The worse place to buy a new car. I inspected one vehicle, took home that vehicle. I week later they call me and told me that I need to return that vehicle because the "put the wrong VIN unintentionally". The gave me another vehicle (everything was the same), but the vehicle had a lot of damages. I called Toyota and open a complaint and the dealership closed the complaint without even talked to me to see how to solve the issue. That sounds to me like FRAUD. Go somewhere else to buy a new vehicle. If you are military, DO NOT BUY IN POE TOYOTA. Every time I go there for warranty service, the vehicle comes out with scratches and damages. read more

If you're in the El Paso area please be cautious when buying a vehicle from Dick Poe Toyota. After owning the vehicle for five years we had a minor accident and when it was being inspected they found this on the back end. This car had been in an accident (that wasn't claimed) it had been welded together (unsafely). I was told that had we been hit from behind that the other car would've ended up in our backseat. I called the manager at the dealership and asked him if they sell cars without actually looking at it thoroughly. His response was that we must've done it. Why would we have put our family in danger for a car?! It is clear that they don't inspect their vehicles thoroughly or they just choose to oversee issues like this to sell a car. Dick Poe has been working on the same issue with multiple faulty repairs going on two years. As of 17 July the General Manager (Mr. Miller) now wants me to pay for another 3k estimated cost to tow the vehicle down to El Paso from Albuquerque so they can conduct another repair on the brand new engine they put in my 4runner. I brought vehicle in 07 September 2021 it for rough idle diagnostic. Problem was not diagnosed on service order 652646. Brought vehicle back 15 November 2021 for a missfire in cylinder 3 (service order 660280). informed cylinder heads needed replacement and block was not warped or damaged. Vehicle was returned to me 26 January 2022 Towed vehicle at my expense back to dick Poe on 22 February 2022 due to a tear in rear heater hose causing failure (service order 669230). Hoses were replaced at Sandia Toyota( formerly Larry H. miller) 10 August 2021 (invoice number 1002160). Hose was damaged during head replacement. I Brough vehicle back in 03 April 2023 for missfire in cylinder 3 again (service order 713650) at approx. 20k miles after cylinder head replacement. notified block was warped causing missfire and symptoms noted on service order 660280/652646. New engine installed, deducted cost of service order 660280 and I paid remaining $3,580. Vehicle was returned 27 July 2023 16 August 2023 I found a major oil leak at lower portion of the engine after only 2500 miles on new engine. Checked oil and it was extremely low. Leak is causing puddling and sprayed the whole undercarriage. Upon further inspection various side markers not fastened, and other notable defects from the engine repair. I have been without a primary vehicle for 205 days due to faulty repairs starting 07 September 2021 due to original rough idle/missifre diagnostic cylinder 3 Total cost repair costs: $7,699.48 Total rental car costs: estimated $1,500 Total tow service cost: estimated $1500 Total estimated invested: $10,699.48 Additionally: a steering repair was incorrectly completed (service order 652646) on 7 September 2021. My vehicle was returned on 10 September 2021. I traveled 250 miles and resulted in front tire damage due to the repair not being completed. vehicle went to Sandia Toyota (invoice number 1005480) to fix the previous dick Poe repair costing an additional $1359.42 plus tires (estimated $500 ). Total dick Poe repair: $1,526.26 Additional same day repair: $1,359 plus tires Total: est. $3,385 I do not recommend. There are other complaints of this nature on various review sites. Nor are they Soldier supportive. After the amount of money I have spent it's ridiculous they now want me to tow it back down on top of having to get yet another rental to get back and fort to work at Fort Bliss as a Soldier read more

Overpriced compared to majority of other good options in El Paso, Texas. Do yourself a favor and go to another mechanic with hybrid knowledge. I paid way more than I should have and received poor service response when I told them I went to another mechanic to have some work done. The price difference was 50% less at the other place. When I returned to have more work done at the dealership that was specific to the hybrid engine. I received poor service, bad attitude, and the the service customer care representative ignored my texts. In the past he never ignored me - it was only when I took my business elsewhere that was way cheaper - then I got the attitude. It's extremely unprofessional. I will not go back to them. I purchased a Tundra from Poe Toyota in 2015 and I have kept up with maintenance and I have always taken it there for maintenance. I've had minor issues like having my after market tire valve caps "lost" after taking it for a tire rotation. But recently I had a major issue happen because of these people's incompetence. I took it for an oil change in May 2025 and I never really check under the hood because I've never had issues and had never noticed any weird noises until now. Forwarding to November 2024, I woke up this morning and was going to an event with the family and when I started the truck I noticed a knocking noise so I go to open my hood and I see that there was no cap on my engine oil container and there's old oil all over the components. This means my truck has been running for over 6 months without an oil cap!! This has potentially permanently damaged my engine. This is unacceptable and clearly these people don't care about the quality of their work. This a serious issue and it can be easily fixed by implementing a simple component check before handing the customer their vehicle back to them. I've had other issues when taking my truck in for maintenance here but this on takes the cake, I mean who knows how much damage this has caused my truck, how much has it reduced the life of my truck, how can all the gunk gathered inside even be cleaned out, etc. This place needs to take accountability for destroying peoples vehicles because I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. read more

All I can say is "wow!" Pulled up to the express service lane and was greeted by Nathan. He was very professional, had a great attitude and was quick with helping coordination their shuttle service so that I could knockout some errands while waiting for my truck to be serviced and washed. Shuttle service was quick to get me where I needed to go but had to wait 1.5hrs for a ride back to the dealership. Lunch times may have contributed to the delayed pickup, but still poor assets/time management by employee/shift leadership, if that is the case. Suggest having team members available to fill-in for each other or stagger lunch times to avoid this issues for other customers in the future. If my vehicle was ready for pickup, this review would have reflected some different emotions/opinion. Shuttle driver, Fabian, was very friendly and major kudos for maintaining his professionalism while dealing with an inconsiderate customer that also shared a ride in the same shuttle. Overall, great experience that many others could learn from and should take notes! read more

