Everything here is perfect. Service, food, and environment. Fresh ingredients prepared in front of you. And prices were spot on. And great recommendations by the staff. Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely come back here!

Best poke ever! Don't forget to visit Sake Jon's ask for the nachos, bees knees and tell them to play some Zeppling in their old school player.

I will start off with saying that the service and staff were very nice and friendly. They told us about their speakeasy/bar (Sake Jon's) located in the back outside. The food, was okay and not your traditional poke bowl. I didn't like that you couldn't see what you were being served because it was covered. Most places allow you to see what's being served so you can better decide what toppings you'd like. I also found it odd that they use jasmine rice instead of sushi rice, which tends to stick together better. My pokeritto fell apart after the first bite and was super messy. The best part of this place is Sake Jon's, which is the speakeasy located in the back serving great cocktails! 5 stars for this unique and super cool bar. There's a living painting, which was a new concept for me. The bartender was amazing and told us about the origins of the place and how he ended up in Blue Ridge. Overall, a must visit to Sake Jon's!

We were excited to try this restaurant based on friends' recommendations but were left flat after their failure to communicate THEN doubling down with rude and name calling replies to my low FB review. Our dining experience: We spent 45 minutes ordering online and driving into Blue Ridge only to find signs on Poke Jon's door stating they were "closed for remodeling" - with NO updates on their actively updated FB page, website OR online ordering page like a reputable, responsible business!?! All of those showed OPEN.. Then they replied to my review and said they had a "machine go down" - which would have been a little more understandable and "urgent" in nature than a scheduled remodeling but... The reason for the unannounced closure isn't super important in the overall communication but flip flopping on why they're closed seems problematic. They have advised via their replies that we should take our business elsewhere, which we'll gladly do - so no personal review of their food but definitely not where we'll spend our hard-earned dollars based on their value of customers! Save some time and head to Kizuna's Japanese Restaurant to begin with - that's where we ended up. I guess everything happens for a reason! ‍

Really fresh and tasty. I had the tuna poke on Jasmin rice with pickled carrots, corn, green onions, and pineapple. I had a choice of sauces and chose teriyaki. I also got double tuna and my bill was around $18. Pretty fair with double meat. Very filling.

Stopped in after picking apples. Great fresh option for lunch. They have Vegan option with a tofu bowl. The have salmon and tuna poke along with chicken. It was perfect for what the 4 of us needed.

I came here for my birthday dinner to enjoy some fresh poke and hang out in their lovely speakeasy style bar in the back. I really loved the decor of this place. It had a very fun atmosphere and plenty of seating options! The poke was delicious and really good portion for price. The employees were so kind and the bartender made me a special birthday cocktail with Japanese strawberry gin! Not something that was on the menu, but definitely something delicious !!!! I would go back if I was in blue ridge & I recommend it to you!

Food was amazing!!! Best poke bowl I've ever had. Great tasting food for a good price. Service was good as well, although they waited on my friends before me and automatically assumed we were separate so they started doing other stuff before helping me. There were at least 5 minutes where I stood waiting to be helped. When I said we were together they apologized they "didn't think we were together" and started making my bowl. I think it was because my friends "looked different" than I did so they thought I was on my own? I'm not really sure. When we went the AC inside was broken so it was super hot so we had to sit out back, which thankfully wasn't hot but pretty dingy and we had bugs attacking us.

My cosmo in front always delicious! Kyle makes the best drinks!

Dinner at Poke Jon's was a fresh bowl for me-The Monroe! After dinner we went next door for great music, cocktails and conversation. Such a great vibe! Be sure to stop in when you're in town:)

Fabulous food, fabulous service! We would come back if we were locals for sure! I was kinda nervous in Blue ridge--sometimes I got some funny looks (being Asian-American) but this place was ULTRA kind & super friendly.

Don't go on a Sunday afternoon due to it being super filled with people. Second visit wasn't well. The lady at the counter didn't receive my order correctly, my husband had his meal and ate it before they corrected mine.(roughly 20 min) They have a partial refund which is fine. We will be taking a break for a while. The worker that took my order didn't seem happy and had quite an attitude. The manager came to fix it right away.

Unlike a Japanese hibachi grill, there is no expert to cook provided for your table - YOU are your own cook here! My "date" chose the hot spot, I chose the grill. Both were all-you-can-eat servings which allow you to choose two meats (12-15 total options) and several veggies or sides from their long list (30+) of selections in each round (to limit waste, which makes sense). My favorite was the volcano steak, which included great seasoning and super tender meat. It's not the highest quality meat you'll find, but that's too be expected in an all-you-can-eat concept. The environment was fun except for the unbelievable large video screen on the back wall that is too bright and obnoxious like some digital billboards! The delivery robot that delivered certain items to tables was an interesting curiosity especially for the kids at the tables around us. The best part of our experience was the service, which was very attentive and responsive and included lots of instructions and patience to coach rookie like us to the this cooking concept. She also gave very helpful suggestions that helped us pick from the long left of menu selections. Fun experience although not cheap! We would do it again just because it's truly unique.

The buffet was around $60 for all-you-can-eat crab legs, which sounded promising. Unfortunately, like many others have mentioned, the crab legs were cold when we first got them. They were overcooked and lacked flavor. We did manage to get a fresher batch later, which was better, but still not great. The promotional video online clearly had some Hollywood magic--what we experienced was far from what was advertised. Overall, the buffet was a letdown. Much of the food wasn't fresh, most dishes were bland, and a few were downright inedible. The crab cakes looked like sausage patties and were just as tough. The fried oysters were slimy and mushy--not the kind of texture you expect, even for oysters. I love fried oysters, but these were a hard pass. The crab-stuffed flounder was bland, though the stuffing tasted more like what a crab cake should taste like. The frog legs were surprisingly decent and did taste like chicken. Mussels and clams were a disappointment. Green beans tasted like they came straight from a can, and the mac and cheese reminded me of frozen Stouffer's. The peel-and-eat shrimp were good, but the raw oysters were a disaster--visually unappealing and smelled off. And yes, September is an "R" month, so they should've been fine. We asked for fresher ones, and what we got still didn't pass the sniff test. I love raw oysters, but I wasn't about to risk it. Vegetable options were limited: mushrooms (which were good), canned green beans, corn on the cob, and fried okra. Service from our waitress, was hit-or-miss and didn't leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was awkward--no music, just the hum of kitchen staff talking. It felt more like a quiet cafeteria than a lively restaurant. While that made it easy to chat with our party, it also made the overall vibe feel stale. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean. But for the price, it wasn't worth it--and we won't be returning.
