I have been coming to polished for 2-3 years. The team does a fantastic job and the salon is always clean. They always ask if you would like a beverage during your service. Steven is a fantastic nail tech, and my dip on my fingers is always high quality and lasts. I see him about every three weeks for my nails and he always has consistent results. I also get regular pedicures here with gel (which last over 2 months). They always do a great job and I am never disappointed. 10/10 experience in a convenient location with parking.
It's an aestheticly cute establishment. There are plenty of comfortable massage chairs and a great color selection in regular and shellac. However, that's it. You'll get a bassic polish. Mine chipped within 24 hrs. I had to come back. They did fix it for free. I was a bit annoyed with the final shape and cuticle cut, but my nails grow fast, and I have long nail beds, so polish looks great on them. Techs need more training, but it's cool I'd you're into frills and aesthetics. The pictures are if 3 week old nails. The polish job held up. I have no overlay

I think I washed dishes only once and did nothing crazy with my hands during those days. I don't get my nails done often, so disappointed with the chipping after just 3 days.
Polished Nail Bar has the most prefect location for Southend Residents! Located next to Snooze Eatery on South Blvd. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The salon also is decorated nicely and they have a ton of space to accommodate guests.

It's really sad that a business has to post countless fake 5 star reviews to hide their actual rating. Secondly- I have never had such a poorly done dip set like I did at this salon. They were thick and uneven and the nail technician put glitter on two of my nails when I repeatedly said no thank you.... Four days after my appointment, two of the nails came off and when I went in to get them fixed I was told that I could come back within the week to get them taken off and redone by the same nail tech but the owner refused to fix them when I came in even after repeatedly telling him I was fine waiting. Please just avoid this salon

Do not go here or any other polished store. They are the worse. Their tools are dirty. They don't do a good job cleaning their tools or tubs. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! **** I was in a Polished -- one of your stores & his name is Tien Le.*** Since I'm told by the owners that I wasn't in polished. I was in "South Blvd" not "Park Rd. But same owners. Same expectations I guess uploaded the time stamp before I even got them done! Not all polished are equal I guess some are worse than the others but owned by the same people. I don't like my nails. He wasn't listening to me. And then got an attitude when I said it's not like the photo. It was too short. My nails are fat not long like the photo. He basically did whatever he wanted to .... My nails are not long and sleek like the photo I showed him. He was also rough on my nails when I said I didn't like it. He was pushing my cuticle back with his dry nails. I said "don't do that." He said "I have to to do your nails." I said "don't!" You can see in the photo the gel is coming off of my thumbs, also gel under nail is faulty.

I should have taken that as a sign because Thursday is the new Friday/Saturday and usually the nail salons are really business. Amy provided my gel manicure and pedicure services on last Thursday. As you can pictures my nail beds are showing, the polish has chipped on several nails and have lots of excess skin around my nails. Gel is suppose to last at least two weeks and it's only been 1 week. This is the first and last time coming to this place.
I'm a routine customer & very much enjoy the service. I consistently go with SNS, which typically lasts 2-3 weeks without chipping. Color choices are endless, so no problem there. Complimentary wine, beer, water, soda, etc. is a nice plus. Only thing I would change is the discrepancy of service.. some times I get a lotion massage, cuticles clipped, etc. and some times not. Would help to know exactly the service you're getting every time you walk in the door. Other than that, I still continue to come
The young lady that did my pedicure did a great job. She had a gentle but firm touch. I would definitely go back. My only complaint is that she polished my toes too thick so they didn't dry well so I had to come back after work but they had no problem fixing it for me. They served me a drink both times and I felt so comfortable and relaxed. I work around the corner so I will be back

I came in looking for directions to an event that I paid for. While asking for directions, the lady helping me was SUPER nice and helpful. I ended up getting scammed because the event didnt exist so decided to go back since I was treated so nicely to get a pedicure. I was offered a complimentary drink. The shop was very clean. I loved the vibe. She took her time doing my pedicure and the prices were definitely reasonable. Make sure to check them out if you're in the area. read more

I had horrible service today because of the attitude of the man who did my nails. I showed him a photo in the beginning of what I wanted which was French with black tips instead with minimal designs. When he started doing one design I noticed that my nails were clear and you could see my nail beds and tips of my nails. I politely asked if he could add a light pink coat underneath (like you would normally have with French nails they aren't supposed to be see through). He immediately rolled his eyes and said that they didn't have a pink that wouldn't be clear. I paid $75 for a clear coat of nails with what looked like a sharpie design. I'm so sad I spent money to have my nails done here. After my nail tech did my nails (which I liked) she did my toes and left too much paint on my big toe it literally was dripping off. She "fixed it by wiping it off and redid it. I wore sandals coming in and later that night the paint lifted up as if it was never painted. It's not even smudged. It just came off . Update, they fixed it. Beautiful facility but I won't be returning. read more

