My top coffee pickup place in Starkville! The management is so nice and has been very accommodating in the past, and even gave me a gift card when something I had once was not very good. Their iced coffees are very good, especially the ones with the cold foam. I always look forward to their season on drink. They have rotating breakfast and lunch options, including some gluten-free and dairy free. Their scones are absolutely fantastic!! The actual coffee tasted amazing and fresh. The price point was amazing, however I asked for heavy cream in my coffee and it was more cream than coffee. They also had so many options, sugar free too, and gluten free which is amazing. The smoothie was ok, I did love the chia seed pudding but wish it had fruit or something. It's definitely worth trying and better than Starbucks. I would come again and maybe emphasize the splash of hc even more and try the gf paste. read more

Obsessed with the cutest and most relaxing coffee spot in Starkville! The vibes are great for studying with lots of natural lighting and seating. They even have outdoor seating too. The service is very friendly and quick. I got the churro latte and the monkey bread muffin, and it was sooo delicious! We actually came back the next day and got the smoothie bowl and cinnamon roll too. You cannot go wrong with anything you order here because everything is so delicious! I am always satisfied with Coffee Depot. I have tried everything on their menu from their smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee lattes, Matcha lattes, scones, biscuits, cookies, and more! Today I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter and cream cheese and ended up waiting a little bit longer than normal (which I did not mind). The sweet staff courteously apologized and explained there were new staff in training...(but didn't use it as an excuse) she handed me a gift card to make up for the "mistake". I visited this place again on my way out of town and had a similar experience to my first one. The scone way yet again, FANTASTIC, but my coffee was not anything to get excited about. In fact, my drink this visit was definitely more disappointing than my last one. It was not very crowded on a Sunday morning and I was served very fast. The jalapeno honey goat cheese scone (which I ordered because of other reviews) is so so so good. I am all about a sweet treat and would love to try their other scone flavors, but I do not think I can come back to this place and not order this scone every time I visit. It's cheese, slightly sweet, and has the perfect kick, all in a melt-in-your-mouth scone. It does not get much better than this. My drink, an iced churro latte was ehh. It tasted more like milk than anything, with no parts of the cinnamon bun or caramel flavoring it claimed to contain coming through. It gave me the caffeine I needed for the drive, but that was it. I will always come back here for the food, but honestly might just stick with a drip coffee after that last drink. read more

Rude staff, all 3 times I've been in here. freezing cold inside, coffee is so gross. Uncomfy chairs. I got the Twix cold brew today and it was simply the worst drink that I've ever gotten from a coffee shop. I can't remember what I got last time, but it was so gross I threw it away too. I've had a cookie & the monkey bread muffin from here. Pastries are good, pricey, but I understand that. My fiance and I decided to try this place one afternoon and unfortunately both of our drinks (vanilla latte and churro latte) tasted like nothing but thick water. Ordered a scone, but was given the wrong scone, which happened have nuts in it. I have a slight allergy to nuts, so knew immediately that something was wrong. I brought it to the cashier's attention and she said she'd bring me out the correct scone. I visited with my friends and sipped my coffee drink, but the scone was never brought out. Disappointing visit. Food safety take away for Coffee Depot: Nut allergies are real and can be serious. Be conscientious and careful that you are delivering what the customer ordered. Customer service take away for Coffee Depot: If you tell the customer that you're doing something to better their blemished experience, do it. Otherwise the bad visit just got much worse.
