They were the very FIRST thing I booked for my wedding!! The first time I viewed their website (Feb. 2010), my fiance came into the room to find me crying my eyes out... 'We HAVE to have them do our wedding!' (This was especially confirmed when they updated the 'About the Team' video with a PERFECT reenactment of the intro to 'The Wonder Years') It was the way they captured the aesthetic of the entire day and the mood and personalities of the people in each video. It is so tailored and perfectly edited with awesome music choices that make them so unique. They give 'The Notebook' a run for its money! (...and that's our favorite movie!) I had viewed the website so much over the next year and a half that when we finally got to meet with the team, I felt like I was meeting celebrities. They were just as I expected: professional, modern, laid-back, nothing but nice, entertaining, and so much FUN! We love the entire team, but we really loved our filmmaker, Louis!! He was a perfect match for us... He felt like an old friend and we had so much fun with him there. My husband and I are naturally a little awkward in front of cameras, but he made us feel comfortable and at ease. He was professional, on time, discrete, and he was excited/happy to be there which was awesome! We haven't received our video yet, but I absolutely cannot wait... We purchased the smallest package and I expect that it will be impossible for us to be disappointed. The Hightlight film is such an awesome idea for friends and family to watch without having to sit down for 6 hours... ALSO, something I thought was a great idea... You have the option to set up a registry account on the website so that family/friends/guests can donate towards your video. Even if you start your contract with the smallest package, you always have the option to upgrade if you receive a good amount in your registry. You will NOT regret it. I loved working with Matt. He is an amazing artist and hiring him was one of our best decisions regarding our wedding. Our video is fantastic and its amazing how different it is from our pictures - which I also love - but there is so much more emotion with the video. We were one of those couples that swore off videography in the original budget. However we relented and decided to find room if we found the right videographer, as I kept reading about how quickly the day goes and how much the bride misses. When we met with him the first time, my mom and her boyfriend happened to be in town so they came with us. All four of us liked him right off the bat. One of the things that really struck me about his videos, was that even though I didn't know the couple I really enjoyed watching them. I think this really speaks to his artistry and gift for the profession. He was great to work with during the whole process and really tries to work with each couple regarding their budget and what he can offer. We ended up taking one of his super 8 camera's with us on our honeymoon and he edited the footage into our wedding video. I am so happy with how it turned out. read more

We used I Do Films to do our Wedding Film. My only regret in writing this review as I can only give them 5 stars as we enthuiastically recommend them. This is something my wife wanted to do and candidly I was a bit skeptical. After a few hit and misses via e-mail, we had a face to face with Matt, one of the founders. Matt is extremely personable, straight shooting and gracious...not to mention surprisingly young. After viewing our wedding view, I emphatically add that he (and his team) are also ENORMOUSLY talented. They were able to capture the magical nuances of our wedding and made several useful suggestions to the photographers. They were also simply a lot of fun to be with the entire day. I've had several friends who have done wedding video's and the feedback and results have been mixed. We used I Do Films for our wedding film and we are so thrilled! The film was stunning and captured the wonderful feeling of the entire day. Watching it is like reliving the day - but without any of the day-of stress or nervous butterflies! The film set the tone so beautifully. The music was perfect and better than I even expected. I wasn't sure how the music choices would turn out because we didn't offer much direction, but I love how each song sets the energy and carries the story along. The editing and attention to detail was amazing and it captured things we had missed or forgotten. Videography is a must for a wedding and even more so when the product is this fantastic. I Do Films did an amazing job on our wedding video! At first my husband was reluctant to have a wedding video but now is completely glad that we did. It was one of the best suggestions our wedding planner gave us. After meeting with Lori and Matt at a consultation, I knew I wanted them to capture one of most important days of our lives. They had a truly unique style. They were able to catch all the small details, create a beautiful story and set it to just the right music. We used I Do Films for our April 2010 wedding, and it was the BEST decision we made about our wedding. Like many other couples, we were not very into the idea of a wedding videographer because the wedding videos we had seen from other friends were pretty cheesy. However I Do Films is a breath of fresh air in the wedding industry. Their work speaks for itself - all you have to do is view some samples on their website or blog to be 100% in love with their work. My husband and I watch our video regularly, and everyone we show it to is amazed at how good it is (and jealous that they didn't have I Do Films at thier wedding!) We got married in June and used I Do Films for our videography. My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the end result. I do films are as good as it gets for sure! We flew them out for our nj wedding on the water. They captured our beautiful 10-10-10 wedding in a way that I can't even put into words or put a price on!
