel very uncomfortable. In the first 5 minutes of me being there, the owner also shared personal information about a client's order, which probably would have been in good taste to have just kept to herself. She stated that she is very understaffed and having a very busy week, trying to justify her behavior, I guess. So my recommendation would be to support a flower shop that treats their staff with respect and basic human decency and can handle high volume of orders, since she seems too overwhelmed currently. read more

What was delivered to me was the ugliest, most uncreative mismatch of 1/2 dead flowers, most of which were creations, which we all know are just filler flowers. Peach roses, red tulips, yellow carnations, white lilies, red gerber daisies, thrown together in a red vase with a peach bow. The most reprehensible part about it all is that my Mom left a voicemail at the shop about her displeasure and no one from Pricilla's bothered to return her call and/or make things right. Most disappointing experience! The flowers were ordered for Mon 4-24-17. Received a call to say they weren't open on Mon and it was Friday and they were busy with prom orders. Fine, I asked if they could deliever on Wed. since I would be away. They were on my porch Tues. I had even explained to the owner when I first called. I wanted to enjoy them while fresh. Second call explained delivery mix up. Owner said it was her fault. They would send another arrangement on Thurs. I waited around all day, no flowers. Received a call 5:45 pm. They wanted to deliver between 6-7 pm. I had enough by then. I had to return the original piece and vase.{ Insult to injury} Really? The driver said they didn't look bad, the roses were vintage and supposed look that way. My words ( 'kind of droopy"). That was not the point. 1st not delivered when asked for them to be. 2nd wasting my whole day waiting for the second set of flowers. Then to add insult to this fiasco the fresh arrangement was smaller. Never again! read more
