The music with the video matched perfectly. My wife and I were very pleased. She is a tough critic too. My sister was the wedding planner and Jimmy had great communication with her. I did a lot of research before choosing my videographer and happy i ended up with Shot Time. Jimmy's pricing was reasonable and he is very professional The only thing is i wish i used Jimmy for my other event as well. Being a Indian/Pakistani wedding we have multiple events. I ended up using another company for my second event. Though the end product was good as well, getting to that was little more difficult than working with Jimmy

The first thing myself and others noticed was that Jimmy put a great amount of time into planning for our event, even though the video was going to be quite short. It was great to communicate with the Shot Time team frequently during the planning phase- it was apparent that they strive to create exactly what a customer is hoping for. Arriving early (in sub-zero temperature), the crew was clearly a group of professionals- making last minute adjustments, advising about camera angles/room lighting, and other aspects that we did not realize could affect the video. Everyone was impressed by the professionalism of the team and the quality of the video equipment. The event was a great success, and the final cut of the video that Shot Time created was fantastic. Working with these professionals was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Being from…read moreLA, I wasn't familiar with the companies out there so choosing any company was a total shot in the dark. I had a few days to hire a crew and I called around to several businesses and individual professionals...I found the town was busy, and the options were limited. Most people I talked to, was a mix between fielding a lot of strange questions and negotiating what I could expect with the limited budget I was working with...nothing that filled me with a lot of confidence. I'm generally skeptical of negotiating with someone I've never worked with and can't assess the experience/quality of what it is that I'm negotiating. Moreover, as someone who works in film and tv in Los Angeles, I wanted some certainty that the quality in Chicago would be the same as what I was familiar with my network back in LA. I was running out of time, when a good friend recommended Ben Mahoney's company. From the minute I talked to Ben, he immediately put me at ease. He listened to my specific production needs and worked with me on the budget to find a solution. He could not have been more accommodating at what I considered to be the 11th hour! He definitely understood the type of shoot we were doing and the logistics of the space and sent his crew supplied with what he though would work for the shoot. I couldn't have been happier with his crew. His guys came ready, experienced and worked perfectly in sync with each other. I had a great experience! Now if I could get them to come out to LA...
