He didn't try to upsell or act too fake or flattering like some of the salespeople at other companies do. We communicated mostly over email with Jeana, who was kind and responsive as well. The install went very smoothly and only took an hour or so. My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials. I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The paperwork and payment were all online so it was very easy to do. Overall a smooth process and good work done.

Three years ago I went through a nightmare of a process to cancel my service with this company and after 3 months I was able to cancel and settle my account with them and was assured I owed nothing further. This was only after I sent in a complaint to the BBB that I received a phone call back and was able to settle with a retention officer who advised me I owed nothing more to the company. I called optimum after the collection agent call, and they informed again that I owed nothing, then they said they had another account under my middle name and that I did owe money. After talking to three different people I was able to talk to a supervisor. The supervisor than checked all accounts and found I owed nothing, then found more accounts, I'm not sure how many they have made for me, and found that I supposedly didn't return an equipment. I don't have any of their equipment and three years ago returned what I had. then After advising the supervisor of this he then said I may have late payments that were written off do to my settlement that I may owe more money. He also said the equipment was written off then put back on my account and sent to collections and their was some fraud on the account but not on their end of course. I don't know what he was talking about. I was hoping I would never hear from this company again and after the conversation with the supervisor sounds like this wont end. I may have to contact a lawyer about this.

He continues to go on and state there is another patient that the technician or the doctor had to see and she was the only one that could adjust or fix the glasses. He then went on to ask questions if I purchase the glasses from their store, and if not, I would have to sign a waiver, which I said that is fine, but he continue to go on how I would have to wait deterring me to stay. He continue to be disgruntled and started to discuss with another colleague about me. He then started to talk to his colleague about the situation and it was interesting because I was hearing them talking and they were talking about me and how I came in 15 to 20 minutes before they're closing and how they wanted to go home on time. No customer service no professionalism in their field just a bunch of white privilege individuals who think they can speak to anybody disrespectful. Obviously this practice is making enough money to treat new or old customers anyway they want, ironically, people like this in the medical field. Need to understand this is not a 9-to-5 job. Very disappointed I highly recommend that you do not go to this office and share with family members and friends. My first set of counters had two different sheens which should have been caught by both the manufacturer and installer. I opted to get it fixed because I shouldn't have to settle. The second set of counters were miscut, which the installer saw and said it could be fixed by paint. Dan did offer to remake one of the counters but it would have extended the counter past the backsplash...something I have never seen. I settled for a modest discount as I didn't see a way forward since both the manufacturer and installer do not care about quality. I thought I could find a company to come out to fix the issues, but I'm left with a substandard project. Dan Good may be great on other types of counters but I would not use them for laminate countertops.

It completely lacks a breakdown of labor costs, individual part numbers, or the specific pricing for the components used. I have called the office 3 times requesting a standard itemized receipt for my records, but they continue to give me evasive answers. As a customer, I have a right to know exactly what parts were installed and what I am paying for. Hiding the breakdown makes it impossible to verify if the pricing is fair or if the correct parts were actually used. Avoid this company if you value honest, transparent business practices.
