It's very easy to find with plenty of accessible parking spots as well as a couple electric car charging stations. When you walk in, you must check in with the front desk with a photo ID and the nice clerk or security guard will directly you to whichever floor you're going to. The elevator is secure so the Scott employees must use their card keys to get you to your floor. This particular day, I was going to Parks & Community Services for a park rental permit. I had done most of my preparation and research by looking online for park amenities and availabilities and had called in a few times to clear questions. The lady at the front desk was super helpful. Since I was had a larger gathering with sports and games at Estancia Park, I needed prior approval from the Parks & Community Services manager. The approval was easy and I just needed to complete the form(s) and pay. The only issue I had was that I came in on a Friday a bit before they closed and Apple Pay (or any electronic payment for that matter) wasn't accepted. Make sure you have a physical credit card, your checkbook or cold hard cash with you. Fortunately, the nice lady offered to keep my park rental application so I can return to pay first thing Monday. You want to try to book which ever rental facility asap because they all fill up pretty quickly (especially the facilities with restrooms or tables) and it's first come, first paid. Luck for me, it all worked out great the following Monday and my gathering went off without a hitch at Estancia Park. It was a beautiful day at the park with my friends and family! An officer on the opposite side of the freeway noticed me from a distance and took the time to stop in the middle of the carpool lane to assure me that he would circle around and clear traffic so I could safely move my motorcycle to the right-hand shoulder. About five minutes later, he stopped the entire incoming 57 freeway traffic to let me do just that. The officer stayed with me as long as he could, until he received another call. The restroom is accessible inside the Community Center during their business hours. Non-likes: - Not a lot of people come here for pick-up pickleball games. You likely have to bring your own people. Others bring their own people for private play or coaching. If you're lucky, you might find nice people there who'll let you join in. - It's near the beach, so strong breezes should be no surprise to you. Despite the wind tarps layered all along the surrounding fence, gusts still definitely affect gameplay. The day I went, there was a boxing tournament inside the Community Center, so parking was PACKED. Struggled to find parking for 10 minutes. What's worse is the other side park prohibits parking there for pickleball players. However, I just got off the phone with an associate who said that this was actually a rare event, and that normally parking is pretty open.

One officer vehicle, one paramedic & one fire truck. I proceeded to parked in front of the school sign on the red zone, as someone was being taken by the Paramedics. & there was no where else for me to park or get by close enough where if my AUTISTIC child threw a fit, I would be able to handle walking her in. I came back 5 minutes later to see this officer writting a ticket as everyone began to leave the premises. I said, 'I was sorry, it took 2 minutes', but of course her teacher had to speak about her behaviors for an additional 2 minutes. He then said to me, "it was not 2 minutes, look around everyone left". He proceeded to advise me to park further, past the green zone where the ambulance & fire truck were blocking everything, including vehicles. The area in which he recommended me use by the way was a 'No Parking Tow Zone' & there was a tow truck right there! Regardless I would have been stuck with some sort of penalty. Also, not to mention I would have gotten in the way of the emergancy having to walk my child through the scene. My child being autistic is no excuse but knowing that there was no other area or place to park due to this unfortunate event & being so blocked from entering or exiting the premises & blocking surrounding LIMITED parking areas, leaves us parents with "what do I do?" & "how do I avoid a situation like this"?

The best part is they are good about fines. The max fine for a late book is $10. That's it. (But if you lose a book, you pay for the book and a $10 administrative fee). The only thing I don't understand is what is upstairs? They recently did a remodel but still we cannot go up there. Swell hours; 9 am to 9 pm weekdays, like retail! And open on Sunday! Sweet!
