My favorite Poke place in the east bay! All the fish and vegetables are very fresh. They offer many options like glass noodles as a base! They have great portions for the price. At times the service can be a little slow but understandable as they're also prepping fresh Maki rolls. The seating is always clean and organized.
My second time getting poke from Poke Hana and it's pretty good!! Really spacious inside and servers were nice too. I got 2x salmon, spicy salmon, and for sauces I got spicy mayo and unagi.
Stopped by to have a quick dinner and selected a kids bowl with 1 scoop of protein. Picked sushi rice as the base with cucumber, green onions, edamame, and crab. I selected ahi for my scoop and selected citrus ponzu, house poke sauce and a little bit of spicy mayo. Topped it with furikake, masa go and crunchy shallots. The kids bowl was more than enough food for my quick dinner. Would definitely recommend! several base options, lots of veggie, protein, sauce and topping options.
Ordered to go, I had never been and didn't read the menu closely before ordering but the girl filling my order was helpful. The medium bowl is big for a lunch meal. I'm glad I got mixed greens as my base and not rice. Very fresh and protein packed. Loved it, will be back often!
The food is fresh and delicious. The people that make your order are welcoming, patient and kind. I highly recommend this place if you are interested in a good poke bowl. The place provides a happy feeling because it's, simple, bright (lighting) and clean.
My first time coming here. This is located in Brentwood. The location is perfect the Streets of Brentwood is only across the way. It's a cute little place. Like a size of a cafe. Only a few tables inside. You choose the size of your bowl kids or adult. Make your bowl how you want it (customize it to your liking). There's a variety of protein and vegetables toppings which is what you get in most poke bar places. The service is pretty fast. The staff are friendly. They are very generous with the portions. I was good with a kid size bowl. I love how fresh the proteins tasted and the rice was nice and hot. The price is standard. Not expensive for the amount of food you get.
The counter staff were so kind and the restaurant was cute and clean. I thought everything tasted fresh and the portion was great for the price. They even have shrimp tempura as an available protein option and the sauces I tried (unagi and spicy house poke) have all been good. I will definitely be back!
Honestly I truly enjoyed my poke bowl I paid $23 including 20% tip. The food was fresh, the restaurant was clean, Raquel helped me , her customers service was exceptional. You can park right outside , you can eat there or have it to go, the only thing I was a bit confused was that as soon as you walk in they have an screen to order but YOU CANNOT ORDER YOUR POKE BOWL THERE, so to me it makes no sense that you can order some stuff on the screen and some you can't I didn't like the inconsistency specially since they have the screen saying START YOUR ORDER HERE... I can see lots of people get confused just like I was, besides that everything was so good , the sauces were delicious:)
Today, I stopped by Poké Hana unexpectedly as I was in the area at Homegoods. I love poké and haven't found a place I liked yet in the area so was willing to give it a try! First impression was that the restaurant was nice & clean. You could tell everyone at the front of the restaurant are still getting the hang of the flow and how to operate. My boyfriend & I ordered kids bowls as we didn't want too much food. For my order, I got a bowl with half sushi rice & half green, with sweet corn, mango, edamame, green cucumber, green onion, seaweed salad, avocado, and crab with salmon (spicy mayo + sesame sauce), furikake, and crunchy shallots. I love that they don't charge extra for avocado or crab (unless you ask for an extra scoop). Some places charge extra for that and I think the fact that this is included makes the place even more special. Here is why I docked down a star: The experience went pretty well until it came to reaching the register. It seemed as if they must have given me the incorrect amount of protein to the point where (assuming) the manager was quietly scolding one of the employees in front of us, saying "I told you"... which made the experience awkward for me. I was planning to add more toppings to my bowl but felt the need to leave immediately because of how awkward it was. As someone that focuses on operations, they should probably consider using a different color bowl for the kids bowl to avoid mistaken portions or try using the paper forms as there can easily be miscommunication when the bowl gets handed off to the protein area. As for the bowl itself, it was very good! Every ingredient was good especially the mango which was a delicious touch to my bowl. The only ingredient that wasn't up to par was the avocado - unfortunately it was not fully ripe but still edible -- the rest of the bowl was so good that I wasn't even that mad about it. I'd definitely come back regardless of the experience, mistakes are expected when a restaurant is just opening so I understand and hope they find a solution to the issues that arise. I wish the restaurant success & hope they stick around.
A dedicated Poke place has come to Brentwood! It's conveniently located across from Streets of Brentwood with ample parking. It's your typical build your own bowl but they also offer sushi rolls. Their veggie bowl was $13.95 and they were very generous with the toppings and tofu scoops. Brown rice is an option at no additional charge (a lot of other places up charge for brown rice.) I got a very colorful bowl that included edename, seaweed salad, corn, carrots, cucumber and tofu. The citrus ponzo sauce was the perfect flavor for all veggies. The interior is clean and simple, while the staff are very friendly and attentive. Great, healthier addition to the Brentwood dining scene.

