Wow. This place is great! Very fresh product and lots of topping options. I really like how there is no limit to the amount of toppings you can add. (I've had DIY poke from Rocky Fin before and they limit the amount of toppings.) I found the matcha rice lovely and fragrant. Amazing bang for your buck. I've only had delivery from here and it's always been early or on time. I wish they would extend their hours! Also, I hope they fix the delivery discrepancy on their Eat24 page: The home screen says it offers free delivery, but charges $0.99 for delivery upon checkout. read more

This was just what I needed for a relatively healthy lunch and to escape the sub par sandwiches at the convention center. The walk was a little further than I liked, but it wasn't too far and it was nice to be outside. There were a few people in line when I got there. Unfortunately the line moves kind of slowly and online orders can come in that also take time. If you're in a hurry, definitely order ahead. I had a medium bowl with a half amount of rice, two scoops of tuna and one scoop of spicy tuna. I loaded it up with all sorts of stuff, and everything was fresh and the bowl tasted great. The half rice was plenty, and I liked the seaweed and all of the different options they had to dress it. The next time I make a poke bowl at home I will pull up their menu for topping and sauce inspiration. If you're looking for something different for lunch I would recommend giving this place a try. A little expensive, but that's the price of fresh fish and is definitely worth it every once in awhile. read more

I rolled in about five minutes before their 6pm closing time, but they still hooked me up. They were able to help me identify gluten free options and sauces, and sent me on my way with extra containers of gluten free soy sauce and some spicy mayo. They had a different selection of toppings from what I'm used to in Albuquerque, but I really liked the addition of pineapple and mango. I hauled my poke bowl to my hotel room, grabbed a glass of wine from the bar on the way by, and had an awesome meal. PokeWorld introduced me to the awesomeness of poke bowls, and I was immediately hooked. The medium bowl is huge and delicious, and service is friendly and fast. On my first visit, I had half matcha rice and half mixed greens as my base, the spicy shoyu sauce (their spiciest sauce), one scoop of spicy tuna, one scoop of salmon, and all of the mix ins, toppings, and sprinkles. I was excited, what can I say. The bowl was so good and so much food: two large scoops of fish, so many mix ins and toppings, and the flavorful and salty matcha rice was a nice surprise. Some of the toppings didn't quite fit, like corn and tomato, but that was really my fault for being overly excited. The greens were a little too twiggy for my liking--I prefer leafier greens--but I will definitely give the greens another try. For my second visit, I was more selective with my toppings and went with all matcha rice, and the bowl was even better. I foresee many more poke bowls in my future and am so excited to have PokeWorld downtown. read more

I'm a big fan of poke bowls and I was so excited to try this place. First, the place and space. If you intend to come for lunch, make sure to order pick-up - the line at this place gets insanely long at this time of day. It's not very large either, so there's not a lot of space to dine in if you chose to do so. It is always clean, so that's a plus. The staff are also efficient and polite, but they don't have a lot of time for pleasantries, so just be aware of that. Next, THE FOOD. I have to say, the food is delicious. I love the different fruit and veggie mix-ins and that each bowl can be made custom to your likes. I've had the tuna, salmon and tofu as my main proteins in the past and each have been wonderful. I do strongly advise against including the seaweed salad as a topping/ mix-in. It doesn't taste real and it kind of ruined my bowl, I had to pick it all out. Pokeworld is worth a visit and I'll definitely be back! read more

My second favorite poke shop in the area. Keep in mind, this is not Hawaiian style poke.. none of them are in Denver but it's tasty and fresh and they are very generous with their portions. The regular size bowl is very filling for $12. It's really a great deal. Ben the owner is so kind and friendly. This place is really well run, the prices are great, almost every mix in is free, and the fish is delicious! This is my favorite work lunch spot downtown. They masterfully serve a busy downtown work crowd, the line is long but moves super fast! I enjoy all the different sauces, doing half half salmon and tuna, and half half rice and salad mix. At most places I feel guilty for complicated orders, but this place is made for it, since the staff are all so efficient and skilled in compiling your bowl. The place is also easy to stay and eat, with lots of seating, and a cute poke mural across the wall. I'm so happy poke is a thing now, since I can get a diverse healthy lunch that is different than something I would pack myself. read more

Thanks to the Yelpers! Based on reviews, I went here for lunch (I'm from out of town) and ordered ahead. Ordered through the Yelp app and it was great - food was ready on time. The food itself was ok. The fish is fresh (kinda of a must for poke) but the other items were not - mango had been frozen, as was the corn and edamame. I thought at least the mango and corn would be fresh. Also, the rice is not sushi rice, so that was disappointing. But otherwise, decent poke - next time I'd add an extra order of protein. read more

It appears all of the poke varieties are mixed with some type of bonding agent versus just "naked" poke like you would get in Hawaii. Ordered my lunch there today. I miss poke. After having left Hawaii 10 years ago, it's hard to come around this kind of food. Generous serving sizes, fresh ingredients. Tasty, I ordered spicy Tuna and spicy Salmon and some shrimp. I would have preferred the fish in cubes rather than the almost tartar like version and I would recommend more sauce/marinade. That in particular because I ordered it with brown rice. But that's an easy fix. Other than that, very good. read more

It is pretty traditional and offers a ton of additional seasonings and toppings on top of the decent portion of fish. Yay for poke!! This was my first Denver poke experience, and it was a pretty good one! The portions were HUGE. And the amount of toppings you could choose from was insane, in a really good way. The spicy tuna bowl I had from PokeWorld was delicious!! It was nice to be able to customize my order without a lot of extra cost (except for avocado). It tasted fresh and full of flavor with just the right amount of spicy. It was nice to be able to order through yelp and their partnership with GrubHub since I didn't feel like leaving my hotel room. I made a mobile order for the restaurant next door and walked in here on accident. The owners got very passive aggressive with me. I felt bad and decided to buy food here instead. The food had a hair on it. The service was slow. And the owners really under whelmed on hospitality. I also saw them bullying a new worker. I've eaten here twice and LOVED it. In Hawaii poke bowls are so common that you could order one at the Safeway deli counter. The Mainland is just catching on to how healthy and delicious and filling these things can be. PokeWorld offers great value for fresh fish. The portions are generous and have quality toppings - sweet tomatoes, corn, furikake, ogo seaweed, etc. The fish options are limited - tuna, salmon or tofu - but I think it's better to do everything on the menu well instead of having too many options. Though it would be nice to have a Hamachi option as a special sometime. The location is easy to miss and I hope they will last. This place is the bomb. Aka seriously delicious. I'm all about yummy eats at the right price and for $11, its totally worth it. Large portions (I get the small bowl and am STUFFED), great quality fish (I do 50/50 tuna and salmon) - love the large chunks, and awesome, wide range of toppings. The first time I did "everything" which was kind of overwhelming and led to a mismatch of flavors. Since then, I'm more selective to find the perfect balance of toppings. I've also learned to ask for extra sauce so they mix the spicy shoyu sauce with the rice base first - otherwise there's not enough flavor/sauce in my opinion. The employees are nice and super patient (I had loads of questions on my first visit). I've told all my coworkers about this place and they all love it too.
