I am ready to transfer all my savings (a not inconsiderable amount) to such a bank. Queenstown Bank advertises a 2 percent interest rate on one of their accounts. Today I called the bank to get details on this account. I called and, or course, reached the robot. The bank does NOT offer an option for general questions or for opening new accounts. Their three choices are for online issues, atm/debit card options, loans/mortgages, or OTHER. I kept choosing OTHER after being told I would be connected with an operator. Three times I was connected back to the robot. I called another time and this time chose LOANS/MORTGAGES. The nice lady that answered transferred me to OPERATIONS (operations???) after I told her I wanted to open a new account. I was put into Heather Smith's voicemail. I left a message saying that I had just had a very bad experience trying to reach someone and I thought I should find another bank. Within a few minutes I received a call from the bank. I was on another line and could not answer. When I listened to my voicemail it was a very loud slamming down of the phone. So...not only did they use my Caller ID to call me, but they did not have the courtesy to leave a proper message. Needless to say, I will NOT be doing business with Queenstown Bank.

Cape May has parking restrictions everywhere, which is completely understandable. I parked in the…read moreHomestead Real Estate lot, where ParkMobile clearly allows you to pay to park after 3:00 PM. I arrived just before 3:00, walked away from my car, and paid through the ParkMobile app which, of course, does not require you to physically stand next to your vehicle to pay. The only option was to pay in an 8-hour increment, so I paid for the full 8 hours even though I only needed to park for about 10 minutes. When I returned to my car at approximately 3:10, three people from the business were staring at me and there was a note left on my car. They told me I needed to pay for parking. I politely said, "Okay, thanks," and went to get into my car. One of them then felt the need to comment that they had my license plate number. I explained that I had already paid, but instead of simply accepting that, they were rude, dismissive, and acted as though they didn't believe me before storming back inside. I actually pulled up my ParkMobile app and showed them proof that I had paid. I paid for 8 hours of parking to be there for 10 minutes. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility or attitude. People are visiting Cape May to enjoy themselves and are perfectly willing to follow the parking rules. If you don't want the public parking in your lot, then perhaps you shouldn't partner with ParkMobile and offer paid public parking there. A little kindness and professionalism would have gone a long way. The entire interaction was unnecessarily unpleasant. 10/10 wouldn't recommend it there.

Upon moving into the property there were several problems/concerns that we as a family lived with after voicing our concerns and getting partial to no feedback. There were gnat larvae and eggs in the waterline which caused the ice maker to shoot out dirty ice with frozen bug eggs. The fridge and freezer unit was old it leaked which caused us to have a mold problem (which endangered the health of our 3 year old who has a severe mold allergy) and on two occasions we lost out on groceries and food due the the inability of the freezer and fridge remain at appropriate temperature's. Repair men were sent out only to slap a bandaid on the problem when a new fridge was needed. There were scrapings, old TVs mounts and drawings all over the walls upon moving into the property. The floors were so sticky we had to call the landlord whose nephew revealed he used the wrong solution to clean the floors with. We spent about a week scrubbing scrum and dirt from appliances (fridge, freezer,sink, stove, washer and dryer). The stove and oven had grease crust and grime it was not cleaned at all. The pantry had molded vegetable stains on the racks which I had to bleach out. The fridge reaked of something spoiled and rotted and molded that would not go away even after I bleach cleaned it and I was advised to mask the smell with baking soda. We even had to clean out drawers in the master bathroom that had the previous tenants personal feminine hygiene products in drawers. We kept asking for the entrance to the gate that lead to the backyard to be fixed being that it was a heavy wood material and our 3 year old likes to play in the backyard yard out of fear that the gate could fall over on her and crush her (the gate was never fixed). We were not granted access to the full house because we were never given the access code to the security system after asking for the code in several occasions. After being provided the 90 day notice we were told that we had to financially provide for the full 90 days even if we left the property although the law of Delaware states that is illegal. For this we lost the opportunity to move into a place we were already approved for. When it was time to get the security deposit back we were charged almost a thousand dollars for a commercial cleaning. We left the property in a better position than we received it.

One of the reasons we chose California Closets for the Murphy bed is its mechanism that allows the bed to extend out and then close back up works with minimal effort.
