Point City Donuts is the new name since 2016. Donuts are light and fluffy. Delicious.

Blazing through West Point and I catch a familiar chicken place. Connie's must be growing because I have seen them in a few towns now. If you know anything about me at all, it's that I love fried chicken. Any and all of it. I'll tolerate pretty much anything, and anyone's behavior, as long as there is a promise of fried chicken later, or in the near future, at least. So I drop in for some Fried Livers. It's not every chicken place that has them. As soon as I saw Connie's I knew what was up. I almost hit three people turning in across traffic. I step up to order and wait. .... ...... .......... There are multiple employees but one lady seems to be trying to do it all. Unsuccessful is her attempt though. It's the lady in yellow in my pics. I finally ordered and go wait as she said she was dropping them fresh. Hell yea! After 12-15 mins I go up front and they are discussing why they have an extra plate of livers with mashed potatoes. Mind you, no one else has come in and ordered since I did, so I am really confused. I stand there and they act like they cannot see me. I interrupt and explain that I still don't have food and it still doesn't click in this lady's head. I then explain that was my food you just discussed. Lights go off, she catches up, and I go to sit to wait more.................. At least they were fresh when she arrived. I would have burned my first chicken bridge for that mess. She came up and was all proud that she had wasted more of the owners money by giving me two or three times as much food as she should have, even went to so far as to suggest I take a box home with me. I ate my fill, which was way less than half of what she gave me, and threw the rest away in defiance. Don't tell me what to do unskilled chicken lady! You ain't the boss of me, and apparently anyone else, either. LOL I still love you though Connie.... We still good. I'll see you soon baby. '25 - 32/111

Located in the heart of the Cotton District behind the "famous" BIN612 of the "Cheese Fries" fame. Mini doughnuts are prepared to order and come out piping hot in a reasonable amount of time. However I could see them getting backed up quickly at peak times. We chose the Cookies & Cream, Lemon Cheese Danish, Strawberry Funnel Cake and Turtle flavors to try. The base of all the doughnuts is a vanilla cake batter cooked to order with various glazes and toppings used to create the many flavors. We both agreed that our favorite was the Turtle and liked the Cookies & Cream the least. It was the only one would probably not order again. There is no seating, you order at one window and pick up at another when ready. As my daughter suggested, I imagine that they do a really good amount of business staying open late after some of the other district establishments are closing or calling for last round. I will definitely come back to try more flavors and I'm sure my daughter & her friends with pick some up for a late night "studying" boost regularly as well.
