After a few not-so-pleasant experiences with other insurance agents in New Hampshire and in the…read moreWorcester area I quizzed a bunch of people about where they'd go for a full range of insurance services. A lot mentioned some older firms and some talked about a few companies that were well known but too big to understand an individual's needs. Having occasionally dealt with James Henningan, Jr., on professional basis I quizzed him on his agency. I let him know that I wasn't the world's best driver and that I had had more than a few unpleasant experiences with other agencies. He listened, explained how his agency operated, said "Try us," and said that I'd see immediate savings. My first bill was 12 percent lower than with my previous agency! That was 14 years ago. Let's see...4 accidents, a couple of frantic last-minute calls and four cars later I've found the service provided by Hennigan to be fast, professional, informative, and customer focused. What I've been most impressed with is the time and patience they've taken in reviewing my needs and educating me on how I can tailor a policy that meets those needs without adding on a lot of extras. Over time they've also pointed me in the direction of less costly alternatives to services available at work or from other providers. I've dealt with Hennigan for a number of years and look forward to continuing to do so in the future.

The staff at Guard Insurance (a) had no copy of my insurance policy in their files and (b) had to forward my questions to the insurance company for answers rather than themselves being competent enough to help me interpret those. At one time they even directed me to the "parent" company Quinn Insurance for answers. I was naive enough to think Guard Insurance represents my interests. Through this devastating experience I have found out that they truly protect the interests of the Insurance companies they sell policies for, not the customer. Buyer beware.
