Fortunately I received the confirmation email from Gilt.com, and I was able to call them and cancel the order, and close the account and set up a new account. What's weird, is in 2023 I went to finally use the Gilt.com credit and buy something, and Svetlana's information shows up in my new Hilt.com account. How she got access to it again is baffling because I created a 20++ digit password with multiple symbols, numbers and upper and lower case letters, so I'm not sure how they cracked it agin. read more

The AP number on the second line after the name is the AddressPal identifier number you are given that is personal to you. We are charged by weight for this service. While some parties use this for suspicious means, I can assure some of your reviewers that the ones with the Irish names and the identifiers are totally legitimate. These hackers change the password on your Amazon/Walmart/Ebay to lock you out of your account. In addition, they hack your email and add filters to your email so that all emails related to their fraudulent behavior go straight to the trash can and so you won't see emails from Amazon like order confirmations when this happens or reset password emails that would normally tip you off that something is going on. The reason so many scams come from here is people from other countries (usually Russia or Russian-speaking countries based on the complaints) will hack e-mail accounts / scam people, and have the packages sent to this address to be shipped to their country. The reshipper has no idea if a package was purchased legitimately or by a scammer, so they reship it as told, and once it gets to the country, it's pretty much a done deal. This place is Freight Forwarded company, meaning, they are middle man for people like myself and many other who would like to order items from US, but the companies would not deliver internationally. This neither any other Freight Forwarding companies have nothing to do with your accounts being hacked. They just receive instructions to forward purchases to designated addresses which are registered with this service. They have no way to tell whether the item was purchased in legal or illegal way. It is an Irish state service offered to people based in Ireland who need a USA (or UK) address to purchase something from US (UK) buyers who don't ship to Ireland. A verified account has to be set up with a bank account, and fees are charged, plus any import duty/taxes payable to the government on delivery to the verified address in Ireland. Purchased a Cozmo robot and had it sent to Polar Express for onward shipping to Ireland. I'm giving it a 'meh' rating- because they screwed up the customs declaration- resulting in a totally unjustified $75 fee for me in Ireland- when by rights, I shouldn't have had to pay it. Numerous issues- including an inability to switch between currencies- which meant I was out of pocket. I'll not use them again unless its something I really just can't buy over here. Even if its cheaper in the US- I think I'll just bite the bullet and buy it locally. I got my Cozmo about 3 weeks after it was received in Englishtown- and its still at least 2 months before its on the market here- however, I could have gotten a deposit down on a new unit (the one I bought was second hand) for about $60 less than I ended up paying. I got my robot- it took a lot longer than anticipated to arrive- and I got seriously stung with customs and other charges that I shouldn't have had to pay. Well, a few days ago I received an alert message about a charge purchased thru my Amazon account for over $342 which I did not make. Quickly I called the card company to stop the payment. At the same time I received e-mail notification about this transaction shipment has been process and realize it was then cancelled (maybe the hacker forgot to change the shipping address) However, they quickly repurchase the same item but this time with a gift card since my card company block the old card info in my Amazon acct and issue a new one. Now I add my Amazon login with 2 step verification to increase more security... And I look up the shipping address is linked me to this business. I'm not saying Polar Express didn't do a good job on shipping stuff overseas. But they should really looking into who they shipping for and who is the shipper. Because there are certainly some fraudulent criminal activities involve with the goods they shipped and the transaction of the goods being purchase and sold...they should work with local authorities to crack up the fraud activities. read more

These guys hacked into my Disney Movie Rewards account and redeemed points to place 2 orders. They updated my account name to Denis Aerov, with a shipping address of 5 South Main St, for 46419. They were not however, smart enough to change the email or the password ... so as soon as I received the email notifications about account changes and orders, I logged in -- updated pw, screen captured everything, changed my info back. I see many comments here from various buyers/ sellers - this company is used by the ( state owned) Irish post office as their freight forwarding company for inward parcels to Ireland - any customer can get an address here, with a number per customer, and the items are then sent here within the US mail system, opened and checked for customs etc , and then forwarded to Ireland for delivery. It is a legit business - they are only the forwarding agency. Yes, it can be abused, but so can many other methods via online selling. Blaming the company is shooting the messenger. NO SCAM.... NO MOFIA... This is a legit business. Customers order from Amazon,...etc and ship to Polar Express with their PolExp customer number on the ship to label. PolExp receives the order and holds it in your account (their warehouse) until you provide a shipping address for the ultimate destination. I go to the warehouse to ship most of my items but I have also ordered from an internet company and shipped to PolExp and the package goes directly to my friends in Ukraine and Russia. Most internet companies in US will not ship to Ukraine or Russia. You have to ship the package to your address then take it a shipper. You pay shipping twice and US shippers are expensive. Polar Express makes this extremely easy. You do pay twice but you don't have to ship it yourself and the PolExp shipping rates are very reasonable. I have never had a problem. These people speak Russian but are American citizens and honest, honorable people. As I said, I have been to the warehouse and met the owner and his wife. I can understand your frustration when some one hacks your account but PolExp is only a middle man. They have no way to know that their customer is a hacker unless you notify them. These people work very hard to please their customers and maintain a good franchise. PLEASE don't smear this company if you have problems. Call them directly or call the police. read more
