So I paid in full, went back the following month he didn't finish it said I'd need one more appointment. He never got back to me with an appointment, still hasn't. He said he'll 'squeeze me in' between other appointments he's booked after me when I've already paid. He said he's booked solid through December & made the appointments after me. He's got a million of excuses and now I'm left with an unfinished tattoo that I stupidly paid for and I'll have to go pay someone else to finish it!! I'm Beyond angry!!

I went in for a consultation with him, hoping to get some work done, but he ultimately wasn't too interested in the idea I proposed. I'm a fan of traditional Japanese tattoo style, but after looking more closely at his portfolio, I realized his take on it wasn't quite what I was looking for. Compared to other artists in California who specialize in Japanese traditional, I found his work a bit too washed out and generic for my taste, with designs that felt a little too busy. His style is too recognizable, with similar patterns and placements across pieces. That said, if you're into his style and you're able to get on the same page with him, I'm sure you'll be happy with the outcome. From my experience, Bodi seemed like a pretty laid-back guy--easygoing and not uptight. However, if you're after something more specific or different, there are definitely other talented artists out there, and if you're willing to drive further out, you'll find some better options
