Very inexpensive nail salon with a friendly staff and a consistently good job.
Alisha Z.

I came here with my sister, and although every nail technician was busy when we arrived, the wait was only 10 minutes. The only negative is that there are barely any places to sit while you are waiting to be helped. The staff is super friendly and always greets you and says goodbye. Polished Nails was recently renovated after Dunkin Donuts was put next to it, so everything is updated, which was nice because the equipment used to look a little old before renovations. If you have gone here before, there used to be an issue with parking, but after the renovation there are a lot more spots, so parking was a bit of an inconvenience. This is a good nail salon to go to if you are looking for a consistently good job for a very good price. A mani/pedi was only 16 dollars; regular manicures are 6 and regular pedicures are 11.

This was my first time at this nail salon. They did a great job from start to finish. They took good Covid safety precautions, and I felt everything was sanitized. Great prices, and great results. Will definitely go again.

But...unfortunately, they were incredibly sloppy with their powder manicure. I showed them a photo of a design I wanted (mentioned this when making the appointment as well), and when I got there they gave me all confidence they could do it but I could see on the tech's face that she had no idea how to even begin. What I showed them was a very simple Mickey Mouse design (this was after showing them several others and then saying they couldn't do it). What I ended up recording was as something that looked like two cherries hanging off a vine. Keep in mind this for a trip to Disney, so... I will say that their pedicure was great-it included hot stones which I love and the massage was also really good. But, that came at a crazy price. The polish application for the pedicure was also sloppy, when I asked for a simple French. All in all, I left there spending $130, which even by Long Island pricing standards is ridiculous. Regardless of the shotty work, I still remained polite and gracious while voicing my concerns along the way in a nice way because I knew there was a huge language barrier that didn't help matters. I still tipped my tech well because after all she did perform a service, but I know I will not be returning here nor recommending them.

I usually go here bc it was so close by and the prices were reasonable . However the actual services are so/ so depending on how many people they're trying to fit in. From time to time they give you coupons to keep you coming back. My nail tech went to offer me a 5 dollar coupon which while appreciated was unneeded and for no reason what so ever John told her in front of everyone not to and took it away. I'm assuming it's because I'm a regular and not new so they do that to attract business only . My problem is he could have done that privately or even train the girls to know who it give coupons to or not. Instead he chose to make a scene in a packed Salon to save 5 dollars. Now instead of saving 5 he's loosing them about 100 every two weeks . It was very weird especially for the service they provide. My nails are almost always messed up in some way unless ling does it but she's only there on Mondays . Save your money and go somewhere more professional . Convenience isn't always worth it .

We were getting our toes done there was so many things on the ground people were tripping over it, they kept having to restart and they seemed so confused. Not to mention that they were talking and looking at me and my sister with dirty looks. After that we went to get our hands done and it took them a whole hour to remove acrylic, the had a bunch of other girls try to get it off. Finally the owner came over and got it off but even then I was already uncomfortable since I was there for 2 and a half hours. She asked if I wanted her to file my nails. and I said no I'm good and she proceeded to file. They also barley got any of the acrylic off and my sister left this place will gel still on her nails the guy didn't remove anything. Mind you they were going to charge me 75 dollars for a horrible job, thanks to the discount it wasn't. But warning they are overpriced. I will never be coming back.

I grew up in the area and went to Sarah's Nails growing up, which was just down the block from my dad's house. I was back in New York for the weekend and decided to treat myself to a gel manicure and a pedicure at Amanda Nail Spa, and my experience was fantastic. The staff made me feel so welcome. The spa itself has a clean, updated vibe and a really calming atmosphere. The prices were average! A gel manicure here is only $30, which is very reasonable compared to many other places in the area. But the real showstopper is their Lavender Spa Pedicure, which is $67 and absolutely worth every penny. The pedi included a 30 minute leg massage, and honestly, it was my favorite part, it always is. The massage was so relaxing and just what I needed after a busy weekend. Both my gel mani and my pedicure turned out perfectly. The attention to detail was impressive and my nails look fantastic. The polish has stayed chip free and shiny, even after several days. If you're in Nesconset or nearby, I recommend visiting Amanda Nail Spa, especially if you're looking for great service, fair pricing, and a bit of pampering!
