We endorse him without reservation. We had asked for a quote to replace our air conditioning/heating unit. Rick arrived promptly and in uniform (shirt and trousers). There are very few techs, who show up easy to identify the company they work for by their appearance. After introducing himself and confirming the purpose of the visit, Rick went right to it. He identified quickly that our AC unit, and consequently the air return opening in the ceiling, is too small for the house square footage. He also advised us that the air flow in the current ducts is too low by taking a meter reading. In fact, each of his observations was based on readings from devices, not personal guesses. In our parting discussion, Rick noted in detail an additional aspect of our cooling system, which is no longer compliant with industry standards and how we could address it. Rick completed a fairly thorough investigation of our system and presented his findings and his suggested resolutions in a way we could understand. It's one thing to be a thorough expert, but it's quite another to be able to explain the findings in a way that the customer(s) will be able to make an educated decision how to proceed. From the first meeting, he was on time, focused, and genuinely cared about finding the best solution for us. What really impressed us was that he never acted like a salesperson -- no pressure, no upselling, just honest advice and real expertise. Another thing that stood out is that Hektor was hands-on throughout the entire project. He did the work himself with the help of his team, but he was clearly the one leading and making sure every detail was done right. He even came back to go over details in person and worked with us so we could pay for materials with our credit card, which made things so much easier to manage. Even when Phoenix had an unusual week of rain, he stayed in touch to make sure our materials were safe.
