Ahi tuna custom bowl and matcha milk tea
    Melissa R.

Really like this place, I love being able to build my own poke bowl and the sauces are delicious! (Chili garlic oil and sweet teriyaki are my fave) their service is quick and the ambience is chill. I always get the ahi tuna with half of tofu or chicken on a bed of mixed greens and a scoop of brown rice (props to healthier quick options!) Great toppings and mix ins like different seaweed salads, mango, garlic and onion chips plus more! Service is always quick when I visit during lunch time.

I ordered the Burrito - pick 2 proteins. I chose salmon and tuna. They have tofu as an option too. And shrimp. I got it with mixed greens. No rice. Cilantro, green onion, garlic chips, shredded nori, sesame seeds, pickled daikon, jalapeños, hijiki seaweed, ogo seaweed, seaweed salad, wasabi aioli sauce, and togarashi. It was $14. Everything was fresh. It's all prepared in front of you. Service was quick and friendly. It looks like a brightly lit buffet inside. This place used to be Hoboken Nail Spa. Would I get the burrito again? No. It was good, but not for $14. It's on the smaller side. It didn't have much salmon or tuna. If there was more salmon and tuna, $14 would be worth it. What I got was worth $10. Mostly the mixed greens is what I got. I would try a bowl next time instead. Hopefully it's more of the protein.

Came across this spot casually walking down Washington Ave. There was a sign outside displaying half off poke bowls so obviously I was intrigued. As I went inside it had a very hip, Hawaiian decor and noticed that you could either build your own bowl or order a signature one. This place must be new because it wasn't quite busy yet, but the person working had a very friendly demeanor. He recommended the Hawaiian signature bowl so I went with that one. Very fresh ahi tuna, paired with sweet onions and my choice of rice (white), it made for an amazing bowl. You have your choice of sauces from soy, hot chili or sesame. There's many Hawaiian soft drinks but this time around I had a water. Plenty of seating both inside and out. This place was a hit.

I just received my order from this location. The manager on duty basically told me I'm a liar when I told her there's no sauce. She actually said to come in a check the cameras. Look a the picture. No sauce. If she added sauce then it must've been a teaspoon because mine was supposed have 3 types and my wife had 2. (FYI mine had spicy mayo but there was none). Not going here again. Bad attitude. Uneducated manager. She actually told me to come in to check the cameras...

I ordered online for pickup through DoorDash and it was ready in 10 mins. I am very pleased with the speed. There are tons of topping options to choose from. However, the portion of the proteins are on the smaller side.

Lina is so awesome! She helped us out with great portion and delicious food. Service and ambience are so great! Food tastes beyond delicious.

got this pokebowl to go and it was stuffed!! the worker was super generous with topping portions and sauces. there were some extra sesame/chili oil at the register you could grab for free in case you wanted that extra flavor. the experience was really nice and easy. my only complaint is that the restaurant smelled a little weird. but its totally worth it since i ordered it to go. this bowl came out to about $17!

I've been wanting a good affordable poke place in the area and this place is great! Servers are very friendly. Place is small but clean. Portions are huge and tasty!

Amazing service and workers are kind. They have free boba promotion for back to school students. They have a lot of seating. Cute backgrounds for pics. They have good options like other poki places. It's three blocks from the pier which is nice for a picnic. The portions are good.

Built my own bowl - delicious. Employee was very nice, and assembled it quickly. Just wish there would've been more protein in the scoop.

None of the uncanny AI slop photos of the food ever resemble the actual slop actually being served out of some sketchy nondescript door. There's at least two other fake restaurants besides this one that I've caught operating out of this specific 5th Ave location ("Glazed Hen" Korean fried chicken is another one), but whichever group runs them always sets up the same slate of fake restaurants in the same buildings. 1140 Utica Ave in Brooklyn is another known physical location they operate this scam out of. In the meantime I need for y'all to be a bit smarter when you go on these apps. DoorDash usually labels ghost kitchen junk "virtual brand" in small print on the store page, but UberEats and the rest all lie. If it's a place with a weird name that you never heard of that's delivering at all hours and has a suspiciously high rating on the delivery apps compared to here on Yelp, despite having no internet presence to speak of (no social media) it's a huge red flag. Don't support this scam.

We ordered delivery (can't comment on the restaurant space of service) and it arrived hot and fresh. We tried the make your own poke bowl with salmon and tuna (you get to pick two which I really like), over white rice with edamame, cucumber, avocado, mango, sesame seeds, onion crisps, seaweed salad and the poke sauce (with a side of siracha aiolic) along with the two protein BBQ bowl with beef bulgogi and pork katsu, with cole slaw and mac and cheese over hawaiian fried rice with katsu sauce. The katsu was still crispy and while I don't normally care much for fried rice, the hawaiian fried rice was very good. The poke bowl was fresh with a good amount of fish and again, I loved all of the toppings and things that you can add for free (the avocado is extra). Both bowls were very tasty and good sized portions. Given the quality and quantity, the prices were very reasonable (especially compared to other poke places) and I would definitely order from here again.

I tried the Hawaiian Latte and my bestie tried the Honey Almond Latte. We both enjoyed our drink, but if I realized how much syrup was in the Hawaiian Latte I would have passed on that. Well, it was vacation and no need to obsess over sugars on one stop. The reason I have a low rating was frankly due to the lack of customer service. I'm from out of town and maybe it's an expectation of mine to greet customers, and let them know when their order is ready, but there was none of that. The young man and gal were talking amongst themselves and didn't string up conversation or engage in any way shape or form. I'm not expecting to become the baristas friend, but acknowledgement is necessary in a customer service based job. Plenty of other spots to choose from in the city.

The blueberry flavor is subtle but the matcha isn't too matcha-y, so great ratio! It's also the perfect shade of matcha green. My only "complaint" is that it took a while to get my drink. I'm surprised by how busy they were busy at 2:30 pm on a weekday. 3 other people also ordered matcha drinks so I had to wait since they bulk made them.

The Grilled Salmon bowl with brown rice, Cucumber, Red Cabbage Slaw, Red Onion, Hijiki Seaweed, and scallions is delicious and healthy!
