They did an excellent job communicating, and the installation went very smoothly. The controller looks like it came from the Ford factory and cleanly fits in the dashboard. The 7-way RV plug was flush-mounted in the bumper. It looks better than the factory installs I've had in the past! These guys are reprograming my computer so everything will work as if it came from the factory pre-installed. Let's talk cost...they were far more competitive than any dealer quote I received. And, they were able to get me in way faster as well. Ford told me two weeks. They scheduled the install within a few days of my call. Rob has basically stolen over $8700 from me (74yr old woman) and refuses to give it back! He is making me take him to court. He told me, and advertises that he could fix anything. His estimate for replacing my generator, generator bracket, repair undercarriage and make sure nothing else was damaged was over $8200. He said he would need half up front to pay for the new generator. I paid IN FULL when I dropped the van off on Aug 1, 2024. No generator work was ever even begun. After basically storing my van for 6 months I picked it up. he told me I would get my refund within 15 business days a few different times and said he'd mail my $500 key fob. He did NOT. Will he ever return MY money and key?? Not lookin good. He has no integrity. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!

I should have know something was wrong when I picked up the trailer and he had put one gutter drip elbow on upside down and completely left the other one off. Then they forgot to caulk some key leak points that were caulked from the factor. Rob told me they didn't need to be done, but he had obviously just forgot. Rob is a Smooth talker, but doesn't really know what he is doing. They started this business after losing another job that was totally unrelated. They are learning as they go. BIGGEST PROBLEM. The first day after picking up my trailer from his shop, I had a leak in my roof totally separate from the repair he did. While scrapping the old sealing off the vent they poked a hole in the roof with the scraper. This probably wouldn't have leaked if they would have known how to seal the vents properly. One key step they missed is covering all old lap sealant with new lap sealant. You can tell by the job they did, (every vent had tons of old lap sealant exposed) THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING ON ROOFS. Unfortunately, I was not the expert initially picking up the trailer and looking at the work, but quickly became more knowledgable than this company with some basic reading online after I found the leak. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! He wanted me to bring trailer back to him, but after seeing this company doesn't know what they are doing, I wouldn't never let them touch it again.

I read reviews and called around to a couple rv dealers (those that did not have repair shops) to see who they recommended. American was recommended by several so I went with them. Bottom line: quick turn around (lucky it was not spring when everyone is looking for work to be done), incredible person / friendly service, and most of all I am amazed how they could open up the roof and back wall and return it to a condition that no one could tell that it was ever damage. They far exceeded my expectations.
