My first time having Poke here in the Charleston area and it didn't disappoint. I stumbled on Poke Bros, they have many location but I ended up at the Summerville one. Upon arriving I was the only customer so the service was quick and friendly. I ordered a rice based bowl that contains: Spicy Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Seaweed Salad, Crab Meat, Masago, Edamame, Ginger, Corn, Crispy Onions, and Ponzu sauce. I really enjoyed the fish as I found it to be very fresh and well seasoned with their spicy sauce. The sides were good too as it complimented the proteins. Restaurant is spacious they have tables outdoors as well as plenty inside as well. It's well kept and neat so I didn't find an issue there. I definitely enjoyed this poke spot and will be back to provide an updated review one day. Overall a great spot to get a poke fix if you're down in the Charleston area. read more

I wanted to update my review for Poke Bros based on my most recent experience. I received a $10.00 off coupon in the mail and I redeemed it today. Immediately after entering the location I noticed one employee assisting the customer in front of me, instead of making me wait another young woman appeared literally out of nowhere and offered to take my order and my coupon. She was professional, and attentive to any substitutions that I requested, and was more than willing to make my Hula bowl the way that I wanted it. I was in and out in no time, she did not make me feel rushed and most importantly my bowl was very good! It was filled with the fresh ingredients they always provide. I would recommend this place. We were greeted upon entering and the place was clean, modern, and ready to serve! Do yourself a favor and order spicy kani salad for a side if you like kani that is! The mochi ice cream was a nice and different desert. We had not had Mochi before. The Belgian chocolate was my fave out of the three we tried! I think there are 10 (maybe 8) already designed bowls you can choose from or make your own bowl with endless options. I definitely took a little while trying to decide what I wanted to try together. I'm sure by the way her tone changed, that my delayed time in figuring out what I wanted, annoyed the girl working there, but it was my first time trying the place and with so many options. Eventually I went with the sushi rice base (I asked for a smaller amount that what she said was normal bc it's A LOT), spicy tuna, seaweed salad, edamame, onions, avocado, crab, spicy aioli, sesame seeds. $16.50 was fair for a bowl that had lasted me about 3 meals now. I loved this place until I witnessed what looked like the manager blowing his nose in his HANDS! I walked in, ordered my food and sat outside to eat. The manager was outside by the curb talking on the phone, he then starts to blow his nose into his hands multiple times. I had the #2 bowl with the tuna. It was just ok. You get a lot of rice and onions, but not enough of the good stuff. I've eaten at the North Charleston location a couple of times and it was definitely better.
