I have to give the Tustin Police force all the kudos in the world for the respectful and…read moreprofessional manner that they handled a drugged up man who ran into our local Renz Social House last night with a backpack of paraphernalia up to no good. After detaining the man out front of the bar, he was yelling homophonic and racist slurs at 5-6 officers who managed to keep their posture, professionalism, and character despite the fact this man was attempting to push these officers over the edge. From what we could decipher, they had been following the man from another neighboring bar, but as a few of us lingered out front for about 1/2 hour on the patio sipping our drinks, it was very apparent that the officers on Tustins force that arrived to the incident were experienced, empathetic, and understanding to the man's apparent intoxication and didn't allow the slurs and aggressive language the man was shouting to even phase them. It was a textbook example of the way an incident should be handled and I was left feeling very proud as a Tustin resident that our Police officers acted so quickly, yet respectfully of this man's rights while detaining him peacefully and without an extensive use of force. Way to go TPD on how you handled the situation at Renz last night.

After the 2.5 hours of waiting and 3 patrol units driving by we left, while we were driving back home I get a phone call asking if we're still there waiting and I explained the situation and told the officer their good for nothing. Recently on 1/20/26 I went into a urgent care and there was a employee making sexual and harassing gestures with her pelvis as if a man was thrusting himself and along with discrimination and the officer told me I couldn't file a complaint because it's not a crime, so asked if I went to a store and made sexual gestures it's ok?, I recorded this officer and they are the laziest f'n people ever and the biggest legal gang in the world. Absolutely disgusting, I will file a complaint with internal affairs.

I've had some good history with the LAPD and it was a special request to former Police Chief William Bratton. They slapped me with a warning citation stating that, I should have spoken to the conductor about it. I told the officers that I had every intention of discussing the situation with the conductor, just as I had done the day before after having the same issue with the same validator. Of course the conductor, having worked and traveled via public transportation many a time knows very well that a broken validator is a very common occurrence. I had even called to report the broken validator and spoke with Alice who was as all Metrolink employees, very kind and assured me that they were aware of the problem and that it would be fixed as soon as possible. I mentioned all of this to the cops, even offered to show them my receipt of purchase and case number for submitting a request to fix the validator. They wouldn't listen, just wrote me up and on they went, terrorizing everybody on the train. Kids were frightened, no longer enjoying their weekend adventures; girls with their miniature well behaved dogs were being threatened to be removed from the train because the dog was growling at the cops---BUT ONLY the cops. It was infuriating to witness. The conductor was EVEN apologizing for their behavior for crying out loud! Riding the train used to have many advantages, one of them was not having to deal with cops and tickets now you can get cited for following all the rules. You made little kids cry and scared a lot of brand new "weekenders" from riding the train.