I scheduled an appt for service through their site for 0830 on a friday morning, but when i got there a line of cars were already in queue for services.. so the best bet is probably to get there early for a walk in or mebe come later in the day? my oil change took just under 2 hours, so def be prepared to kill time.. but that also did include rotated tires and a quick rinse off the body.. i was charged a little extra for some stuff they apparently didnt think was worth mentioning to me. that is definitely not ok. the total cost was $49. A bit hefty, i think getting service here depends on whether u value brand or not. bit more safety and accountability for a higher price, unless u know a good local mechanic? I do not recommend this place for servicing your car. I had a situation before, but they fixed it after i put a negative review. So i gave them a chance again. Took car in for service, i have nitrogen in my tires, so i have green valve stem caps which indicate nitrogen. This people proceded to put air into 1 tire. Which is not right, in my opinion they should had ask me if i wanted to have air in my tire, which i would had said no. So they put air in my tire without asking me. When I told them they had to pay for me having to take it to another place to take air out n fill with nitrogen they said they dont do that, and thats their procedure to just put air regardless of air or nitrogen. Second, tire rotation should be crossing tires, they said they dont cross they just take front to back n back to front. I'll have to find another dealer while my free services are over, after that i will not take my cars there for nothing. read more

Scheduled maintenance service for my 2016 scion on the Dick Poe Toyota website. Scheduling my service appointment was very easy and I quickly received a confirmation via email for my appointment for Monday (yesterday) at 1:15. I arrived 10 minutes early and a gentleman quickly ran on over to take my information. He told me he was going to send someone else out to inform me what was going to be done to my car. Another employee came right on out and told me that unfortunately, they were not going to do my cars service since they were going home early due to it being Memorial Day.. At the moment I was very upset since I had driven far to get there for my service. I don't know why I couldn't get a phone call or an email letting me know that they weren't going to be able to work on my car since it was a holiday. They rescheduled me for today, and my experience was much better. The same employee helped me and took my car on back. I waited about two hours for my service and they were friendly and answered all my concerns. Great customer service just wish they would've called me to let me know they weren't going to do my car service on the day I had originally scheduled. read more

I am a customer from this dealership , I have purchased everything from this dealership but I do not feel like I am appreciated as a customer . Biggest issue is I purchased tires , and I was told I'd be fully covered by an insurance. Turns out that was not the case . I have since then paid for all the repairs on my tires out of pocket , I have been told that on various occasions parts have been needing replacement when this was not true . The experience was bad. Had an appointment for a 120k service at 7:30am and was given no estimate of how long it might take or how much it might cost. I was not given any update except for at 7:50am a call to say it was going to be looked at. At 10:45 I walked to the service advisor who informed me that they found a nail in one of the tires but that they were going to patch the tire and would take another 20-30 minutes. At about 11 I had paid and left and made it home. Then at 3pm got in the car with my wife and baby and noticed a low tire pressure light on and then saw that I had a completely flat tire. I called Poe back and they said they were almost closed and the manager was busy but that they would call Monday. But since I had to get the tire fixed or a new one for work Monday morning I got a tow to Costco on Sunday where they looked at the tire and informed me that no patch or fix was done on the tire. So Costco patched it and as of now, Monday afternoon, there's been no call from a manager and when I called at 2pm and asked for a manager the operator sent me to a line which did not pick up and left a vm. I would not recommend Poe Toyota and would encourage anyone to try elsewhere. While I was in the tow truck the tow truck driver said he had heard a lot of bad experiences from Poe but said if I wanted to stick with Toyota to try Fox Toyota. read more

I did not have a good experience here. My engine light came on, so I took it to a couple of places before being told that the Toyota dealership would be the only place that can reset my computer. Long story short, I DRIVE my car in with no problems, no rattling, no noises, no pulling, just a little light that says "check engine". Next thing I know they want to charge me more than the car is worth to replace the transmission. I started laughing when they told me the astronomical price they wanted, to do the work. So I ended up paying around $500 for the small part they did replace, & TOWED my poor car out of there! The transmission was completely messed up after that, I ended up having to junk it. I called Poe Toyota service department asking if they had spare tires to have replaced for my Camry, since I just had a blow out. They said yes we have 5 in stock. Ok cool let me head over and get this taken care of since I have warranty for my tires. I brought my car in around 3:30. We told the guy hey we have a blown tire we need fixed/replaced and since we are here go ahead and do an oil change since it was due in the next 3 days. We waited 3 hours for them to tell us they need to call the warranty department and submit a claim and wait for response for approval. The department they needed to call was already closed ok fine. Still no oil change! We asked to talk to the manager and apparently it was the manager who took my car and wrote up the ticket. So we had to wait even longer for them to do the oil change. I'm traveling and needed a 25000 service. Waited 30 min to be helped, was told it would take about 2 hours to have a vehicle serviced, business wasn't even busy (see attached photo), and the rep slapped a heavy magnetic number one my hood disrespecting my 2017 Toyota that I bought not him. I had to leave and felt like they were standing around and not working and didn't care about the customer . I've gone to dealerships in the Amarillo area and at least they respect their customers and get the work done. I'll just have to always plan my services North from now on, thought when I bought this Toyota I'd get good service at all dealerships. Guess I learned that lesson the hard way.