They did not disappoint this is an authentic eatery for POKE' ! I have tried several places where the taste and flavors have not been there. Other places can replicate but not duplicate an authetic POKE' bowl. I love , love it here on the day I came in they were barely opening. They were not quite ready for business but everything was in its place and set to go. I hope you fans and lovers of POKE' will stop by and try it out. You will not be disappointed. Love this little poke stop! It feels clean, well managed and the team is pretty nice. I'm always curious as to why they have half of their chairs stacked against the wall well before closing at night, but then again I also get it. Portions are generous, fish tastes fresh & drink selection is solid. They are conveniently located near the streets of Brentwood & other shopping. So glad they're in town!
I was referred to try this place. Walking in this place was clean and the customer service was great. The staff were friendly, welcoming (they spoke and helped me build my bowl based on my sushi liking. The food was fresh and tasty might I add With that being said, I will be back. #SushiLover
I can't speak for the service at the actual restaurant but this location alone has inspired me to reinstate my dash pass! This is the best kind of food to order for delivery, especially since at my current work location there are not a lot of good food places nearby. The fish is always super fresh and I enjoy getting the tuna and salmon. I love that you can add glass noodles and customize everything you put in your bowl! This is a newer poke spot to the Brentwood neighborhood. It's is spacious and nice and clean inside. I was very impressed with the menu and choices of add ons. I'm used to bowl scoops choices of 2 or 3 scoops between regular and large bowls. This place is 2 scoops for regular and 4 scoops for large bowls. However they do have a kids bowl option for smaller sizes which is nice if you want to eat light. The bowl has good flavor and nice and fresh. Would have loved a little more rice portion. read more

Great poke - very fresh fish, great portions, lots of mix ins to choose from and sides including avocado and imitation crab salad, great service! I like that they always cut the avocado fresh so it's not brown. And that you can get sauce on the side. My favorite poke place in Brentwood. read more

I love this place. I have gone back at least once a time since trying it. For starters, they are so kind and their employees are so friendly. The food is great and they don't charge extra for certain things that other poke places i've been to have. Overall if you're trying to find a good place to have a meal in brentwood this would be my pick. read more

Came in with my wife and overall enjoyed our meal today! The service was quick and the workers were very kind. We were able to sit inside and eat our food as there were lots of seats available! The restaurant is very nicely decorated completing the ambiance of our experience! The food itself was pretty decent and you can really taste the quality of the fish that was used. My wife and I got the 2 scoop regular bowl with the ahi tuna and cooked shrimp! The sauces that were used were very good as well! Will definitely come back and try more of the other options :) read more

Pokehana sits right across the street from the Streets of Brentwood and it's finally the poke spot this area has been missing. I've been here five times now which at this point makes me a regular and honestly the quality stays consistently impressive. The moment you walk in, the minimalist vibe feels clean and relaxing and the staff are genuinely warm in a way that sets the tone before you even place your order. Then the food takes it to another level. The fish is incredibly fresh and you can build your bowl exactly how you want it. They also offer rolls, musubis, crispy rice and miso for when you want something extra. What really surprised me on this visit was how much the sauces elevate everything. Their selection is top tier and the house made house poke hot sauce is the star. It adds the perfect kick without overpowering the fish and ties the whole bowl together. My bowl was unreal. Every bite had that ideal balance of flavor and texture and the miso was smooth, balanced and actually memorable. This place is a must. Try it once and you'll already be thinking about your next trip back. read more

We finally have a poke place in our city and it is good! The portion size is really good. We had the sushi rice which had the perfect taste and texture In addition to that the proteins and several toppings that you could ass was also really good. The service was great and the staff greeted us when we walked in and were very friendly the whole time we were there. The restaurant is very clean and the minimal decor and color scheme gives a bright and cheerful vibe. I am definitely going back to try other proteins and toppings with the delicious mild poke sauce! read more

I'm so happy to finally have a dedicated poké place in the area! The food here is fresh and delicious. The space is clean as is the production area. I know some people have complained of small portions but that was not my experience. I got the regular bowl and it was packed full of toppings and protein. I don't mind paying $19 for fresh fish and veggies! Will definitely be back for more. read more

i've been eyeing the construction of this restaurant for the past few months, and was so happy hearing it opened! brentwood has been in need of more poke places, and the location is nice and convenient (next to happy lemon and tj maxx). it's also very clean and cute inside! we got 2 regular bowls, which come with 2 scoops of protein each. i felt like the fish-to-rice proportions were off (i had a looot of rice), and the scoops were pretty small for the how much the bowls were. but the salmon was yummy and the employees were so so sweet! read more

They need to practice sanitation, there was dirty dishes everywhere, trash everywhere, where they PREPARE food and sauces. They have outside drinks sitting with everything else. One of the workers grabbed the outside beverages with gloves and continue to make my food with those same gloves. Not okay at all. Makes me question what they do in the back when no one is looking if this is what's shown in front of everyone read more
Great new spot if you like poke! Tons of fresh topping selections and great price. I got a bowl today with tuna and tempura shrimp and I thought the quality of the food, quantity I got for the price I paid was well worth it. Store is nice and clean and currently decorated for Halloween And they do offer some sushi rolls here as well as the poke. Will have to try that next! read more
