Ben was really great to speak to for our first conversation and discovery to understand what we were hoping to have captured throughout our wedding day. Then Bailey took over to coordinate things leading up to the big day and she was speedy to communicate, had suggestions for us on timing and number of hours to purchase, and kept us in the loop on timing for our questionnaire as well as who we would be working with on the day of as our filmmaker. Here's why: INTRODUCTION: Anna and Artem are fully committed to giving you a final product that is reflective of your relationship, and that truly shows every step of the way. After initially reaching out for a quote, A&A asked us to met them at a cafe to get to know each other better. This alone was an amazingly thoughtful step and allowed us to feel comfortable with each other prior to our wedding day. RATES: Yes, 312 Film is more expensive than some other vendors, but we loved that their package was simple and straightforward--no upgrades and extras. If you're investing in a wedding video at all, it's worth going big and preserving your day in the best way possible. With them you get more than a camera for a couple of hours, but gifted storytellers and editors who are dedicated to showcasing your wedding in a way that's better than you even remember. WEDDING DAY: I'll never forget the moment Anna showed up (Artem was in large part with my groom--which is another HUGE perk of booking the two of them), she walked over to my stressed self and was an incredibly calming presence, crouching down while I was getting my make-up done and holding my hand to say hello in such a soothing way. I immediately knew that whatever happened, I had the most capable crew and absolutely nothing to worry about. Throughout the day, they were so thoughtful and considerate and really worked hard to collaborate with our photographer (someone they hadn't worked with before), being patient and scrappy to get the perfect shot when time wouldn't always allow. They also give the best direction, making me, someone who's awkward at best, look effortlessly beautiful on camera. I still wish I had some of their video shots as stills! Also, having a drone might sound extra, BUT IT IS SO WORTH IT. PRODUCT: First of all, not enough can be said about the next-day clip. It may seem unnecessary on paper, but when you wake up the morning after your wedding a jumble of emotions and "did that just happen?" thoughts, it's the most incredible gift to receive. I IMMEDIATELY burst into tears upon seeing it and was so excited to share. Weeks later, I had the same teary eyed reaction to our highlight video which was perfectly edited to tell such a meaningful story of our relationship and marriage. I loved every minute--and when there were three shots that I was self-conscious about, they were so easy to work with in providing an edit. As for the full length, the one added cost of working with 312Film, DO IT. I can't imagine our wedding day being whittled down to 8-minutes, and this cut is just perfect in capturing every second--including the ones we don't quite remember. All that said, I wish I could hire Anna and Artem to video our entire life. They are ABSOLUTELY amazing, worth every penny, and genuinely great people. My only regret is it took me this long to write a review!

I'm a freelance videographer and photographer, I've been a Magnanimous customer for almost 2 years…read morenow. The gear selection is top notch and super affordable. Time after time, I've had great customer service from the rental department--these guys know their gear well, and know how to troubleshoot issues quickly. For my last rental, someone set up my gimbal rig after I placed my order and sent me pictures to illustrate where wireless receiver should go. I've never been helped like that before. Also, Magnanimous has created many "how-to" videos to explain their gear selection to anyone browsing their website. Those videos are super-helpful when selected gear you've never used before. One of the only issues I have with Magnanimous is their online checkout process. For some reason, I cannot get my credit card to process correctly on their website, even though my information is saved through my account wth them. Therefore, I usually call in my order and have someone send me an email confirmation right away. Not ideal, but it works. They also offer one (now two!!) impressive rental studios for hourly or day rates. And there's a 10% gear discount when you shoot in one of the studios. vvCool. I'll be coming back here for years to come!
