**robin holmqvist, you own this company. wake up** whatever you do, do not use this company. do not buy from them. do not hire them for service. do not even waste your time calling them. pocono pool and spa has provided, without question, some of the worst customer service i have ever experienced in my life. no one answers the phone. emails go unanswered. there is absolutely no communication. when you do manage to get through to someone, you're told they're busy, with zero sense of urgency or accountability. i have been trying to get issues with my hot tub resolved for over a year. a year. it has been constant back and forth, chasing them for answers, trying to get someone from service to respond, and getting nowhere. once they have your money, good luck. you will feel like you're stranded on an island trying to get someone--anyone--to help you. i would not want my worst enemy to have to go through the experience i have had with this company. there are plenty of other companies out there selling and servicing pools and hot tubs. save yourself the frustration, the time, and the headache and go somewhere else. i cannot stress this enough: do not use pocono pool and spa. read more

TwoThumbs up to Stephanie and Dan at Pocono Pool and Spa!!! My pump broke July 4 weekend I called it went to voicemail but I didn't leave a message figured they were closed. She called back from caller ID and saved my Weekend. Instead of coercing into scheduling assured me I could do it myself! That was Friday so I went Saturday to buy a pump and Dan was working and he walked me through all the steps of what I'd have to do very helpful. I took the thing home got it hooked up and it's working great! Thank you, Dan and Stephanie! read more

Just a really bad company to work for. Poor service, very litigious. Their personnel is not skilled and make a lot of poor diagnostics. Then they send me letters that they will take me to court and make me pay for it. read more

These guys are pathetic when it comes to service. The fact that they are still in business is super surprising. Within years their product fails and service wait times are months long. These guys shouldn't be in operations if they cannot onboard staff for service . Writing a detailed note to Hot Springs to not have these guys as a authorized retailer. Do not waste any money here read more

Do not recommend. I purchased a hot tub back in April. It has been a hassle ever since. They stated they could not deliver the hot tub until late July even though it was sitting on their lot and I had to arrange for other arrangements. Previously I was told they would deliver the item by mid-June. I was then told I would receive a credit on my bill for arranging the delivery through an outside company, this was then taken back and a refund was never received. Then I have been waiting for over three weeks for the "guaranteed" service. Customer Service called me and gave me a date that would not work for me and then refused to supply another date. Everything has been poorly mismanaged and communicated from the start. read more

The absolute WORST!!!!! Holly is truly the rudest woman I have ever dealt with. not knowledgeable at all, not helpful at all, and she's lucky she can string two words in an email together that makes sense. Terrible representation for your company. The fact that you allow her to be this way says a lot about the respect you have for your clients. There is a reason you have a 2 star overall review and she's a major part of it. read more

Vicki is our girl! She sold us what she described as the "Rolls Royce" of all hot rubs and she was right. She was attentive from beginning to end and came over to our home twice to inspect the area that we would put the hot tub in and to give us an extensive training on how to use it. Thank you, Vicki! read more

Pocono Pool & Spa - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

A few years ago , pre Covid , I started looking into purchasing a pool heater. I decided on a Haywood , and did price searching , and found Pocono pool and Spa could provide a decent price. Which was a win win since they serviced our pool anyway. Liz , from Cresco office, was fantastic with the whole process. Pool Heater was installed and we were very happy. Last summer (end of year), my pool started loosing water. The liner was old and we made the decision to purchase a new liner. Again excellent experience! From Cresco POCONO Pool and Spa ! Holly helped with this experience. She constantly kept me in the loop , whether it be a family funeral she was attending or her daughters softball championship, a text was sent , acknowledging and addressing my concern. That service alone is something of a lost art ! The work was exceptional. The knowledge that Mikey ( pool technician) provided is amazing. Everyone always professional. Another tense nervous situation handle with ease and peace of mind. The whole staff collaborated and once again provided a beautiful product , with change leftover to boot !!!! To let you know more about the staff , another side note, a few years back while serving the pool , I noticed my cat was out while looking at home security while I was at work . I saw her by one of the PPS trucks. When I came home from work I could not find her. I left a message and sent a text to Holly. She immediately returned text , reached out to service guys to make sure cat was not in truck, since they were now on next service on route. Just peace of mind, and the fact that someone listened and cared , will always keep me as a customer . PS cat was just hiding !! Thankyou POCONO POOL AND SPA! read more

We have spent the late spring & entire summer getting our pool renovated. Very painful experience with endless delays, poor project management, inaccurate information, etc. They promised to coordinate with our electrical contractor then never contacted him. Other than we ended up with what we wanted by the end of August, I can't say anything positive about the experience. What should have taken 3-4 weeks took 4 months. We finally started getting communication about how it bothered them that the project wasn't done. Really?? read more

I hired them to open my pool like i do every year. I expected that my pool would be ready to use provided the temperature was warm enough to swim. Imagine my surprise when they left my pool swamp green. My son and mother were there watching them and confronted them as they were trying to leave and were told they do not have to make the pool not green it just has to have the correct ph. I called service the next morning after calming down and left a professional complaint message against their service. I received a call back 4 days later and spoke to Nina the service manager. She said she would look into it and asked for some pictures which i gladly emailed her. No reply but i received a bill for $380 for their professional services. I called back 2 more times and still no call back meanwhile my credit card was billed. Their service is horrible i probably will never use them again. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Request a quote for a new pool liner. They called, setup an appointment, never showed. We called, they apologized, their guy ran late. Setup new time, got to be after 6 PM, we had to run out, they supposedly showed up sometime after that. Sent a quote via email. Called, left message, no call back. Called the office again and asked for a person by name and was chastised for asking for that person, as she's the owner! Then the individual who took the call had no idea that there was someone already out and provided a quote. Wanted to sent someone out again. Then said it would be 3-4 months out before they could possibly do the work. So from the first request to completion would be 6 months, maybe! Go somewhere else! read more

A hot tub relieves my leg pain on a daily basis . When there was a small issue they made it right .will definitely recommend read more

They will SAY ANTHING to SELL SOMETHING. I brought them my used spa filter & they sold me a $32 filter they INSISTED was compatible. I tried to use it for a few days, but it didn't work or fit properly, so I brought it back. Although they admitted and apologized for their error, they refused to refund me anything -- because it was used! Find another place, one with some integrity. UPDATE: I filed a BBB complaint and their response was to outright lie about what happened -- they in effect claimed that they tried to talk me out of buying the filter because it was the wrong size. This business is disreputable. What could have been passed off as an incompetent salesperson has now been shown to be a company policy of deception. read more

Matt & Dave were terrific. They took the time to educate me on my system and when they were done the pool was immaculate & ready to use. Very grateful. read more

A Total nightmare! Thought hot springs was supposed to be a great brand, Bought a hotsprings from Pocono pool and spa and had nothing but issues, had a leak took 4 months of back and forth until finally I called hotsprings direct and the spa was picked up and kept for 3 weeks and finally had to be replaced. Having issues with the new spa as well and was told it would be $95 hour to trouble shoot. This spa is a total piece of garbage and the service from pocono pool and spa is lacking at best. Would never do this again--I have friends who bought spas for thousands of dollars less and have had no issues. Next step is to contact hotsprings and have them pick this up and get a refund. Would not recommend neither hotsprings nor Pocono pool and spa read more
