This…read moreis the second time someone has come to my door lying about doing business with one of my neighbors. Using said neighbors name to try and get you comfortable. They will speak to an unsuspecting neighbor and ask for their name in a conversation. Now you have a name to talk to another neighbor about the work you're not actually doing. I'm willing to bet that there will be no window washing at my neighbors house tomorrow as you said. When I've told your "sales people" I have a window cleaner, response both times "ARE THEY AS CUTE AS ME?" Seriously? No one talks like that to a stranger, weirdo. First time this happened I felt in my gut this isn't right. When this guy said that same thing I was really upset. This time I went and checked to see if he was still in the neighborhood, Mathew went to a neighbors house around the corner and I confronted him in front of her. I said I believe he is casing the neighborhood. What is your company name? Where is your business card? Where is your car? Show me where this Ashley's house is? He pointed in the wrong direction. He would not give me any info so I told him to give the info to my neighbor he was IMHO scoping her house out too. He was cool as a cucumber. If I were a door to door sales person, I'd have been mortified and would want to prove right away I'm legit. He didn't have much of anything, no shirt with logo, no flyers, clipboard, etc. no information, no business in the community. He was asked repeatedly to leave the neighborhood, neighbors were complaining. The HOA President came out and told him "Mathew I told you to leave, (people were calling her too)." During this time he tells me that the woman he spoke to earlier hired him to do her windows which was a lie. I spoke to her after he finally left and collected the business card to check this company out. I kept watch till he finally made his way to his car. I called the Sheriff and gave them his info. This business only has reviews from people with very few reviews. All 5 star except for the other one that also states similar experience as mine. Recent winter storms were just not enough to get them thoroughly clean and producing as much power as possible. Sent a text to Evergreen Solar Clean and other companies to get some quotes. Most other companies did not service my area and the one that did was way out of the ballpark! Evergreen Solar Clean was a lot more competitive with their bid and I decided to make an appointment. Blake was able to get me on their schedule and gave me a three hour time frame. About thirty mins. before my appointment, I received a text that his technician, PJ, was on the way. PJ promptly showed up at my door and after short introductions, started getting all his equipment ready and got to work. What I really loved about Evergreen Solar clean is that they use deionized water that they carry on their trucks and Sola-Tec roller brush cleaners, which are rolling brushes attached to wheels that glide across the solar panels with the deionized water flowing through them. You have to checkout their website to see this in action, it's amazing! PJ got to work and maybe about an hour later, he was all done and my solar panels look like they're brand new! All clean and shiny! He did a good job so I asked him to come monthly for a few windows at an agreed on price (was more than $12 a window but I was okay with that). However, after the second time he came he said he would come before Thanksgiving and Christmas. He didn't come before Thanksgiving, which wasn't a big deal but I did want him to come before Christmas. So I reached out to ask him when he could come out. He said he was super busy but that he would get to me in the next week or two. Three weeks passed, so I reached out again to check and see (contacted both the company number and his cell) and received no response. I did find someone else who seems very responsive and will come monthly for the same price. As far as the actual work, they were very good, but the customer service and their site being old (he said he created it years ago and needed to take it down, but has not) is not professional.