Hi future nail enhancement seekers, This review isn't a bad one but isn't quite as good as I would've liked. I'm new to the Charlotte area and was definitely looking forward to great service to compliment the scenery. This was not that simply because the place wasn't welcoming other than the wine and music. If you're looking for mediocrity when it comes to professionalism and trendy nail techniques then it's right up your lane . I asked for medium nails and looked away for a second while the nail tech chopped away and it was over for medium sized nails.If your interested in a quick fix or simplicity why not?! I have gone to Polished several times and have had a decent experience. Kong typically does my nails and has done a good job. However, Louis did my SNS dip manicure a few days ago & they were extremely thick, not what I asked for, had bubbles all over them, & covered my cuticles. The first two photos were taken immediately after getting them done & the third photo was taken 4 days after when they were peeling off. The 4th photo is what I asked for. Overall, not a consistent experience and is pretty rushed each time. read more

A complete letdown! This place just goes to show that everything that glitters isn't gold. A friend and I wanted to go here after passing by on our way to Owen's Bagels (which is amazing). Firstly, this place is more expensive than most other nail places in Charlotte, but I was okay with that because it looked so pretty inside. We started by picking a color from their floating display and most of the polishes there looked old and had separated from sitting so long. We didn't wait long for pedicure chairs, but that's where the problems started; I noticed my pedicure tub looked dirty at the bottom like it had some leftover lotion and residue from the last time it was used. The next issue is that the jet function as well as the lights didn't work on my tub, but I was ok because the water was a good temperature. We received our mimosas and I went to put it in the tray on my chair and noticed just how disgusting that portion was as well (spills, stains, and even some leftover hair). I was ready to leave then, but my friend wanted to finish her drink. Our nail techs sat down and started doing their thing, but about 5 minutes into the massage the nail tech was done with the pedicure and was ready to paint my nails.. mind you she didn't clip my nails or even asked if I wanted them clipped, nor scrubbed my heels. I asked her to do both and she seemed to get agitated. My nails were cut jagged and uneven and she didn't want to use the proper tools to scrub my heels so I ended the pedicure and paid the full $25 before she painted because I don't want to risk it being a complete disaster. I don't feel I should've paid the $25 but I didn't want to argue with anyone. I ended up going to another nail salon, getting my pedicure completely redone and a manicure, and there they told me they are friends with some Polished employees and that they are on a 15 minute time limit with each customer. Such a disappointment and sad to say I'll never visit this location again. read more

Went today to get a full ombré set that I've been getting from polished for about 6 months now. Today I was charged an extra $10 to take off a set they put on and an extra $5 because I asked for an almond shape. So a full acrylic set totaled $80 today. There's plenty of competition in town, I'll be taking my business somewhere that doesn't upcharge. You should probably advertise these things on your website. read more

I am a huge fan of Polished and will continue to recommend this location in particular to friends and family that are looking to get their nails done. Other reviews are accurate in saying that it is possible to feel like you are just getting in and getting out and if you do not engage with your nail technician you may not end up exchanging many words with them at all. However, I love walking in and knowing that if there is a wait time they have the staff and facilities to get you seated and taken care of much more quickly than I usually expect at a nail place. I personally appreciate being seated at a station and served a beverage even if a technician is not immediately available. There is always a buzzy atmosphere that is fun to just take in (Saturdays in particular have music playing, champagne popping, and the happy chattering of clients). When I have gone with friends or my mom we are always seated next to each other without any awkward shuffling - it just happens, which is so thoughtful. I have also seen patrons that were able to lounge after their treatment was over at their station without being hustled out which I appreciate. This is one of the best, most long-lasting, consistent gel manicures I have gotten and this is truly the number one reason why I love Polished. Every time I have walked in for a gel manicure I have walked out knowing that my nails look awesome and I have going to have to go in weeks later to get them removed because my nails have grown out too much, not because the gel is lifting or chipped. You seriously have to try to begin to chip away your manicure at the 2.5-3 week mark. Staff at Polished have always been friendly and helpful. My friend and I recently walked in 30 minutes before closing on a weeknight and we were told that even though there was a line they would make sure to provide the treatments that we had come for, regardless of the end time. Even at the end of my friend's mani-pedi, when she was questioning her color choice (and well after closing at this point), the technician offered to add more coats of a different color! We never felt rushed or as if we were inconveniencing them, the whole staff was above and beyond. read more

Got my nails done this morning maybe around 10 AM by the afternoon this is what I had called him to speak to the gentleman who knew great English to then tell me I could come back for him to fix it well it's Mother's Day weekend so there have to be another option because I'm going out of town as i was speaking to him. Anyone can say they're going out of town. That is what he said well then I offered up a solution are you able to please give me my money back because now I have to get them fixed in another city for Mother's Day weekend. He said no either now or never basically or it will then be free nails because my nails were done. Yeah they were done but they weren't done properly because I paid $55 for this. Trust me I will get my money back. Don't go to this establishment they do not know what they are doing. And I was actually very polite and nice about it and he hung up on me. read more

Slightly embarrassed to say that I was dragged here last night, but you know what? It was worth it. I ran a half marathon recently, and my feet haven't fully recovered, so I promised my girlfriend I'd go with her to get a pedicure. And I loved it. We'd heard a lot about Polished recently, so we went to see what all the buzz was about. This place is super nice. First of all, they give you wine or beer or water while you're getting worked on. Maybe other places do this, too, but I thought it was awesome. The people were amazingly friendly too--not too talkative, but super nice and attentive. They made me feel really comfortable. Finally, (and my girlfriend backs this up), they did an awesome job on my giant, coarse feet. I feel amazing now. Also, it's worth mentioning that their chairs are amazing...brand new and massage-capable. read more
