Mr. Johnson did an excellent job of communicating with us prior to the wedding to ensure that he met our needs and knew the order of events; communicating with the venue to arrange set-up location and times; and he discussed the ceremony order again prior to the beginning of the wedding in case we made changes (which we did), and he easily adapted to the changes. During the wedding and ceremony, he and his assistant were unobtrusive in getting a record of all the events, and everyone responded happily to him when asked to give advice or feedback on video . We're so glad we had him do the video because there were so many things that we missed seeing while we engaged with guests. We have watched the video numerous times since the wedding and it feels like that day all over again!!! Well done, Mr. Johnson!!!!

The first thing myself and others noticed was that Jimmy put a great amount of time into planning for our event, even though the video was going to be quite short. It was great to communicate with the Shot Time team frequently during the planning phase- it was apparent that they strive to create exactly what a customer is hoping for. Arriving early (in sub-zero temperature), the crew was clearly a group of professionals- making last minute adjustments, advising about camera angles/room lighting, and other aspects that we did not realize could affect the video. Everyone was impressed by the professionalism of the team and the quality of the video equipment. The event was a great success, and the final cut of the video that Shot Time created was fantastic. Our "trailer" came out around September, only 1 month after our wedding. So they work fast! I'll be honest by saying that finding a videographer that fits you is SO hard. I think TPP was the 3rd vendor we researched. My husband did most of the communicating with Frank leading up to our big day and had no issues whatsoever. The day of our wedding, the videographers were AMAZING and polite. We had them come early to my hotel to film part of that and the first look. The rest of the day, I didn't even notice them filming. They were professional and just blended into the background. We are extremely happy with the process, and the result. I would recommend them to all couples looking for a video vendor!

I interviewed more than 10 videographers in Chicago to get a sense of whose team fit my needs better, and Turning Point Productions definitely stood out the most for its fair pricing and impeccable work. First of all, this team was always responsive when I had a question or concern. I never met Frank, the editor, or Katie, the studio manager, but they were always available via emails or phone. I talked to Frank many times on the phone before I booked, and he understood exactly what I wanted and what I didn't. He ensured me that there will be no "hand-held effect" in my video, and he was very flexible with my wedding timeline. The team of two videographers arrived on time and dressed appropriately on my wedding day. They were very polite and detail-oriented. They captured all the important moments I requested such as first look with my husband and when my dad put down my blusher before walking me down the aisle etc. For all the fun parts like opening the dance floor, of course they did an amazing job as well. They also filmed in some unexpected angles that ended up making the whole video very touching! Frank is an excellent editor, and I'm not saying this because he did such a wonderful job at editing my video. I was so confident in him and his skills even before booking. His portfolio was very self-explanatory. When I received my trailer just seven days after my wedding, I was so touched by he told the story and all the special moments captured.
