I asked for a quote and immediately received an answer by Alex. He explained everything clearly and provided with a link to upload the file, and even suggested a new codec conversion so the file could have its greatest quality. He even responded to my questions during weekend days. Alex also sent the transfer directly to the festivals requesting the DCP of my documentary. I was told that my order, "is not worth their time," and "to try another place with lower quality software because I could not afford them." the truth is, I have two feature films and DID have the money to burn, but I was being ripped off. They will charge you for service that you don't need and then spin it by saying, "There's is higher quality," when in reality their blu ray duplication and service is less than sub-par. I live right by this place so it was solely a convenience factor. AVOID this place unless you want to spend $5K for ONE sub-par quality blu ray master copy of tour film. Also, be aware that they will not tell you options that could be done on your own to shave a few bucks off the final bill. Trust me, they will nickel and dime you to death and then insult you if you question the $2K here and the $1.5K there that they slap on your total. The "Alex K" that I delt with, was by far the rudest person that I have encountered and I have used dozens of media duplication services over the last 17 years. This place is ONLY for people that have $10K to waste on frivolous fees and don't care about the quality of the final project. I will use another local place for my mass volume or 20,000 blu rays and DVDs because it is unacceptable to put up with rude and unhelpful staff that insult your intelligence thinking you won't notice how they are ripping you off! I would try another place to get the quality you want, at a reasonable price and with an actual person that KNOWS how to properly and respectfully treat ALL their customers, not just the high rollers with $100K to burn on sub-par quality.
